I am a student, I asked them to transfer my account to the student account, they told me we can't, although they did before /4/ every four months there was an employee who changed my account to a student account, and when you went to a non-employee, she said to me we can't change something, I left her and went to the employee who was doing it, and then the employee came and talked to him, I don't know what she said to him, and then the employee said to me, I can't help, why are they treating us like this, please pay attention
Absolutely one of the best places to get your art and drafting supplies in edmonton. Prices are reasonable although sometimes the staff are a bit elusive and unhelpful and it may be necessary to hunt people down as there are no prices listed at all.
Delta was one of my favourite places to buy my art supplies. Very disappointed they didn’t honour the price that was posted for their sale. I was informed it was a typo and they’re bound to make mistakes when entering 30,000 items, I’m out of luck. If they had called and informed me, I wouldn’t have drove from Calgary to pick up my order.
Called today to check stock availability and spoke with Anja. They were super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and really brightened my day! This store has a huge selection of supplies, great prices, and awesome staff.
I always try to stop here when I am in Edmonton. They have a TON of variety of great quality art supplies, far beyond any other store I've ever been to. Excellent knowledgeable service. Well organized. Absolutely love the Williamsburg oil paints, they have the whole collection. Had a great stock of Raymar panels, which I love. My favorite has to be the brush selection though. I've never seen so many different types of brushes! Thank you!
I can’t say enough nice things about this beautiful place. The staff are friendly and helpful, the selection is top notch. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for fine art supplies
I mean, it was a smaller art store, but that meant the store employee's new what they had and did have immediately on hand. They were knowledgeable and gave me great advice on my art project, and I left knowing more than when I went in.
Even though I live on Vancouver Island, I purchase many of my art supplies from Delta Art in Alberta. This is due to them having items I can’t find locally or from closer online stores. Additionally their website is easy to navigate to find exactly what I’m looking for.
Delta’s inventory is extensive, they often have supplies like spray paint or brands I can’t find at Opus online or Michael’s. The main reason I utilized them however, was to purchase a large drafting table with drawers. I count find one anywhere. They had a great sale at the time, so I took the plunge. It was still really expensive, but it’s a quality cabinet. The staff were very helpful answering all my questions. The cabinet was delivered in a timely manner without any damage. One of the drawers was bowed (from the manufacturer) and a handle that was unusable. When I informed the staff at Delta I was immediately sent replacement parts and now it’s perfect. I highly recommend them.
Such a great store! I can’t say enough about how amazing the service was. The staff really knew their stuff and they carry such a large selection. Will be my go to place for brushes from now on.
They do not carry a lot of supplies for those been trained old school by masters in there craft and art not many of us masters around and things have changed so much in the arts p
This was one of the most amazing experiences ever. I swear it was like receiving a free painting lesson in oils. I am just beginning and the knowledge they shared to help me on my journey was worth more than the order I picked up.so thank you for helping the little guys that are just starting.
This was my first time shopping here. I didn't even know they existed. It's tucked away in a very vehicle-centric location, which is a bummer.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, to the point of being a "bit much". The store itself is small and feels a bit cramped and the organization/layout of the store was a bit confusing. The price labelling on their shelves was fairly confusing and I think it would just be better if they individually priced each product. However, they stock quality products that are priced fairly.
This is, obviously, just my opinion as someone who is very introverted and prefers to be able to shop with as little assistance as possible. I imagine it's a great shop for more extroverted people and people who know their craft well (I do not).
There was an amazing selection of art products here. The staff were also kind and accommodating. The products were also of high-quality so they were worth the buy. The prices are reasonable. You can take your time choosing the right art supply for your hobby, job or passion. The staff were understanding enough if you have lots of inquiries regarding their products.
I checked online to make sure the two things I needed were in stock, before driving all the way down. When I got there I couldn't find either, no one offered to help, but when I tracked down someone to help me they were extremely knowledgeable on the topic, friendly, and helpful. But both things I needed were out of stock (even though they said they had them online). Disappointing, but I decided to buy a pen to make the gas worth it - got to the till and they said cash only (who still carry's cash?).
On a different visit, there was a man who helped me (who's either in charge or thinks he is) and he was extremely condescending and rude. However! I will admit the prices here are better than any other art store - but the service you get is unpredictable and their website is extremely antiquated.
