I have been going to this location for years. Danial is a really skilled barber, and very easy to talk to! In general, there is a friendly atmosphere here.

I went to Daniel today and it was my first time and i had an amazing experience and he’s a great worker and talkative guy with a good humour, and for sure i will be coming back next time.

Walked in for the first time just to see if they had time to give me a haircut. The barber was pleasant, took his time and gave me an awesome haircut.

Al did a fantastic job. The value for money is excellent and I will definitely call and ask for him specifically the next time I need a cut.

For my husband's birthday, I got him a full treatment, OMG, Al did such a great job for him, he shed a few years, a great group of staff there, please go see them in Crowfoot.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a shop. I got home and immediately broke down sobbing, all I asked for was a small trim on the top maybe about a inch and now I have to go to school for PICTURES looking like I’m 7. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I’m never coming back and now I’m stuck looking like a child for pictures. The barbers are incredible people but for gods sake listen to people. I can’t even look at myself without crying now, I’ve never hated myself but honestly right now this is the worst I’ve ever felt. I’m not saying don’t come to this store but if you do make sure your incredibly clear otherwise they mess up your hair. 0/10 never going again

Had the pleasure of having Daniel as my barber for today. He was very professional from start to finish. He asked me what I wanted and liked and never cut too much off at a time to make sure it was the look I wanted. 100% recommend Daniel to anyone.

We have taken our son to this shop numerous times over the years and have always been impressed. This past week we took him there to get his hair trimmed after growing it out for the past several months. He was so proud of his long, wavy hair and asked the barber only to fade the sides and not touch the top. Instead the man shaved the sides and cut some off the top. My son was absolutely devastated when he saw so much of his hair gone and I was the worst parent of the year for not being in there to watch what was going on. After calming my son taking him home, I called the store to express my disappointment. Within 15 minutes I received a call from the owner and I was amazed at his response and how professionally he dealt with the matter. It completely renewed my faith in good business practices and secured our loyalty to his store. Accidents happen all the time and people make mistakes. How they are dealt with is what matters most. Thank you Adam for being so terrific to work with.

Now, for the 2nd time, I have to walk around with a bad haircut because the lady, to whom I explained in detail how I wanted my haircut, completely ignored my instructions.

Before the lockdown, there used to work a Jamaican fellow there who was spot on every time, but after they re-opened, he was gone and it went down hill badly.

The first attempt was bad, but I thought, it was a bad apple and I will give it another go. This time it was even worse.

I am a strong believer in 2nd chances, but this experience was beyond dreadful.

I noticed in the barbershop, that I did not get the cut I asked for, but I thought, I will let it slide and even tipped the lady who cut my hair. But after getting home and taking a shower, I could see the full extent of the incompetence unleashed on my head.

Even if I put aside the fact, that the haircut I got was not the haircut I asked for, the number of mistakes is impossible to ignore. 36 good dollars paid for hair butchering.

Needless to say, this was my last brave endeavour, and I will avoid this place like the plague in the future.

I have been a barber with Denim&Smith for the past two years and a practicing licensed barber/stylist for over 10 years. I always strive to make a personal connection with my clients and provide them top quality haircuts which they are thrilled with and return back to see me. However I have decided to resign from this company to pursue opportunities better suited to me. But I wanted to express how all the barbers I have worked with there should, and do work at a very high caliber and perform excellent work. Furthermore, the management is amazing at giving valued cuts and ensuring every customer is happy particularly if they are not please with a haircut. I wish all my former clients the best wishes and I will miss working the team and under the Denim&Smith management.

Not great.one of the few times I've been unhappy with a haircut in my life (not picky). Something is just off about it. Staff is friendly and the place is nice however, I can only write on my experience with a single barber there and it would be unfair to rate lower because it may have been an off day for this person and the other barbers may be quite skilled.

Went here today and I wanna say a huge thanks to Peter who did an awesome job for my 3-year old boy! I'm beyond satisfied! Will definitely come back again here soon!

Peter and mark are the best barbers we have ever experienced! We have never received haircuts like the ones they give, and they kind and friendly. We will never go anywhere else for as long as we live in Calgary. I’d rate this place 11/10

This place has become a shell of its former self a couple of years ago. I come here with my child on a consistent basis and the last couple experiences have been absolutely terrible.

I was a long time customer but honestly will take my money elsewhere now. Would love to know where Huong or Gabby left to?

I had a great experience here. The vibe of the place is chill and the woman who cut my hair was very experienced. My hair is awful to cut, double crown and very thick, so an experienced barber/stylist is a must, or ill look like a stylish mop.

Lana is the woman who cut my hair, and I really appreciate how she took the time to talk about style and technique with me. 10/10 recommend.

Just terrible. Used to be my favourite place to actually get a real hair cut then the owners took over fired all the real talent starts hiring lord knows what seems to be just friends that cant cut out a cardboard box back to the gym chicken legs

If you like your hair and want anything but a buzz, do not go here. I asked for the lower half of my back and sides trimming, I pointed to how far I wanted him to trim (half way up). I've ended up leaving looking like an Ice Gem, the guy shaved all the way up to the crown of my head, I look ridiculous and I'm pretty devastated.

Received possibly the worst haircut to date here, I had the older lady who looked like she didn't know what she was doing! Kept making suggestions and confusing me. My usual boy Huong no longer works here? Usually I can just sit down and tell someone what I want and it gets done and they are pretty clear about something if it can't work or they can't do what I want.

My fade is super wack and I can see literal steps in it.yall need to get some better barbers or get Huong back or at least tell me where he went. I walk in and I don't recognize anyone in the shop anymore and me an my dad have been customers since the joint opened.

THE HAIR CUT WAS THE WORST I EVER HAD

Two lossy employees, I stepped into the shop and both of them were playing on their phones, none of them stood up to welcome me or something, until i asked them “are you guys working here? ”

Combs were not clean nor sterilizer.

The other employee kept playing PUBG

Skilledless and unattentive barbers. Would rather be on their phones than deal with customers. I get better service and a haircut at magic cuts then this BS at half the cost.

Got a haircut here this morning, nice enough shop and clean. The barber wasnt very good. Younger guy with a beard and long hair, offered suggestions pertaining to my hair that sounded great but execution wasnt there. Came home tonight and washed it and it was very choppy and uneven.

I guess product hides the imperfections long enough to get the job done. Would not come back even if it was free

I don’t normally leave reviews but in this case, I felt I had to. I came to this shop 3 months ago in a bind and needed a quick cut before my flight. The shop was filthy, unorganized and looked like it was just run down. I got Ayman who made it a point to tell me that he was just closing up and how he ‘as the boss’ shouldn’t have to stay past close’!? !? WTF? He was very rude and un-talkative, kept picking up his phone and flat out ignored everything I said and butchered my hair! I said I would never come back. Fortunately last week, I was in a bind again and headed to the airport AGAIN and had no choice but to stop in as it’s right by my house. WOW The place looked GREAT. Clean and homely, I got Adam, he was such a great professional kid and pleasant to chat with and my haircut was amazing. The SECOND best part about my experience was when I asked about Ayman, they said he was long gone! The best part is, I got the cut I wanted and found myself a great barber only minutes away from my house. Thanks Adam, see ya in a few weeks kid!

It's alright, totally depends on who you get. Can be very hit or miss. Some of the barbers are great and actually give a damn, some couldn't care less. I have had several cuts done here and the quality reflects that mentality.
