Days Inn by Wyndham Grande Prairie

Room was freezing cold when I arrived and stayed that way for at least 3 hours.

Rooms don't have any usb plugs, tvs are smaller then expected, hotel is starting to show wear and tear / lack of proactive maintenance.

Excellent location with easy access to the highway. Friendly front desk staff.

Tub was a slow drainer, stood in dirty water when having a shower.only accepted credit card for payment.

Rooms are nice parking is at a premium not recommended for large trucks
Staff is very friendly.

Re visited the location recently.
Front desk was busy. Had short wait. Polite and friendly staff.
Breakast has gotten better. Comfortable room and quite.
Bit out of the way from everything.
But good spot when just overnight passing through.

The front desk staff where so helpful. I really appreciate how Jessie recognized I could use an extra hand and stepped in when I really needed it.

Zero stars, because we didn’t end up staying it was so bad. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude asked me why I need a service dog call Ma and then charge me another $25 fee for having a service dog. Every other Days Inn I have stayed at do not charge a service dog fee. So we looked online and the price was $123 we came in she said here the price is actually $135 after taxes and service dog fees it was actually over $175 for a one night stay with only one bed. We got to our room to find out there was no bath tub and only a shower which was never disclosed, we asked to change rooms she told us there was no other rooms available. She would not let us speak to management she stated she’s the only one that we’re allowed to talk to. I ended up getting in contact with another local hotel that offered me a cheap weekly rate which Days Inn did not offer me and I could have my service animal with no problems. When I tell you that the wild Rose in hospitality is better than Days Inn in Grand Prairie that says a lot. Do not stay here I am absolutely disgusted. There are much better local hotels.

This was Sunday, June 26 around 11: 30 PM at night.

I ended up asking for a refund and not even staying the night here.

My stay didn’t start off on the best note. First night there, went into the fitness room and one of the guys working there was in there, and seemed to be masterbating.

Toilet was plugged when we got into the room, I called the front desk and was told to ‘come get a plunger from the front desk. ’ Gross. It’d be different if it was I whom plugged it up, but someone else from before?

Finally, my gf came up to see me. She rented a room, at 1030pm the front desk calls her telling her to come down and pay for the room, and that my gf was only charged for the deposit…. At 1030pm. I found that to be extremely unprofessional and a real lack of courtesy. Besides, what hotel makes you pay for a room before your first night? It was very irritating.

Location was gawd awful. For $30 more a night you can stay at the Four Points by Sheraton and the staff are great with huge rooms.

When we entered our room after checked in, it was really cold and we noticed that room heater was OFF, I went to front desk and asked him to change our room as the room was cold and it's every hotel's responsibility to provide temperature controlled room, he just smiled and said to turned ON the heater. After turning ON the heater it took almost 1 hour to warmed up the room, for that 1 hour we were shivering and waited for the heat. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially after paying $129/night. Terrible Service!
Already contacted their complaints department but only 1 email was received that somebody from management will contact you regarding the issue, but no one has contacted yet.

Second time staying here both times the rooms were showing some wear and tear also both times the A/C didn't seem to work properly. Excellent breakfast though and it was clean!

The place is well run and clean but does have a few minor issues. The ovens don't work in most of the rooms and my heater was not working either. Although they did get it running by the third night. They also offered to give me a different room but I declined so really can't complain. The breakfast buffet is also pretty good with coffee cereal several types of eggs bacon and sausage for the selection. Also had a fair selection of TV stations and a bunch of DVDS that could be borrowed at no charge.

That's clean quiet they're really good people at the front no complaints whatsoever not much around there for food unfortunately other than Subway but that's what you have a vehicle for.

The breakfast here is excellent! I was so impressed with all the options. They even had soup and egg rolls if you want that for breakfast. They had cereal, bacon, fruit, muffins, waffles etc. It was quite impressive for a free breakfast. The staff are also very nice.

Really great offering of arrival snacks and large rooms perfect for getting g some work done, halls we're a bit dirty but other than that it was great

Great breakfast selection. Staff was extremely accommodating. They have shelves of free DVDs to borrow. Beds are comfy. Hotel is clean. Was an all around great experience.

Run down. Far away from amenities and they gouged me last night to make a buck. Will never stay there again. Worst Days Inn

Amazing breakfast, very friendly staff, comfortable beds. House keeping is a bit lacking, you'll see in the hallways where they vacuum around the garbage bins instead of moving them, jacuzzi tub needed a good sanitization as the jets were surrounded by slimy scum. Other than that it's a good place, the gym is well equipped, laundry facilities nice.
