Deer Valley Dental Care

I don't know what kind of cleaning they do but I have to go 3x and I'm not done with what suppose ot be just a "cleaning". On top of that my insurance claims is all used for the year and my renewal is June 2024. Manager called me but could not justify telling me that its my responsibility to know the charges. This has never happened to me using all my insurance. Be transparent and communicate with your clients when it comes to billing not ending up that it's my fault I should inquire first. But I have to go back 4th time just for one cleaning? Ridiculous waste of time and burned all my benefits! I could not justify that!

I had a great experience at Deer valley dental clinic, I would recommend Dr. Akkad to everyone who is looking for a professional dentist, honestly! Hats off to him for his expertise and knowledge of dental care.

The staff at Deer Valley dental were very welcoming, accommodating and kind. It was my first time here and from this experience, I would definitely go back. Dr. Dania took care of me and made me feel comfortable regarding my dental issue and when I had trouble later in the day they were able to squeeze me in for another checkup. Dr. Akkhad provided me with a thorough examination and, to my relief, informed me that I only had 4 cavities. His expertise and compassionate approach reassured me. I take good care of my teeth and am encouraged to keep doing this by the excellent attention I have always had at this clinic. I learned an even better care technique today from my dental hygienist Sue! I have been going to this clinic for 25 years and all the dentists who I have seen have been great and ALL the staff are friendly, efficient and capable.

The staff at Deer Valley Dental Care were patient and kind. I came with inflammation and a lot of pain, and they took good care of my mouth, listening to my concerns and proceeding with care. We are grateful for Deer Valley Dental for a few reasons like the accommodating hours of operation, the competitive prices, friendly staff. However we are very grateful for our dentist Dr Ammar. He's really genuine and has helped my husband and I through some unexpected dental emergencies. For me, he fixed my two front teeth as I had an unfortunate swimming accident at a young age. It is by far the best cosmetic front teeth I have ever had. I'm not embarrassed to smile after 30 years:)

Absolutely wonderful office! Cozy, inviting and I think I even saw massage chairs, the ladies at the front desk were friendly, kind and inviting and I even enjoyed a little chat with the front end staff, they got me in very quick even though I forgot my appointment time and had showed up early, the staff managed to work around it and squeeze me in so I could get to the other appointment I had booked, the dentists who worked on me were extremely personable, friendly and professional, couldn’t ask for more from a dental office or really any medical establishment, this place sets the bar high haha.

I’ve got really bad TMJ and can’t open my mouth wide and they still managed to make it an easy and comfortable experience, i had what I needed done within 30 minutes or so of walking in the door.

I was out of pain and a happy knowing air would hurt my tooth anymore, cannot praise this staff enough and office enough! Thanks again!

Wow! I had an emergency because my filling in my front tooth fell out. Deer valley dental care was the closest place who take emergencies and I was treated so amazing and felt very comfortable with Dr. Shaloo Gupta and Dental assistant Heidi! Great and welcoming and they fixed my chip on my other front tooth! Ill definitely be back i feel confident and happy now that they took such great care of me! Thnx again see u soon!

My 4 year old daughter got an injury (fell on her face) and obviously damaged her teeth. I called Deer Valley Dental Center and they were so calm and helpful. They got me in the same evening. From the moment we arrived; reception, the hygienist and the dentist were all so kind to me and my daughter. They totally put her at ease. I was happy with the level of care she received. It made a stressful tooth injury, totally bearable.

The worst experience ever! I went to the clinic in person & ask if my insurance covers the full checkup & cleaning and the answer was YES! So I took an appointment & after the checkup & all x-rays they ask me to sign a bill of $650 in case my insurance won't cover it. I don't recommend them at all.

I love Deer Valley Dental! The staff there are super friendly. My dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant treat me like gold. They go out of their way to make sure I'm comfortable. Fantastic dental office! I recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing dental family

Unfortunately, I won't return because of the Dentist I had who I felt was abnormally rough and rude. Thank goodness he had a great assistant or I would have walked out in mid-procedure. Also according to the Alberta dental fees, they charged above average pricing.

All the assistants I had (including Wendy and Gwen) are so compassionate and highly skilled.

Needed to get a chipped molar repaired, got me in quickly. Dr. Robertson and assistant Sue did a great job, very thorough with the examination, located another minor chip in an area I was feeling sensitivity, both chips fixed and I was on my way. Very pleased!

I have been going here for over a decade but never again!
I needed a new night guard because the bonding Dr. Dhanji had added behind my front teeth prevented the original guard from fitting. I was very specific about my needs with the guard but after 3 failed attempts at a new guard, Dr. D.still had no clue how to fix the problem. She refused to accept any responsibility for the movement of my teeth from the new guards, even though two other dentists in the clinic agreed that she was making the wrong type of guard.
I left numerous messages for the office manager to return my calls and left my work number with each call. When she eventually did return my call, it was to my answering machine at home during the time when she knew I would be at work. So much for an intelligent conversation. A few weeks later, she did call me at work, but it was to inform me that one of the dentists who agreed I had been given an incorrect guard, would not keep the appointment to make a new one for me because he did not know about any other kind of splint other than what I had been given by Dr. D. He did not know what I wanted.
I am now having to go to an orthodontist to have my teeth straightened. The inside of my upper lip gets pinched between two teeth that have moved. A lower front tooth is no longer viable.not sure if that will need an implant or a bridge but I'm sure it will not be cheap.
I would give the clinic 0 stars for their treatments over the past year. I guess the 1 star is for the massage chairs.

I am in the process of getting dental implants and have been very satisfied with the level of professional care that I have received not only from my Dentist, but from all of the staff as well. As the saying goes, team work makes the dream work.

Everyone was very pleasant and respectful to deal with. Dr Ammar took time to explain everything that was seen on xray as well as an action plan going forward. Very nice group of people.

I went to Deer Valley Dental Care fro the last more than 6yrs. The staff is very friendly. Their denatal hygienist, doctor, assistant and receptionist are great.
I used to go Dr Ali and Jaz the dental hygienist. Both are very experienced and always guided me for dental health from time to time. I highly appreciate their awesome services and recomand everyone to use the services of this amazing company for your dental treatment.

I have had great experiences with my previous dentist here. After his retirement, I saw a different dentist. I went in for some fillings and after freezing, told her that my face wasn't frozen at all and that I wasn't comfortable with her drilling into my tooth. She assured me that she did the right kind of freezing and proceeded to drill into the neck of my tooth. It was extremely painful, had me in tears and left me fearful of her continuing. It was unprofessional for her not to acknowledge my concerns and safety.

I'd been there previously for some urgent work and had good service. Took my son for a cleaning and he was very pleased with the hygenist he saw. I had called to say we were running a couple of minutes late and when we arrived 5 minutes late they didn't stress about it.

I am so happy my boyfriend recommended this place. Wow they did an absolutely amazing job. Explained everything so well and really went out of their way for me to have the best experience because we all know no ones likes getting dental work done. I really appreciate their work and fair prices! Highly recommend coming here!

All of the staff at Deer Valley dental care are exceptional. From the receptionist to the hygienists and dentists. I have been going here for a few years and have had excellent care for myself and my child. In fact my little daughter actually enjoys her visits. The hours are unbeatable. I would most definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Absolutely would not recommend. The dentist had me wait an hour as he was running late with another patient and then rushed my work so he could get back to the other patient. Went back to see if they could fix the damage done and they weren't able to. Be careful who you trust with your medical work!

So I am terrified of dentists since I was 13 and a dentist pulled a tooth and it wasn’t even frozen and told me To stop moving I was fine.and then got a wisdom tooth pulled a few mths ago and the tooth beside it cracked and I was in pain for a cpl mths.went to deer valley dental and dr ammar! I think his name is extracted 2 teeth and made me Soo comfortable. Def recommend this place everyone is soooo friendly and welcoming it’s a great great great office!

Top notch dental service and you get a massage while you wait for them to come get you. Just an extra bonus to make you relax before seeing a dentist.

I was in so much pain with a toothache my dentist was going to leave me with for a month. I had a severe infection and Dr Ammar sorted it out for me. The team have gone above and beyond to help me. I am so grateful to have found this dental office. I was very lucky not to end up in hospital with sepsis. Will be going here for future dental care. I highly recommend them!

My overall experience was so positive! When I first made my appointment Deer Valley Dental answered all my questions about cost and discussed what was necessary as I don’t have coverage. Once going into the appointment every one was very kind & accommodating. The hygienist was great with only doing what I needed done. She did an awesome job cleaning my teeth. My check up went really well. Dr. Grewal was so nice and replaced my filling same day so I didn’t have to come back. Fantastic Dental Office! Such a lovely place and people!

I really like this Dental Clinic because they are open 7 days a week and long hours during the week. They are also through and efficient in there service and when I go there I don't feel like time is wasted. Lastly they are not "pushy" here trying to sell you things or procedures you don't need. They just give you want you need and recommend the other stuff without high pressure sales!

Always great service from the second you book the appointment. Front staff are friendly and welcoming, dentists, hygienists and all other staff are wonderful, helpful and I always leave with a bigger smile
