Stayed for 4 days. The room was nice and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. Friendly staff as well. We will definitely consider staying there again should the opportunity arise.
The Hotel parking is too congested, trucks will have hardtime to park. Rooms are small, shower was slow and only once we were out of hot water. The AC or Heat in room was terrible due to noise and not staying on its set temperature. Staff is great. The Breakfast sometimes might not be included depends through whom you are booking.
We stayed with a group. The rooms and interior are all redone. The beds very comfortable. The hotel staff is excellent, doing all they could to ensure our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this property.
Terrible customer service. Not only did they get my name incorrectly on the booking they also got my reservation dates incorrect. They refused to do anything to help and would not honor the price we booked at. Instead we had to book online to get a discounted rate and switch rooms throughout our 3 night stay. The beginning of our trip was completely soured by the manager. Will not stay here again.
I had to renew my hotel card to get in my room about 20 times and you have to buy breakfast out all the hotels I have stayed none of them I had to pay for breakfast. Out of all the hotels I have stayed in this is the worst at of all of the all of them
Friendly staff. Rooms with comfortable beds. Walking distance to Sylvan Lake. Complimentary breakfast served in the restaurant. Choice of eggs, protein and toast, as well as a side of fruit. Includes choice of tea, coffee or juice.
This hotel has the best breakfast buffet:) it probably took them two hours to make everything that was offered for the breakfast (and it’s included in the room price).
We planned a last minute holiday to sylvan lake and decided to stay based on the good reviews. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean. We requested a quiet room and got a corner room on the top floor which was very appreciated. The included breakfast and free parking were very nice. I would stay again.
Be aware! "Free Breakfast" is only for adults, kids have to pay. We were surprised when we were presented with a bill for our kids when we attended the "free complimentary breakfast".
Huge shout-out to Dawn (front desk receptionist) for appropriately and effectively dealing with a slip up in the system. Despite reserving a room for 4 people with 2 queen beds, and even called in days before to have a confirmation email sent to us. When we showed up, we were told only one adult was registered for a room with 2 queen beds. The hotel manager wanted us to be accountable and pay for the extra people despite having confirmation emails from the hotel directly. Once again, huge thanks to Dawn for providing us with free breakfast coupons and fixing our room setting, despite the hotel manager wanting us to pay 50% for the breakfast on top of being accountable for a system slip on their end for the number of people in each room.
Overall rooms were clean and decently sized for a short visit.
My grandparents came to town. They chose this hotel because their last experience 5 months ago was fantastic. The blonde lady at front desk was fantastic and ensured my grandparents had everything they needed. Fast forward to just over 2 weeks ago. My grandparents had to check out early on their stay. The hotel appears to have gone extremely downhill. Firstly they was overcharged. The desk workers were clueless as to why They was double charged. The one guy blamed it on being very new to the country. Which also explains his lack of English. Grandparents had to file a transaction dispute in the end. Desk staff didn’t know how to operate the system correctly. On my grandparents second day, they went down to have breakfast and was welcomed to hearing nothing but profanities and racial remarks coming from the guy in the kitchen. Definitely made it unpleasant for them. On the third day my grandparents decided to check out early and lose their pre paid room due to level of service they have received. Very disappointed considering several months ago the experience was perfect. I think they can do better.
Our room was extremely small, for 150 for the night I expected more. Also a crazy air conditioning system, the balcony was extremely hot. Room 304 avoid!
So on the positive side …the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean & updated, and was close to the beach! On the other side …there is NO Elevator and it’s a 3 story older building! The air conditioner unit was loud, and needed to be on the entire time as there was no screen in the sliding doors. The floors were uneven - and accompanied with the crazy carpet choice - I felt a bit vertigo walking the halls lol! And the major issue for us was - PARKING - the lot was always full at night and the crazy triangle parking area has spots that are difficult to get out of! But Overall it did the trick for our stay, and kept us cool! Lol
I had a 1 night stay while I was in town for a wedding. They allowed us to check in early which was absolutely amazing of them. The room, although not overly large was clean and even had a small private patio. The complimentary breakfast served at the attached restaurant was fantastic. The staff were all virtuous and friendly. This is a fantastic place to stay for someone on a budget and will definitely be back next time I need a place in Sylvan Lake!
Dawn the lady that works in the front is amazing. Got me checked in fast. Great Rooms. The air conditioner really pumps so it’s easy to sleep when it’s hot out.
Was easy to find, but a bit far from town. About 30 mins walk, it's a good walk. Room is a bit small for 2. Sure can hear everything outside or neighbors. Otherwise, service is good. Breakfast is OK, nothing fancy but pretty good portion, however if they can put toast in a separate plate will be lot easier to eat, potato cubes tastes a little off. The environment is clean, room is clean.
The room was rather small compared to other rooms we have had at Days Inn but it was nice. We think the queen size bed we were supposed to get was actually a double, but it was comfortable regardless. The ladies who served us on the 10th through the 12th of July (when we went to the restaurant) in The Lake-House Diner were lovely.
