This is by far the best vet I have used. All the staff is knowledgeable and willing to pet and acknowledge my pup. She just loves going there.

Today I had my Bantam BullDog named Brandy in to visit with Dr. Pat Higgins. Immediately when I arrived I was welcomed by courteous and professional staff members. Dr. Higgins was thorough in his examination of Brandy. Dr. Higgins took the time to put Brandy at ease and to chat with us in a calm and friendly manner. I was immensely impressed with the professional and courteous interaction with Dr. Higgins and the entire staff at Deer Park Pet Hospital.

Dr. Katie Graves and the whole team are amazing. My dog had a difficult spay and Dr. Katie went above and beyond with multiple check ins and was so compassionate. Dr. Grant and Dr. Katie answered the many, many questions and concerns we had. I trust them so much.

Amazing service and staff, the Vets take extra care in explaining any concerns or requirements for your furry child. We take all 5 of our cats and our dog here and never disappointed. Although this is the last thing we are worried about when it comes to our animals the price is beyond reasonable for the care and service provided.

My experience at this deer Park hospital is fantastic. The staff is so friendly and so professional. Being a first time dog owner they have made it very easy for me to have the know-how to take care of my puppy. The prices for his shots are very reasonable. If you want professional care for your pet I recommend this hospital by far.

We recently took our new puppy to Dr. Grant for an initial assessment and her second set of shots - it was an incredibly positive experience! Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful! Dr. Grant answered all of our questions and made us feel confident that our puppy will be in good hands!

I’ve had a puppy with chronic ear infections and allergies and I’ve gone to several vets local to me but they don’t accommodate me or give her treatments to help, just the same thing that I’ve told them doesn’t help. The vets and staff here are very accommodating and helpful, it’s always worth the hour drive to get my little girl taken care of! They give her exactly what helps her and listen when I tell them what doesn’t work, and have helped me figure out her allergies and give her prescriptions for preventing ear infections, whereas other vets just tell me to “come back if it happens again” and then can’t fit me in for weeks.

HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this vet if you have a pup that has allergies/chronic ear infections or any condition that other places seem to only charge you and not help you. Definitely the most reasonably priced vet as well.

We recently adopted a pet from a local rescue and Deer Park Pet Center was on their list of recommended vets. We took our new bunny in for a checkup and the vet and staff were all very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and welcoming.

I highly recommend them.

Dr. Plasma is AMAZING and saved my kitty's life. We came back for another visit and she is just a fantastic and knowledgeable doctor, and the staff are wonderful! Would recommend to anyone!

I've been bringing my large lab-x (Stanley) here for a few years and I've always been happy with the care provided by all of the veterinarians and staff. They are all super kind, patient and diligent. Recently, we were referred to Dr Stock to have Stan in for massage and acupuncture. I'm blown away by the progress Dr Stock has made with Stan in just two appointments. His pain levels went down immediately and his mobility has increased significantly. He gets lots of love and attention during treatment and it's incredibly cost effective. If you have an older dog, I would highly recommend booking him in with Dr Stock for acupuncture and massage!

Theybhelped take care of me and my baby girl Sheba. She is getting better all thanks to their special care.

They even have a foundation called the Fozzy Fund where people can donate and it goes towarss those who can't afford a vet bill or medicine for their babies.

It really helped me the first time and its WELL worth a donation to the place.

I've been taking my dog here for two years now and have always been very happy with their service and prices. Front-end staff are friendly and helpful, their doctors are all knowledgable and thorough, and I definitely trust them with my dog-son. I also love that they open early in the morning and will trim my buddy's nails.

They always take great care of my dogs and the prices are mid range which really helps. They also don't pressure you for extras if you can't afford

Omg, they were so amazing. My poor kitty came down with a runny nose, sneezing and weeping eyes. Took her in the following day and they said it's just a virus. Pretty common, laid my fears to rest. Super easy, they weren't pushy about products or services like some vets. 100% would recommend

Awesome team, Dr Grant was so informative. He called when he said he would, he listened to my concerns, in a state that was nothing less than frantic after Mia our kitty was hit by a car and her pelvis broke. He explained so kindly my options even offering his personal opinions but yet stating benefits of other treatments. Thank you for taking such good care of my precious little buddy! Even the price was reasonable rest, and recovery!

They fit me in last minute and gave great care, appreciated it very much as we don't live in town. It is difficult to find a vet to treat hamsters!

I am very impressed with the service I have received with my dog, she had asperation pneumonia and Dr Higgins went above and beyond to help us.

Little hard with Covid restrictions, but my cat was healthy and I had a nice talk with the Doctor, all good to go for another year

I took my dog in a few days ago because his eye was swollen. The vet dismissed it and told me it was nothing to worry about, and gave him the vaccinations that were due. I ended up having to bring him to emergency later that night because the vaccinations exacerbated the actual problem: masticatory muscle myositis. I’m disappointed that no one noticed my dog was unable to open his mouth after receiving the vaccinations. It caused a delay in him receiving the medication he desperately needed.

Had our cat spayed here. We take our dog here as well. The employees are always super friendly, and honestly, joyful even.
They have helped us fix our dogs unexpected allergy problem that cropped up. He was in bad shape, however they were able to give him the medications, and other treatments to alleviate, and get rid of the problem. I would recommend this location for service, friendliness, and helpfulness.

Absolutely love this place, the staff are so kind and courteous and very knowledgeable. On numerous occasions they were very helpful which has built a great trust and a repeat customer for years to come.

Brought our kitten here to be neutered and it was a great experience. We really appreciated that they called us when he was out of surgery to let us know that he was doing good. Really great staff as well, everyone was super nice. Will definitely keep bringing him here in the future for all his vet check ups! Thank you

Over the years, this amazing clinic and their staff, have walked with my family and I, through the illness and eventual death of two hedgehogs. Their knowledge of exotic pets, compassion, and thoughtfulness, are equal to none. I highly recommend them.

We brought our cat Lou in because we feared he had a blockage/obstruction, they took X-rays and did blood work but claimed nothing showed, which for what was found inside him I understand why it was not seen but they kept him 3.5 days with no change and sent him home with no medication, they did not send his X-rays or blood work out for further evaluation to a specialist and completely missed what was wrong, They sent him home with him still not eating or drinking, and didn’t bother to check in until my hubby gave them a bad review based on our experience. We had to take him to another vet, we didn’t trust them after that. He received the best care and the new vet was able to find and remove the obstruction after getting a specialist’s opinion. They went and did the surgery, it was a 50/50 but they saved him, our little fighter had a long ordeal for 2 weeks. And most of it could have been prevented! We were suppose to hear from the owner of Deer Park but that has not happened yet!

All of the veterinarians, vet techs, and support staff at this clinic have only ever shown the highest level of care and concern for our companion animals. From a panleuk infection to cancer to dentals to "routine" procedures such as spays & neuters, we have never been disappointed, dismissed, or misled by any of the wonderful people at this clinic. We even go so far as to recommend this clinic in our adoption packages. Thank you all so much for the care you all take!

Very disappointed with my service this time. I have been taking my cats to this vet since I moved to Red Deer. I had a cat go missing and come back after two months! I took her in 2 times in 2 weeks for check ups and follow up.and both times I paid for a full exam (+ extras) but I’m sure it was not done! If it was it was not done thoroughly. They missed a huge infection in both her ears! The DR even said to me that her ears were good.so needless to say I have switched vets and will not look back.

I love the Vet. He is very personable. My family has been going to him for over 25 years and have nothing but great things to say about him. I have reptiles and he is very knowledgeable when it comes to them. I might add I find him much cheaper than any other vet, especially with my reptiles.

Dr. Higgins is so compassionate and knowledgable. He has been our only vet for 35 years. He is the best! Laser therapy saved our dog.

Bought a Schipperke puppy and even though it's a rare breed they had some experience and tested my puppy well who responded by being can and well behaved.
