Great service! Easiest shopping experience ever! Tailoring was perfect. Beautiful outfits to choose from. Very helpful in selecting the perfect jewellery to match the outfits!
Love shopping at this store! Their costs are reasonable and they have a staff who is really motivated to find you something that works for u! I recently bought 3 outfits here and loved all of them!
Great customer service, they have many options in men kurta-pajama Beautiful dresses in so many colors and jewellery The guy at front with spec (forgot to ask the name) was amazing in giving suggestions!
Jain master is very good at fitting lengha and blouse. Very good service by anju Aunty both of them, highly recommend. Thank you for short time service.
Did some Eid shopping for the family last week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Aanchal assisted us with suggesting some awesome and beautiful dresses for my kids; selecting the correct sizes for my 9 year old daughter and 6 year old son. The store was very busy but still managed to provide an excellent customer service. The male staff Rohit helped me choose a sherwani and kurta pyjama. Rohit's service was so good, in the end I even ended up getting an extra pair of matching kurta pyjama suit with my little son. They aren't pushy the offer was too hard to resist.
The store clothes collections are much better than most of the Indian Pakistani stores around it. They also have an in-house alteration service at an extra charge. I was told they keep updating their stock almost every two weeks to make sure the dresses are trendy. The prices could be a little lower but I didn't mind spending a bit more than the budget because of Eid. I would try them again.
This place has one of the worst customer service. I felt like they were racist. Long story short, I went there by myself, not having full knowledge of what I should wear on certain events.and no one asked if I needed help with anything or if I had a question. The next time I went, I was with a friend of mine who was part of their culture, and they were so nice and suddenly knew how to help a customer out.weird, I thought.
I had the most traumatic experience yesterday. My mother in-law and sister in-law (to be) took me to a store to purchase my first outfit for Eid. What was supposed to be an exciting and joyful day quickly turned sour when we stepped into the store. We asked the sales lady if they might have something in my size and immediately she looked me up and down, turned her head in disgust and said ‘no’ with so much disdain in her voice. Eventually, she pulled out two dresses that she thought might fit me but her disgust towards me was so apparent that I felt really uncomfortable. My sister in-law was so shocked at how we were being treated she immediately told everyone we were leaving right away. I asked her if that was normal behaviour and she said never in a million years was she treated like that. Maybe it’s because I’m fat and maybe it’s because I’m white, I really don’t know but that was the worst treatment I’ve ever received in a store. It was embarrassing to get that treatment in front of my new family. The only good from that moment was the bonding experience afterwards when I told my mother in-law and sister in-law that I love my body no matter what. We all started chanting about how much we love our bodies and we turned that experience into something positive. Shame on Deepali Fashions and their non-inclusive environment.
Mixed feelings writing this review. I purchased a Lehenga about 3.5 years ago for my brother in law's engagement party, the outfit was beautiful, very well stitched & they were helpful in finding it.
Last weekend we went in there to look for bridal outfits for my upcoming wedding. The gentleman we spoke to said we don't carry bridal but our store in Calgary does, so we thanked him but still wanted to look at things as I am going for a more simple look, he said he didn't have anything to show us & nothing in my size. We sat down anyways & after a few minutes waiting a woman showed us 2 Lehengas & then walked away just leaving us sitting there. The gentleman came over & showed us a couple of short Anarkali suits but seemed super uninterested in helping or showing anything else. I asked to see 2 other Lehenga's & he just walked away. We felt so uncomfortable so decided to check out some jewelry & leave.
I plan to go back to purchase some jewelry because prices are fair but I will not be purchasing any suits/lehengas, their customer service needs improvement. Your opinion of "bridal" may be different than the brides opinion so why not show them what you've got when they ask to see things they like. Also, next time someone who is a little bigger walks into your store, don't immediately tell them you have nothing in their size, at least be respectful about it. I already am self conscious of the way I look, adding that doesn't make a person feel welcome & want to come back.
HANDS DOWN CUSTOMER SERVICE! All staff member were impressively helpful with my wife's Dress shopping, they made sure she was happy with her purchase and Alterations were done in really really short notice, Master ji was superhelful with the Alterations, if you are looking for east Indian attire, must visit this place, good prices as well. Thank You Deepali Fashion!
Nice selection of clothing 4/5.0/5 for customer service. Staff was VERY RUDE. This is one of the worst experience I've had. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone due to their lack of customer service.
Nice collection for Indian wear, prices are reasonable. Customer service is hands down great. I will be definitely be back for more shopping if i ever need to buy Indian wear.
Amazing collection for sarees and kurtas at reasonable price. Owner and the Gujarati lady were very kind. I found silk saree and kurta set as exactly as I was looking for! I will definitely visit back for future purchases and highly recommend!
Great customer service. The owner is so kind in helping us during exchange even though its.not their shop policy. Kind hearted. I would love to go again.
Really disappointed with the customer service which resulted in me walking out within 2 minutes. The middle aged guy that I was dealing with was super rude. I was excitedly looking for a bridal gown and I was met with hostility. This isn't how you run a business.
I had an amazing experience, as they accommodated everything from finding the right jewelry, to getting a suit for my mother in law, treating my son so sweetly with candies, and getting everyone altered on time. It is the go to shop for everything, and my kids outfits were perfect and they both matched. Will be coming back for whenever I need anything.
Hands down excellent selection and prices. Love the service provided here. I have an Indian wedding to attend in the summer. First time at an Indian outfit store, the girls and the owner here made me feel comfortable.
This shop is reasonable, they have a wide variety of Indian clothing, men, women and children. Their prices are not bad compare to the other South Asian clothing stores. I personally have bought clothes for my 2 boys for Eid from here 3 years in a row. I would recommend this shop
They hands down have the best collection and prices in Edmonton. The staff is also very friendly and provide excellent service. From here on this is our go to place for any ethnic shopping.
Walked into Deepali Fashion and was blown away at how clean and comfortable the store looks. Very nice set up. Staff was very friendly, the owners daughter showed me so many outfits for my wife. My wife wanted something last minute and could not make it to Deepali Fashion due to family emergency. I brought one of her other outfits with me for sizing. Tailor was perfect, the outfit got so many compliments and so many people said nice choice where you buy? I said Deepali Fashion. Owner gave good deal. Now I’m going back for Kurta very lovely and colorful styles to choose from. I’ll definitely be back for more. This is my kind of store lots of amazing choices.
