Deerfoot Meadows Medical Clinic

Yet another walk-in clinic not accepting walk ins. It is becoming impossible to get medical attention for non-emergencies in this country.

We have been accompanying an elderly family member to their appointments with Dr. Ayad and now for the first time Dr. DeGarcia. Both are excellent family physicians. The family member has been seeing Dr. Ayad for over 10 years and thinks the healthcare they have received is very good. Dr. Ayad is thorough, and has a good rapport with our family member. Our family member is elderly with quite a few health issues, and is a more complex case. I would not hesitate recommending this clinic to those looking for a family physician. The negative reviews posted do not match our experience at all.

Bad clinic with doctors only look for money not medical responsibility, don’t spend your time here if you need medical assistance in emergency

I have had a family doctor in the past. As some doctors do, he moved his practice. I was not going to follow to where he moved and was told that I could find another doctor as none of the doctors at this clinic were taking new patients. The other day I was struggling with a very inflamed leg and inquired with this clinic and they said they were taking new patients, so I booked a meet and greet. In meeting with the doctor, I was told I could not become a patient because I already have doctor. I do not currently have a doctor and I don't see why I should get turned away from healthcare and looking for a new doctor? I understand that he has the right to refuse any patient and maybe that is what it was. I was then told that I could still use them as a walk in. I am not looking for a place to walk in. I am a busy guy that would rather book a spot and put that in my calendar as to make my time count as well as not taking up walk in spots for people that are there, sick.not just me looking for a refill on a prescription or to check on a leg. This was really frustrating today and for that I do not recommend this place as your first choice for medical attention.

Dr.deGracia is the best doctor I've ever had; she takes all my concerns very seriously, is very knowledgeable, and I never feel rushed out of her office. The staff, including the pharmacist, are excellent. I'm very happy (and relieved!) to be a patient here.

I've been going to see Dr. Ayad for years, and my kids do as well.
He's friendly professional and knows his stuff.
He's found the answers to issues I've had in the past when other doctors couldn't.

I respect her because she takes time to hear her patients needs. I'm never disappointed. Dr Ma Rachelle DeGracia is a caring and supportive doctor and will ensure your health concerns are looked into and followed up on. The staff at this office are also very helpful and accommodating.

If you want to constantly come back for a prescription then be denied and told you have to make another appointment for it then your in luck! I have been denied twice now and been told to come back a third time for the same thing. I told the doctor I would simply just go to another doctors office for it as I need it today. He didn't care of course. I'll go somewhere else where I can get what I need, when it's needed. Apparently if you ask more than 1 question you'll just be given a snarky look and told "make another appointment" by the doctor. Nice

Edit: first time I got a requisition sheet to get an x-ray he didn't put down my name, his name or foot I needed xray. Literally a blank requisition. I should have made sure it was proper before I left but they also as well.
The second visit there I was give another requisition for a chest x-ray. He forgot to put CHEST x-ray on it so again, blank sheet that the diagnosis clinic had to call and get the proper info.
He also forgot my name, his name, and all my other information on the requisition as well. That's like your main job to do that, or tell your patient to see the receptionist for the sticker. I am actually kinda worried that this guy is a doctor. Doctor Hani Ayad. Never see him. He is scary bad.

To the comment from the clinic: how can my comments be untrue when the receptionists had to call you yesterday and ask what was supposed to be on the requisition? And I had to do it the first time? I'm not here to lie or for sympathy, but rather to educate others of how horrible said doctor is. You don't have to worry about me returning back there ever again,

Edit, Aug 22: this doctor never checked my right ear when I was there and turns out I have a major ear infection and if he had simply you know checked both ears like EVERY DOCTOR does, then I would have been on antibiotics last week when I saw him and not in severe pain misting days of work. This doctor knew I also was having problems breathing and instead of prescribing me another blue inhaler like I asked, he told me to come back Monday (Aug 22) and he would give me something better.instead of just giving me whatever it was right the and there. Keep in mind I went there on a Thursday and he wanted me to come back on the Monday (4 days away) what if I died? Seriously this doctor doesn't care about anyone's health, This doctor only cares about patients constantly returning so he can make money from the government off your visits.

The pharmacist and doctors were very helpful. Didn't have to wait very long and was in and out in under 30 minutes. Not too sure why there are many negative reviews as the many times I have been here were always courteous and quick

We asked very specifically, the cost of some forms. Was told to see what the dr says. We asked about how long of a wait. Was told 15-20 mins. Took an hour and a half. Rude Dr. Seriously unimpressed.

Rude and condescending receptionist. I *recieved* an urgent telephone call while waiting to see a doctor, and while obviously trying to keep it brief in quiet because I didn't want to miss my appointment, she couldn't wait a while minute before telling me "can't you see we have signs all over the place telling you to turn your cell phone off". Off? No silent, no text? I guess I'm supposed to be totally unreachable and stare at the wall for an hour.

They have two signs, amongst a clutter of dozens of advertisements.

The doctors are kind and knowledgeable. A couple of the front desk staff are quite rude though.

The staff are amazing, the service and expertise is top notch. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Needed help.called first thing in the morning, they gave me an appointment.
The appointment was on time and pleasant.
Great staff make this clinic easy to recommend and I will be back for sure.

I would give 10 star if possible. We attend this clinic for 10 plus years. We never though of wrting a review unfortounately! Because we were always well looked after, This clinic is basically how healthcare in Canada should be. And honestly, don't understand or care for the few whinners on here! Just appreciate the work from everyone here and go get a life! This loser attitude some people are showing here is utterly disrespectful and should not be allowed, Where are the many thousands, I am sure, whom have had noting but excellent health care here.

Terrible experience with a doctor, he shows no concern at all and paid $50 for his rudeness sitting for only 5mins. I think he’s the worst person I have ever met!

Best walk in clinic I’ve ever been too! The front desk staff are incredible, so friendly and helpful and willing to go above and beyond on behalf of the patients. The doctors are fantastic as well, I’ve never walked away feeling like I wasn’t heard or that I was rushed through the visit regardless of whether the patient was one of the kids or myself. I highly recommend this clinic if you find yourself in need of a walk in clinic!

First of all they should not accept me as walked-in when they dont have enough time. I was scared after getting a result from the bp machine by the walmart so i decided to walked in, since i'm feeling terrible this past 3 days. I feel so rushed when doctor Hani Ayad check out my bp and saying that my bp was okay. And i should not believe the one by the walmart. So i tried explaining things to him how i feel hoping that maybe he can help me. But he just SHOVE me off by saying he doesnt have time and just book an appointment to doctor de gracia which is my family doctor. "Doctor de gracia is kind tho". But that moment i feel like that he is irritated. And wants me to go and leave immidiately. Maybe his trying to accomodate as many as possible just for the records or statistics. But no please do not come in to this place. He is terrible.

What is the point in saying you accommodate walk-in patients if you never schedule enough doctors to accommodate more than just appointments. Very disappointed. I also have felt the times I have come here that it was very impersonal, they take you in and see you for 2 minutes just to rush you out and wait for you to leave the room before they do. I have never been to another clinic that the doctor doesn’t leave first so I can leave the room in my own time.

One time I had an appointment at 10am when the clinic opened, the doctor wasn’t even working! He didn’t show up to work until 10: 45am, which is extremely unprofessional.

Great place. I think every reviewer here should think before they start bashing on doctors and their staff.some people are really nasty here even after they got the help. I find this clinic very clean, organized, helpful and pleasant. They get the job done and have helped me and my family for over 10 years.so please show them some support and respect.too bad only the ones with personality issues go on here to leave bad reviews thus misleading everyone else. I am sure they have literally thousands of satisfied patients to share their stories here but not many do! Thank you doctors and staff of deerfoot meadows clinic.we appreciate you!

Bad communication between doctor and nurses. I was forgotten in the exam room for 30mins!
No information was given to me about the prescription, ei: side effects, etc. Was given an antibioticFilled out the wrong date on the prescription, causing issues when I went to fill it.

Terrible. Dismissed after being seen for less than 60 seconds. Clearly have no interest in actually helping anyone, just churn through as many people as fast as possible.
