Great place to stay and lose some cash. Some times it's a win. Music by Silly Rabbit amazing. Great food

Not a bad way to spend a few bucks while drinking with a few friends.
Next thing you know you're in an Uber with empty pockets and a smile on your face, I don't really remember but I had fun.

Only experienced casino and restaurant.
Carill was very friendly and attentive as a server in the pub.

The hotel and pool are good. The Mohave grill is awful. The hotel smelled like the dump in the hallways half the time, not sure if there is a dump around there? The location sucks unless you're industrial or want the casino. Nothing around (not even coffee shop or corner store).

Average casino, a little dated, service and food in restaurant was actually surprisingly good.

Casino is great, lots of options for gaming, and the Mojave Grill is excellent food and service. Their prime rib dinner is outstanding! Definitely recommend for a weekend out

Check in was easy! There was a conference going on in the main lobby. Parking upfront near lobby was tight bit there were tons of options further back. Casino is connected, they have a great pool/waterside area for kids. Restaurant is open till 9 pm, pool till 12 am, and Casino till your heart or wallet decides. Great location that is easy to find and close to many amenities. Would stay here again!

Sushi Lovers: A must try! The sushi martini bar: Sushi bar vibe with excellent service and sushi from Chef Tom.

Hospitality from all staff (Mojave grill casino chamber maids n front desk) all very pleasant and professional in their jobs

Went to wildhorse for supper lastnight. The food was great, the server was bubbly and on the ball. Thought I'd go there again tonight and it was horrible. The food was bad and the service was worse. Different girl of course. I even told the manager the ribs were tough and he just says sorry bout that.because of this one experience I'll never go back. I wish I could give a shout out the girl from lastnight, because she deserved the tip I gave her.

Went to the wild horse pub, we were the only people in there, and I ordered a chicken burger, but was given a beef burger with egg and raw bacon.
Manager came over and said they would take care of it and give us a discount. By the time the chicken burger was prepared the other person at my table was done, and the discount for inconvenience. $1.80.

Do not recommend.

1 star because I was told I couldn't wear a a hooded sweater hood up. Yet people can be fully covered due to religious reasons or wear massive hats.

Was awesome had fun won and definitely much better atmosphere than Cash and Elbow Casino's! They just take your money over and over and don't get a chance to play!

Clean, but it wasn’t busy at all. If you are looking for a place full of excitement, the advertisements tell you this is the place to be - but it was more like a seniors resort where nobody talked with each other.
The food was good, but they know their clientele well and that too was heavy on the salt.
I like that this is one of the casinos in Calgary that participates in the school and community group programs (there is a profit sharing scheme that happens when the groups volunteer)

Wonderful amenities, amazing staff, delicious food. I'd definitely recommend staying here! The water park is great for even small kids.

They changed their menu at the lounge call rocking horse I think.it's on the left hand side as you enter the main casino doors. It is a modern menu with a eastern flavor.not really impressed, liked the old menu better.

Good. Service had a good time allot different choice if you gamble the payout not what it use to be

Alcohol prices are pretty high, one of the female bartenders seem to treat women differently. Pleasant, but obviously not as much as they are to the men (just what I've noticed)

45 dollars for 5 ravioli and the stinky mini shrimp.
45 for a miniature fried avocado platter with sour cream dip.
Bedroom was decorated with super creepy heart shaped pillows at 340/ night.
Some crazy lady from Edmonton in town for 54-40 screamed and peed outside our window all night.
Restaurant staff and front desk staff argued and told me my blue stamp vs red stamp was wrong.
Until the desk chick looked it up.
For 1000 dollars for two nights, a deep fried platter and 5 ravioli.
My staycation got my man laid exactly no times.
The staff were mostly adorable.
The woman who delivered my microwaved ravioli was adorable and the aboriginals I got to meet outside were well worth the stay.

Oh boy this place was amazing! Had the traditional king bed room, had the seafood ravioli at the cactus lounge, and the breakfast burger at Mohave grill.

It was the best staycation I've ever had! Thanks guys for your amazing service

Room features are getting dated. Saturday night way too many people. Slot machines turned way down. Everything you want to visit is about a 30 minute drive on the deerfoot highway like malls, the zoo, science center, grandy road, heritage, downtown, museums, airport

What you looking for, gambling, drinks.they do both of them great but food is not their strength, and needs a lot of work.maybe not cook from frozen, and if it's not, it sure tastes like it.

Were a family of 6. Had 3 pillows in the room. No extra towels, pillows or blankets. The pool was busy and crowded. Kids were jumping over adults and hanging on everyone. Had breakfast at the hotel before leaving and it was terrible. Pancakes and waffles not cooked, meat and Hasbrowns were greasy.not impressed

Worst hotel ever with an unknown brand name. I regret booking this hotel through Expedia and will never return. The management at this hotel is dishonest and does not disclose full details to customers at the time of booking. They, via Expedia, advertise free breakfast to customers but there is no free breakfast in reality. I paid for my family of 4 when booking the room but was given breakfast allowance of $15 per person for ONE person only. Meaning, $15 for 4 to be used in hotel’s ridiculously expensive restaurant that sells one small glass of milk for $4. My family couldn’t not be fed and I had to pay outside for a proper breakfast. When I asked management for an increase in allowance, they refused and shifted blame to Expedia for inaccurate advertisement of free breakfast but really this hotel’s management is to blame for their ineptitude and fraudulent way of treating customers.

Great hotel the safe was very nice and the responded to our requests quickly. They have the best swimming area for kids of all ages.

I’m so disappointed and disgusted, we checked in aug 20 I should of known right from the beginning with there being old food in the fridge and crumbs all over the desk chair anyways on the 21 early evening we discovered bed bugs, they refused a refund but transferred us to a new room (next door) plus a room grade for our last night (jacuzzi suite) and assured us it wasn’t bed bugs, we still had our old room key however and a few hours later we checked the old room (we thought we forgot something) the old room was turned upside down getting treated for bugs …. Thought it wasn’t bed bugs? !? ! We then get charged more $$ for our second night (I guess it’s a more deluxe queen room, wich we didn’t ask for, just like we didn’t ask for bugs in our 1st room) anyways the front desk ladies were really nice and adjusted the price, so here we go last night in our upgraded jacuzzi suite, we finally settle in, check the mattresses, all good, we start the jacuzzi up and just as we get in the phone rings, it’s leaking! Underneath somehow threw the vents into someone’s room! So we can’t use it! So much for our upgrade so we get out and go to bed.a hour later 1245am two hotel staff knock on our door (as we’re sleeping, asking if we’re still using the tub, cuz the people below our getting wet! What a disgusting hotel … and no damn refund! So heads up I’m sure the entire hotel is crawling with bugs!

Not the best hotel in Calgary i can think of 20 more in a heartbeat. No complementary breakfast. Pool is small and always packed. And restaurant is severely overpriced for portions. Only good for older couples who like to party all night and not have too worry about a place to stay that night. Rooms are overpriced as well.

This place exceeded our expectations! The staff in all areas (both hotel and casino) were so pleasant and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was amazing! Had dinner at Mohave Restaurant located inside hotel, seemed a bit pricey at first glance but the quality and quantity of food was superb! Well worth it, would definitely eat there again. Room service the next morning was over the top delicious, the French toast was out of this world. Waffles were amazing, and the bacon cooked to perfection. Enjoyed some time in the casino, won a bit and got to share in the excitement of lady next to us winning $25,000 on a $2 spin! Woohoo! Had a wonderful visit overall!

We went for a night on a short staycation and we will go back once a month for sure. Bryce on the front desk was delightful, he made our stay wonderful. Everything was clean and it felt very safe there during covid, thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had booked a room here for the water park. After Alberta went back to Phase 1. We decided to bring our kids here to enjoy the water park and pool. We had an early check in to accommodate our pool time at 4 pm. Karen at the front desk was amazing. She was so friendly and very informative. She really went above and beyond to make our short stay the the best.

The hotel room was immaculate. Very clean and fair size for a family of 4. Had everything we needed.

The water park and pool was perfect for our girls. There was 2 hot tubs, kiddy area and a larger are with the water slide. The deepest part of the pool was 1.5 m. I saw staff a few times making sure the pool area was clean and bring out more clean towels. There was sanitizing spray and lots of towels.provided. I recommend bringing the family out here to support the local hotels. With the casino closed this is the only thing keeping the place going. The restaurants are closed as well but we just ordered skip the dish. We had a great family day here and will be back again in the future.

Very clean facilities, making the best of this new pandemic protocols with booking private time for guests in the pool/water slide facilities. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Love that it was dog friendly for our family stay-cation. Definitely worthwhile and lots of fun!

Lots of parking. Just off Deerfoot. Currently closed. Restaurant food is not the best but edible if you're hungry. Staff is good and casino is generally clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay, we were treated very well by all staff, great customer service and the pool with kids area is A+. Stayed midweek so it was less busy. The free bagged breakfast was a great add on and tasty as well-thank you for providing that! Will definitely consider staying here again.

Loved this place. Great rooms and friendly staff. Definitely need deeper pool at bottom of slide though.

Worst casino I've ever been too. Only good thing I can say about this place is that the staff in the Cafe was friendly. The food is not very good and outrageously priced for very little food. I'll never go back to this casino unless I'm literally forced to go in.

The staff was so friendly, could not be any more helpful and my kids really enjoyed the pool and waterslide. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would happily go back again for a little staycation.

Fantastic hotel. Loved my stay very fancy. Whent to the casino attached lost some money, had some drinks, room service was nice. Overall one of the best hotels ive stayed in.

Went there for our company Christmas party. It was a very nice event. The food was delicious and a wide variety of different items. The servers did a great job of looking after all of us.

I enjoyed my stay. Until i slipped & fell and hurt my wrist & when i told the front desk they just said we'll send someone to your room. 2 men arrive and plop a bag at my feet & say i don't know how we can halp just grab what u need from this bag? I needed a tensor bandage they didn't know what that was. Had to wait to get home n get the proper help. You'd think they'd be a lil more helpful since i got hurt there: (

Meh.not the best place i ever been. Waterslide was alright would have been better if the pool was deeper. Dont go down the slide head first. Casino is your usaual overatted cash grab.

NEGATIVE 5 IS WHAT IT SHOULD BE RATED! (Clearly it won't post unless you give it a star). I was with my daughter at the hotel on Friday. I fell asleep on the sofa and awoke on Saturday with huge itchy welts along my neck. I spoke with front desk staff who just said to get benylin from the vending machine. They had a cold & sinus one (which didn't work). I made a makeshift icepack with the ice bucket plastic & some ice to try to cool off the itching. By Sunday morning, my neck and left side of my throat was so swollen that I had trouble swallowing. We called a cab to go to the hospital. I showed the front desk & told them that room 321 had bed bugs. She thanked us & said they would check it out. At the hospital, the doctor said that I had a highly allergic reaction to the bug bites and was glad I came in before my whole throat closed up. When I contacted the manager, she said that they already checked & there were none on the bed. I explained that it was from the couch. When I arrived home from the hospital, she denied that they had any bugs & told my daughter that I probably got it from another property. I am disgusted by the way they have handled this but lucky that I went to the hospital. Even the hospital staff were appalled that they didn't even apologize. Thankfully I didn't go into any type of anaphylaxis shock. They need to put Benadryl in their vending machines or Claritin (since it's clearly a fix-yourself-&-we-won't-even-check-in-on-you-hotel). I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

About what you would expect for the reasonable rate. A typical three star experience. PROs: Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. CONs: We were on 1st floor at there was a lot of noise in the morning.

I have always had great experiences at this establishment. Today was different. Went to the Mohave Grill for breakfast. Waited for over 30 minutes from the time we placed our food order to the time it came, others had come, eaten, and left (only 2 of us at the table). When we did receive our food it was ice cold. We felt really bad for our waitress as she was great. We will not be back to the restaurant but will continue to use the other amenities.

Has anything you could need, pub area, bar, banquet rooms, and buffet. Good for events or just the visiting the casino. I watched live boxing here and it was delightful.

Decent place with good venues. Rooms are a tad pricey but staff are great and services are also good. The event rooms are a bit small but overall a decent Inn and Casino in the southern part of Calgary. Parking lot is always full so there’s a tell all tale that whatever they are doing here is working given many come here. Overall just under five stars given some of the pricing within the Inn and Casino.

Casino is stinky and smoky, dealers and security are unfriendly, belligerent and 100% racist in my experience. I will never return here and will advise you to avoid. There are much better casinos in Calgary.

Casino bar staff were great food was standard pub food but nothing special. If you are looking for a place to watch the flames game they had it on with audio.

We Like to go there early in the day simply because there are lots of options to play the slots. Once evening hits it's wall to wall reserved signs on a high % of popular games. These signs stay on machines hours at a time which means no revenue for the casino and limited opportunities for those who want to play. People come in and grab a bunch of reserve cards, put them on their favorite games and basically own 5 or 6 slot machines to play at their leisure. Dumb way to run a casino I think. Sure don't see that in any Nevada casino. Not sure why Deerfoot doesn't crack down on this obvious abuse.
