Days Inn by Wyndham Edmonton Downtown

The gentleman that checked us in was fantastic, but when my fiancé left to take my father in law to his appointment in the morning the lady at the counter wouldn’t let them back up or to even park. Was completely rude and hard to deal with. Will not be staying there again!

Pool with slide and hot tub available, also a gym. Rooms were well equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and a toaster oven. Plenty of free parking.

Awesome staff, great location and lots of places to eat perfect hot breakfast for people on the go. The staff go beyond to help their guests. It is close to Levi stadium clean room and affordable stay quiet and kid friendly. Room are clean and comfortable.

Room was very warm, no access to AC to cool it down, opened window but it was loud. Rooms are good size but very dated. Bathroom smelled like it was recently smoked in. Paper thin walls, could hear lot of noise from the hallway.
Upon entering the room there were 2 paper cups with water in them, that had slowly leaked. Had to cleanup water on bathroom counter and back of the toilet, where the cups were placed.
Staff were great about hearing our concerns, location was good.

It's very.average! It's a good value if you're in town for Oilers games but other than that you could do better. Parking is $10+ a day and the spots can barely fit a Corolla. Location is good for walking about Jasper Ave. Would recommend if you don't need anything beyond a sleep for the night.

Great location and good secure parking garage. Rooms were very clean and the price was unbeatable. We had a great stay walking to the nearby Oilers game.

A great option to stay in Edmonton, great location and so friendly staff. Definitely I will choose this hotel for my next visit.

If I could give 0/5 I would. Absolutely ridiculous service. Liezel is horrible to deal with she doesn’t care about the clientele. This hotel is a HUGE money grab.

Disliked · I thought days inn was major hotel company but we got scammed. I booked a room with two queens beds, but we were told that they only have a bed with one queen bed when we checked in, and they said find another hotel if you don’t like the room, it was snowing night at 10pm and my daughter is 8yrs girl. They gave us an extra small bed and it wasn’t totally uncomfortable and not expecting to days inn. She even said the room they gave to us is bigger than the room you booked and it was lie, checked that the same size. They ruin our Edmonton vacation, I’m not going to visit again never ever.

Christian, Michelle, & coworkers were excellent! I'll be back for medical & leisure trips.

The Front Desk staff was knowledgeable and efficient. They took the time to answer any questions that I had. The location was fantastic and convenient. The hotel is located right downtown and they have their own parkade and free parking.

Did a day book and still had to put a deposit down which did get refunded. Don't go here if you are just doing a day book

Pluses,
-We were upgraded to a much larger room after complaining about no fridge in first room we had booked.
-Some staff were very nice, especially Carolina and Christian. Both are a real asset to this hotel.
-Housekeeping staff mainly pleasant, but some issues with not being able to speak English.
-Quiet for the most part.
-Beds comfortable, room clean.
-Windows that actually opened and heating system worked well.
-Good convenient location.
-Reasonable prices.
-Free business center, easy to access with printer.
-Didn't use on-site restaurant (Cora's) so can't comment on that facility but looked busy.

Negatives,
-Michelle and Viktoria on front desk were not friendly. Did not convey a positive impression for this hotel. Limited "people skills".
-Gross smell in elevator, consistently. Had to "hold our noses" when using it.
-No "do not disturb" signs so housekeeping staff knocked on our door when we didn't want them too. Very unusual that they don't provide these door signs.
-Bathroom sink is outside the actual bathroom so you have to turn on lights and wake up everyone when using the bathroom at night. No privacy.
-No on- site laundry.

Overall, a good pick in downtown Edmonton BUT there IS room for improvement.

Especially great for people that are arriving in Edmonton/Canada for the first. The crew is extremely friendly and patient, particularly Cristian form the front desk. Room was very clean and confortable. Thermostat worked perfectly. They have a door that connects directly to the Cora Breakfast and Lunch, which has amazing options.

Nothing special, but it's a good source of shelter at a cheap price for a good location.

I appreciate what this hotel has to offer, good service, great rooms and rates. Thanks for helping me with my check in and thanks for the late check out. I will be returning to your hotel in the future.

Great location, paid parking. Rooms are ok. Facility is well maintained. No room service. Beds are ok. Not a great view but lots of restaurants n pubs in walking distance. Good price for downtown hotel.
The bathroom is not bright. Please add some bright lights.

I won’t go back if I can help it. As soon as you walk in the door there’s a smell. Concierge did not greet us at all when returning to the hotel later that evening. Everywhere else smells too, like diapers or something. We got a room with 2 queens and I’ve never seen a smaller room before. The lights flickered, the bathtub was too shallow to actually bathe? There wasn’t even a fridge? We had ordered pizza and wings then realized we had no was of storing the leftovers so they were garbage. I’ve never been to a hotel without a fridge. This is minor, But the tv was very small. With the price you pay for a hotel down town, this was such a weird experience.

It's an old hotel, the rooms, etc are dated. Rooms are clean but small. If you need a roof over your head and a comfy bed while you go to the Oilers game or business one nighter, it's a good room for the price
