Do NOT stay here! This hotel takes a booking and payment for a day room / driver room, but when you arrive in the morning they have nothing. Would NOT recommend!

We had a great stay at this hotel. When we checked in, we were greeted by a staff member named Anne. She was so nice and professional! She explained everything to us, and even called our room a little later, to make sure everything was as it should be.
She put us in a room on the back side of the hotel, away from the front facing busy street. It was so nice and quiet. Was a great place to stay for getting around the city, as it was easy to join in to any connector. The breakfast area was clean, and the items were stocked and a good assortment to choose from to eat, including a hot waffle maker.

Affordable price, perfect clean and convenient rooms. Great place to stay with the great comfort and best staff. Staff is always ready to help beyond and further. I surely recommend everyone to stay here and I will always stay here whenever I will visit the area again.

Our stay at the Days Inn was wonderful! The rooms were clean, and they had everything we needed. All of the staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING! From boiled eggs, to waffles, to yogurt and more! The location was perfect, a very easy drive from Calgary right to Banff.

Absolutely terrible. Management would not refund money. We were within 24 hours notice. We were stuck on the road and unable to make it. DONT STAY HERE. They will scam you. We will be looking into the policies of the hotel further. Unacceptable.

Fair price for the family trip, good for 2 family with access door to the next room, shower is good, aircon/heater is good, just the door sealer & carpet need to fix and clean carpet stains.

My family made a timing error and got to the city hours earlier than expected. The staff was AMAZING and was able to move mountains to get us in a little early. We had to e opportunity to work with 3 service reps and each were super friendly. Room was very clean and breakfast was restocked immediately. They have a workout room, we didn’t have a chance to use it but just letting others know. I will definitely return there for my next visit

Garbage hotel not even worth a single star

Parkings are narrow and upon opening doors they touch to the adjacent vehicles

Rooms are small with between doors

What’s going on in the next room can be heard clearly and even if you want you can talk to them without going out

Ice machine is out of order

No drinking water and glasses are missing

Refrigerator not working

No paper napkins in the washroom (got two papers only)

Bed is bad noisy noisy

Great value for price. The shower was great and so was the receptionist and other staff.

The coffee at breakfast was one shade darker than 0 (on a scale of 1-10) and wouldn't have even tweeked my kids but that's easily addressed.

I would easily come back again.

Front desk had an away sign. Waited at least 15 mins. There was a phone by the waiting area so I called front desk and she actually picked up the phone from a different location. Wonder where she was. I told her I am waiting to check in and there's another person behind me as well. She sounded annoyed that I called because she had an away sign put up. When she finally arrived at the front desk, she made another comment that when she has that sign up again, just wait and don't call.

Lady, I've been driving for 6 hours and I just want to get into my room. I've checked in to hotels in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night before and they don't keep me waiting like you have.

As for the hotel itself, it's a bit dirty and run down looking. Carpets look dirty and when passing through the fitness room, I can see it was pretty dirty in there. The carpet in the room looks very old. 30 year old looking carpet. Only staying here because it's closer to Calgary airport.

Have stayed there before and had a positive experience. Just tried making a reservation and it was a poor experience, after 30 minutes on the phone I cancelled the reservation, too difficult.

Pet friendly, so clean (no carpet) excellent beds… 2wine glasses and every convenience in the room.breakfast is do it yourself but the price is worth it … cleanliness level and freindly staff far higher than most hotels!

This hotel was over priced for the quality. Very small elevator. Room cramped for space with very loud air conditioning unit almost directly over one bed at ceiling height. Pictures on website look much better than the real place. Beds were clean & comfortable. Coffee machine in room, could not find an electrical outlet nearby, had to plug it in the bathroom. Supplied one tiny shampoo & conditioner (2 different brands) for 3 adults? Bathroom clean with good towels. Very low star & old, should be priced as a budget hotel, definitely not worth $165/ night! This place needs some love & attention! Suggest $99 max.

Air conditioner doesn't work well. I was put in a room across from the laundry and ice machine. A couple of doors away from the elevator and staircase. Curtains don't block any light so if you have to work early don't stay here! Absolutely horrible stay!

Room & washroom were clean. They have a small breakfast room on the second floor which is convenient but noisy if you plan on sleeping in. Breakfast selection was decent. Location is not too far from the hospital.

We ended up having to spend the night in Calgary due to a medical appointment and the Days Inn NW was the closest to the children's hospital so we decided to stay there. It's a smaller but cozy hotel. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Great rates and a discount for medical stays. The front of house staff goes above and beyond for guests. Close to a few restaurants and 711 so you don't have to go far for food/drinks. Free breakfast in the morning with make your own waffles was nice. We would definitely stay again.

Not a bad place to stay. Carpets need refreshing, but everything else was in good shape in the room. Tiny front lobby, so kind of a strange first impression. Breakfast is not bad and they have one of those waffle makers, which is always nice!

I didn't technically stay. I had trouble with a booking where their website told me something went wrong and I didn't receive a confirmation email nor text and assumed that I will have to make another one. In the end, there's still a penalty charge for no-show for the reservation I didn't know exist.

I called in to ask for clarification, and they said there's nothing they can do about it. It felt like I'm paying for their website not functioning correctly.

2 stars instead of 1 was given because the staffs' tones on the phone sound sincere and professional.

This hotel is very well run with the management. Rosemary and Jack took care of a situation for me. For budget hotel it is great, i needed better internet to work so it wasnt ideal when i arrived. I stayed the night and asked for a refund for the rest of the trip as i cant use the speeds. I Booked through a third party and paid online. Days inn took care of it, called hotels.com and made sure everything was refunded properly. I recommend staying there for the great and proper service, as long as you dont need fast internet. Staff even called the room to make sure it was okay after i checked in. Breakfast was fine too.

The staff was super friendly and for us this I'd a big thing! Why I can only give 3 stars is the rooms are COLD. The bathroom floor is so cold we had to line the floor with towels to step on. It was also super hard to regulate the temperature In the room. 22 degrees was to cold and we were shivering, but 23 was so hot we were sweating! I'm thinking the thermostat was not working right. Other than that, it was clean, has a nice complimentary breakfast room and like I said, staff was very pleasant to deal with.

Had a 3 night stay at this place and let me tell ya … should’ve left after 10 seconds. The receptionist (older white hair lady) lacks in communication, assisting to meet your needs. The staff helping out with complementary breakfast are extremely rushing, don’t refill anything & close 30 mins earlier than they’re supposed to. I was trying to make a bagel and the woman was reaching over me and it was very uncomfortable. All nights I had stayed I didn’t get a good sleep, the beds are pretty dirty also, the tissue box wasn’t refreshed & the handle to the shower came off as soon as I went to turn it. Lol probably won’t ever stay here again.

No wifi/internet.

Had to use data all evening and night and morning.

Breakfast lady was not hospitable at all. Too rushed and did not care about the guests. Everything was empty even before 10 am and she kept putting things away.

Was OK, room could use a few updates but over all was fine. Wifi was a bit of a pain in that it required us to sign in on many occasions, even after having left the hotel to go out, Again had to sign in in the morning upon getting up. Location was fine and included breakfast was pretty standard. Would I stay again, not sure.

The lady with white hair and glasses never wears her mask despite the provincial wide mandate to do so right now. Her reasons vary from being behind plexiglass (she never is) or that she can't breathe. Since she is working in the tourist industry meeting people who are traveling every day I find this quite irresponsible.

Nightmare! They can kick you out at midnight, deny check-in after advance payment and can easily say you booked via 3rd party, we don't care. "Be prepared"
The worst thing that can happen to an international student, kind of homeless situation for me.

Never going to stay in any daysinn.

Unfortunately I will never stay there again. I was there for work and the lighting is so dim in the rooms you can't see if the carpet on the floor is clean or not, it sure did not look clean. It smelt like an ash tray in the hall way up to our room and they charged me an extra $100 which I never got back. I thought it was like a deposit incase you take a towel or something. Nope. For what I was charged not worth it.

Exceptionally clean, good customer service, the manager and staff are very friendly.
With very good breakfast with variety of chooses.
I traveled to Calgary for medical reasons they gave me a discount as well.
Hotel’s Location is very convenient, there is a walking trailer along side of river if you want to do some activities.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were extremely clean besides a stain on the carpet. The bathrooms were spotless which is very hard to find in a hotel and I was surprised. I only stayed for two nights just to go to the zoo with my brother and nieces but it was very nice while I was there. The front desk staff was very sweet and didn't even laugh at me when I accidentally asked them if I could "take your wifi" as english is not my first language, even I laughed! Perhaps I am not as funny as I think? It was kind of them regardless and they understood what I meant almost immediately. When I was leaving once I tripped in the hallway and a housekeeper helped me up even though they were busy. This was also a little while ago back when there were not covid because otherwise I would not have stayed here.

While booking into the Days Inn in Calgary by the airport. I’ve never received such horrible check-in service; Aj Sing was our clerk. While booking (online, we had called the hotel about four times Thursday and Friday to clarify, but the pool was open and looking for the pool slots at check-in only) for this hotel, we asked for the pool. We were informed that they were open collecting booked slots at CHECK-IN (4 pm). While getting there at 3: 55, we were informed that there were NO slots for the pool. Aj told us that we would get our refund. Within 5 minutes of calling hotel bookings (4: 15). Aj went and kicked a family out of the pool for the 430 slots. We said no as that was not enough time to still check-in, un-pack for our swim gear, then change? Would you have given us what like 20 if that? He told us the refund was NO longer on the table as he offered us the 430 slots. He then said he would call a room for the 5pm slot. We said OKAY (after he stated that we wouldn’t get our money back because he offered us a pool slot after he literally just said that all of them were booked). Then after this female comes into the lobby mad that her slot in the pool was cancel (he told us that she said it was okay, she made it clear that it was NOT OKAY) after they paid for early check-in (I wasn’t told that was a thing over the phone when I was booking, I would’ve also paid for early check-in) and drove 3 hours (like we did), they also paid for 2 rooms to be able to book a longer slot. Aj then tried to tell this girl that she wasn’t allowed two slots if they were for a family.but they paid for 2 rooms, so, therefore, they should get that slot (If already booked for the slot, so, therefore, they should have it taken away, there should be rules set in stone). Aj then called the manager. I asked to speak to this manager a hand full of times and was ignored. The room lady got to speak to the manager before I got to (I spoke to him at 450)! After speaking to the manager and getting our room refunded. A group came in to check in before we left, and they clarified that their PRE BOOK slot was still for 9 and 10 pm. We were told by booking and Aj that no one could pre-book. I find this extremely unprofessional. Being told one thing and then having it taken back, again and again, Aj should have never told us that the room could be refunded and then take his word back. I asked to speak to a manager on Shift? No one is in charge? That’s pretty unprofessional for such a popular franchise not to have someone to act in and help them face to face. A check-in shouldn't be giving a person high anxiety. I’ve stayed with you guys many times in the past and never had an awful experience. I understand that there are covid restrictions, but you can’t cancel other people's paid pool slots After you stated that there were no slots, meaning that people didn’t get to double? You should all be following the rules? So, if no pre-booking pool slots is a thing, how did others get it? You shouldn’t repeatedly be lying to customers if you have zero power to make any refund decisions. You shouldn’t lie to a customer about getting to talk to the manager if you don’t allow them to speak to them. It would be best if you didn’t lie by saying that there are ZERO slots and then suddenly be kicking people out of them. We had an early check out for 6 am so we wouldn’t be able to book for a morning slot, and even if we eventually did get a slot, we no longer wanted to stay because of all the high stress, unprofessional, and lying that was going on made it a turn off. An $80 room shouldn’t have taken an hour and a half to say okay for the refund after already offered to us in the first place. It would help if you didn't have to put someone through such high stress that anxiety attacks kick in from the unbelievable unprofessionalism that was going on.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The wifi was atrocious though even after they did a reset. Yeh I know 3rd world problems, but when you rely on it for work it's a different story.

It was clean enough, but it's frustrating only having one entrance and exit that locks by dinner with no kitchen on site. Thankfully you can use your key to get in the front door, the elevator, the stairs, and your room.

As you enter the hallway you will notice a strong aroma of fresh urine, it truly begins your stay on the right foot. You can't help but pass the smoke pouring out of the rooms as you make your way to the most uncomfortable bed of your life, you would be crazy to settle in for the night and not turn around walk out and spend $12 more for a little more comfort and dare I say a little more class. But hey if the doom and gloom of a days inn is your thing, you will be right at home. Sleep tight and don't let the bes bugs bite.

Website is very misleading. Hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Hallways had a strong urine smell. We were called back home due to an emergency. We spent all of 5 minutes in the room, touched nothing. We were still charged for the night. Asked to talk to the manager was told he would call me in 3 days, I heard nothing. I called several times and left messages and finally got to talk to him 3 weeks later. He had no compassion, never gave us a refund or even offered some compensation. We had checked in early in the day but he said he had no time to prepare the room to resell. Wasn't looking for the world but we never used the room.

The pros: the hotel was close to shopping, restaurants, and the highway. We upgraded to a deluxe king room to give us some distance between us and the kids, our bed was comfy and they got their own sofa beds as there were 2. We had a jacuzzi jet tub which the kids liked. It was pet friendly.
The cons: when I checked in I was informed that although I was paying with credit, I would have to leave a $100 deposit, this was not on the booking.com reservation I made, and so I paid with debit and left the deposit on my credit card. When I checked out I was told I’d be refunded my deposit in a few days? And I still have not even received the receipt for my stay, which seems quite sketchy.the staff were unpleasant and generally rude. The room was quite dingy, with no pictures on the walls and old carpeting. We were only given 3 towels for 4 people and were only provided with one coffee pod, when I asked for more coffee and towels from the front desk the staff was again very rude. One of our pillows had makeup on it. There were no pillows for the sofa beds and just thin sheets, the staff was reluctant to give me extra blankets. The mattresses for the sofa beds were very thin and uncomfortable and the sofa bed closest to the door was broken. The booking.com bio said they provided 2 continental breakfast Options during covid, yet the breakfast I was Given was inedible. Our key cards seemed to stop working every time we left the room for more than a few hours (and I kept them away from my phone or other cards). We had to reserve time slots for the pool, yet while we were in the small pool about 25 other guests had come in within the 40 minutes we were in the pool for. We were given “fresh” pool towels and when I went to use one my fiancé pointed out that there was blood on the towel, after thoroughly examinations myself and my family for blood we determined that the blood on the towel was not from me, which was appalling. Will never stay in this hotel again, and will advise everyone I know not to waste their money here.

Was alright until we got to our room found hair in the tub hair on the bathroom floor.
Woke up to find cleaning crew working without masks but all customers are required. Not a place to stay if you worry about covid. I seen cheaper hotels taking more steps to insure safety for customers. Bag breakfast - banana, granola bar, muffin, juice box

I made a reservation for a room on may 5 due to being locked out of my house and upon check in the two ladies at the desk denied my reservation due to only having a visa debit but at that same moment a what looked like a homeless man walked into the lobby with keycard. So if you can tell me how a homeless person obtains a credit card I would like to know.because I find it to be quite discriminatory to tell a well dressed and clean person that has cash in hand and pre paid for a room gets denied and no return of payment.

Great place to stay while in Calgary. Staff is very friendly, river path directly across the street, close to Bowness Park Foothills Hospital, Canada Olympic Park etc.

From the outside it's no special pie, the hallways are dimly lit narrow and low ceilings, rooms were nice and the showers were good, water pressure was a little low, oh and parking was low overhang under the actual building, price was extremely fair.

People come for their's vacation to Calgary and always outside the hotel only come to hotel by late night Did we want to wake up early to have their Continental Breakfast (Buy from Costco and Display) ?

The room was clean and staff was friendly. However, the location isn't in such a great place, all the restaurants were pretty far at a walking distance. There wasn't much nearby at all. The breakfast served was okay, there was coffee, orange juice, bread to toast, cereal, and a waffle maker.
