Delta Hotels by Marriott Edmonton South Conference Centre

The conference room that I was in for the morning was hotter than hell.

I didn't stay in the hotel so I can't speak to that aspect.

The staff at the front desk is top notch, but it's Jenny at the bar who separates this site from the rest of the Bonvoy hotels I stay at.

Had a wonderful business meeting. The only negative was the sandwiches/buns for our bagged lunch. Very dry as that was no or very minimal butter or mayonnaise. Could use an extra least of two of lettuce as well. Otherwise, all good

I'd give zero stars if possible. We have travelled far and wide and this was the worst hotel experience. Roadside motels are better than this.

The AC kept making weird noises. We changed the room in the middle of night but same thing in the other room. One room had electric kettle the other didn't. They started to change locks Saturday morning at 8am. That was the only day we could sleep in. Not everyone is traveling for excursion. Neither side plugs worked so I had to drag one of the tables and oh my. It was like nobody has ever thought of vacuuming around the bed. Also, I don't know who gave the idea of having a power shower sort of tap. Washing hands was a pain. We had to do in the bath tub because it was just impossible with water splashing everywhere on the sink.

Terrible terrible hotel. Avoid at all cost. I wouldn't go there even if they were offering free nights.

Very good! Spacious comfortable and great service. Location lends to traffic noise but didn't disturb sleep. Would stay here again

This Hotel has class. They continue to gratuitously open an area in the restaurant for events at no cost. They like to fill the seats while the staff takes some meal and drink orders. The event takes place and the restauraunt makes some revenue. WIN, WIN for both parties.
I highly recomend the Delta Hotel for your event planning go to place. Stacey, who is an event coordinator, is very accommodating.

Clean room.
However, very disappointed as there was a party of some kind on the 11th room. We were on the 9th floor. 11: 00pm loud banging music. Could not sleep.

Good and Bad experience. 1st. Bad. Wedding on the 11th Floor and we had a room right Below on Floor 8 the Dancing and Music was so loud all nite.ask first before booking this Hotel if there is a Wedding on a Friday nite.now The good.amazing Rooms King size bed and Pillows so comfy.big size TV and Ocean sounds machine on bed side. Perfect. 2nd. Great food in the restaurant Dinner that nite and Breakfast the next morning Amazing. They bought our Breakfast the next morning cause of the complaint. All the staff was amazing

I'd like to dedicate this review to Jeane. She helped me for a very long time today, trying to organize a large number of reservations I made for some out of town guests. Jeane was VERY patient and helpful to say the least. Without her, I would have been very stressed out the day of our check in.

The hotel is falling apart from outside and it reflects during your stay. The interior has been done up nicely, but when you're 9 storeys up and you feel like you've got your ear against the end of an exhaust pipe, it shows how poorly the building has been maintained.

The primary reason I go to the hotel is to get a good nights sleep versus crashing on a couch, and honestly we should have chosen the couch. The bed was also hard as rocks to the point my back was sore in the morning. Only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 is because the interior is nicely finished.

This hotel is not up to the quality we're accustomed to for the other Delta Hotels we're stayed at. On a hole I would recommend Delta hotels as they're normal fantastic but this one is incredibly sub-par

I have attended numerous events from weddings to holiday parties to general conferences here over the years and every single one has been perfect. Staff are always very friendly, professional, and willing to help in any way they can. Food is always superb. Such a great space and a lovely team.

Great place to stay! Enjoyed the Aurora dining experience. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. When I visit Edmonton on business, this is where I like to stay!

Sister had her wedding there. Great staff and service. Every concern was addressed in a very timely manner. Very impressed

Beds were really nice.some rooms had microwaves, not all. There was also am event the one evening there which left little to no parking for those paying for rooms.

Stayed two nights only a company trip.despite having a printed confirmation with my name on it they couldn't find my booking.we have to share rooms with other consultants so they somehow only had their name on the reservation. I was kind of made to feel like I was producing a fake confirmation.not sure why my printed out version with my name on it wasn't correct.they allowed me to go to my room anyway. The pool experience was odd.there was a girl giving swimming lessons and it was messy and covered in toys. At check out the girl was kind of rude to me when I asked when the 50 dollar charge would be reversed to my credit card. I don't stay in many hotels so I am not aware of the process.she made me feel dumb

Excellent service, room is very clean, quiet, i ask the housekeeper for the small pillow and they gave me right away so Five Star to all housekeeper on 7th floor, i lost my hotel card, went to front desk, Lucila ask for my id, she recognized my birthday is last week and she gave me a snack and thats an fabulous service, like simple gesture but make a lot of difference of the customer presence so thats a Five Star.
Five Star to the couple filipino in the restaurant for the excellent sevice on our breakfast 06/15 around 10sh. Food is delicious as well.
Will definitely comeback on our next stay.

Didn’t even book a room after what I saw! I looked at 3 rooms and the standard prices. I then switched the rate to government/military (as that applied to us) to see how much we would save. The rates for Government employees came down but the “special rate” for military went up! Higher than what the standard rate was! I thought something must have glitched so I backed out and started fresh.same results. To say I’m disappointed that this hotel would do this is an understatement.

Best hotel experience I have had in Edmonton. Great value and even better service.

Only stayed overnight, so didn't really get to know this hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly.

This is a great central meeting place in Edmonton, and they host numerous fun events over the year including Robust Reds wine tasting, a rum tasting that I believe is Edmonton’s only, and a variety of scotch and whiskey tastings. Great choice of hotel for business travel or a weekend getaway.

Check in was speedy and professional. Hotel was very clean. The room was clean and the bedding was also clean and fresh. Most Delta's have great mattresses, and this was no exception. The pillows were a bit too firm, but they will bring you softer ones if you ask. We were too tired to do that so late at night. The hotel bar staff (Jennifer & Courtney) were amazing, even when unexpectedly flooded with convention attendees.

I would give the hotel five stars, but the traffic noise was pretty intense, even on the 11th floor, due to the locating at the intersection of two main roads.

Spectacular reception for wedding.

My wife stayed here for a few days for a veterinary technician seminar. Rooms were very nice snd clean. Conference center is nicely set up. Tons of free parking and felt safe leaving car. Easy on and off from high way coming into Edmonton from south. Easy onto major freeway that can take you all the way around city. Prices were ok for what you get. Would come back again for leisure.

Horrible ventilation. Non existent heating! Room service sandwich was pretty good. Staff were helpful.

The service, the beds and the restaurant. All very very good. The front desk team is one of the best I've encountered anywhere in the world. Keep up the great work guys.

Great place to stay, food at the restaurant is great! Great Sunday Brunch as well. Thermostat was not working in my Mother's room so the staff came up and fixed the interior fan system for her as soon as she had called down.

Clean rooms and housekeeping even left us goodies!

Attended a conference at this location and the facility offered multiple rooms (some large, some small) so this was an ideal location. Free parking! Great location since it is immediately accessible from the Whitemud and Gateway.

Super comfy beds and pillows. Quiet hallways. The staff have always been super accommodating, professional and courteous.

Stayed for a conference, what stood out was the high level quality of customer service from staff - from helping me when I forgot items in my room to a warm, hospitable check out/send off with a surprise package of cheese, crackers, fruit and juice, much appreciated for my long drive home. Many thanks Lucy for assisting me bring my conference items and luggage to my car!

Only things would improve would be providing more sound insulation and ear plugs for my room which faced the busy high way, and despite the heater bring loud, the room temperature felt like it took a long time to warm up.

Yeah the photos on their hotel account is extremely misleading. It's the first Hotel I've ever been at where there is not buffet. Everything looks and feels like they cut costs.

Will i stay here again. NOPE!

Went for a conference staff was friendly service good. It's a bit run down some locks need repair in the ladies room. There isn't enough parking and no elevator to the parking levels.

Came here for a wedding, my room was pristine and comfortable, got to see the bridal sweet which was stunning! The catering at the reception was great, and they accommodated for some guests dietary restrictions! The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful!

Nice clean hotel, stayed for a dance competition. In the hotel were also older (teen) hockey teams, as a result they were wondering the halls making a bunch of noise until close to midnight. Also it's close to two major freeways, which was also noisy, depending which way your room faces.

No continental breakfast. Was not advised of this. Stains on walls, cracks in tiles, divets in tub. Heated underground parking is convenient but not accessible by elivator and majority of spots are reserved by BioWare? Staff are very friendly and courteous.
