The haircut is not presentable and i dont like my haircut to day hopefully next time do their job nicely.

Loved the service! The people and the owner are just as great! This is definitely my new regular spot, I won’t be going to any other services for my hair care! Loved how the environment feels so family friendly!

I go here every 3 weeks to get my hair done by Moe! Best haircut you can get and a very good place to go if your looking for attention to detail!

This place is not a friendly atmosphere to get your hair cut, it isn’t all the workers such as a friendly redhead, and a very friendly filipino man, but the other have made the shop extremely harsh and unwelcoming, with not only how they greet and talk to their customers, but how they present themselves with the constant slouching against walls or sitting on chairs at the desk and just carrying on with utter nonsense in a completely unprofessional manner, i will not be coming back to this location again nor will i be bringing my family here or recommending this shop to anyone of my friends or family

The shop is clean and the barbers are very friendly and talented. Moe set me up with a sick fade on my last visit.

I'm sorry but this is an honest review, the quality of cuts have drastically deteriorated and from my most recent experience with these people and their skills I will no longer come to this place.

Moe did a excellent cut. Moved to Calgary 2 years ago.took 2 years to find Moe. He will make sure your satisfied. And leave with the cut you wanted! I highly recommended this barber shop. (I’m very picky)

I had a very good experience with a barber named Ali, he was very nice and gave me the exact haircut I wanted with nothing wrong. Amazing service and amazing cuts.

Covid protocols were good, I felt safe for the amount of time I was there.

Good quality haircut, I was asked for what I wanted and we worked from there. Made an appt the previous day.

In my view maybe a touch on the expensive side but I'd still go back.

I went to get a haircut cause a few months ago i really liked how it went, but this time the guy did what he wanted i asked him to cut just with scissors and he ended up cutting it with the trim and sooo short, thats why i asked it with scissors, besides that he made me a line on my head without asking and he made my forhead bigger, without asking again, he even charge me 7 bugs less cuz the “ missunderstanding”, i didnt want him to feel bad so i didn’t say anything but by the time my friends told me it was a really bad done i decided to write this comment, anyways, the only thing left is to laugh for a few months until the hair grows but im pretty sure im not coming back again.

Have got my haircut here a few times now. I have always liked the cut and will be back. Worse part is walking through the mall.watch yo back. You might get more than some hair 'cut'

Joyce is my girl. Hard to find a good hairdresser so when I do, I tend to stick with her (regardless of the chirps I get while in the chair)
Seriously though, she's awesome and I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good chat, a good cut and not wanting to break the bank. Really though, how does a guys cut cost more than $30!?

I've been going here since I moved to the area about 2 years ago. The staff is wonderful; great conversation, lots of laughs and very friendly. I highly recommend going if you are looking for high quality work. They treat you like family. Thanks again to the staff, especially Jig for making me look and feel great.

Jig has been cutting my hair for a couple years now and does a great job! The staff here is always kind and accommodating. Jig and I always have great conversations and he spends the necessary time to assure my hair is looking clean and proper before I'm out of the chair! Grateful for his services every time! Thank you!

I love coming to this barbershop, definitely the best in town. I always feel confident about my haircut after walking out of here, especially when Jig does my cut. On dec Dec 18,2019. I got a very specific haircut, shaved under and all around, long on top. The ladie (cant remember her name) I had do my hair she made me feel good, the style i wanted she did a great job and a very nice person to talk to, then shampoo with peppermint shampoo, and she recommended peppermint oil for headaches also. Would definitely go back there again.

Great place to get a haircut. Always consistent. Staff is nice and the wait, if any is never too long. They have screens to watch while you get a cut which is a nice bonus.

I decided to give this place a shot and it exceeded my expectations. Got a great fade from Joyce, i will defiantly come back.

I got my haircut by Jig. Ive been going to him for a couple months now and hes given me the best haircuts of my life. The amount of effort and care he puts in is amazing. I would definately recommend him to anybody but particularily to young men who are looking for a dope fade.

They usually do a good job. The price isn't that bad either. $30 for a mens cut, which is all they do, ladies will have to go to a salon

I have been coming here for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier! The cuts are consistently good and, despite the mall itself needing a bit of an update, the Denim & Smith space is modern and inviting. Special thanks to Joyce for being both highly skilled and one of the most pleasant people you will ever meet. Even if this review sends a bunch more people her way, I will be more than happy to pull up a seat and wait my turn.:)

Hina is fantastic! We have struggled for over a year to get our 3 year old to sit for a hair cut, but Hina managed to pull off a great cut with no yelling! Then she did an awesome cut - and wash! - on our big boy too.she even tracked us down in the food court to return a forgotten jacket. Super impressed.

On Thursday, Jan 17, I had my haircut done here by Kendra and it was a very good experience. The place had a very welcoming and comfortable air, but Kendra herself was amazing with her skills. I not only found her to be highly intelligent, but also an immensely sweet and graceful person. Looking forward to be back soon.

Wonderful team, I’ve been here a few times and it’s always a different stylist and they always do a fantastic job, pleasant to talk to and very professional. I’ve had Alita, Cowen, Michelle, and Stefanie cut my hair so far and I’m always happy with the service they provide. Looking forward to try the other stylists next time.

I have received praises with the hairstyle that I have been sporting lately. It always feels good to look good. It's my third time already in three months. This is all because of Jig's skill and expertise. He is just superb and amazing on what he does. Very meticulous, careful and precise. This place is excellent for haircuts and they have excellent staffs as well. I recommend Jig for he is attention to detail, accurate and an entertaining hair-cutter. His haircut makes me confident every time. A big thumbs up!

Don't waste your money at a salon. Been going to salons for years thinking the premium I'm paying for translates into a better cut - it doesn't! Jig is awesome and provides a service you'd expect at a high end salon - he's super meticulous and makes sure every detail is perfect before sending you on your way; clearly cares about his job and making sure his clients walk out 100% satisfied. Shout out to Cowen as well (I believe that's her name - the girl with the station right next to Jig) - she does a really great job too.

I was overall very happy bringing my business here as it is very close to home. They offer complementary neck cleanings for regulars. I came in 10 minutes to 5pm one Sunday to get my neck cleaned up, and there were 4 employees standing around at the front with the screen door half open. I asked for a neck trim, and they told me they were closed, even though the mall was still open. I was very disappointed as 4 employees were standing around doing nothing, with 10 minutes left in their shifts, and they rejected a client for something that would have taken them less than 3 minutes. That's a great way to lose customers. I have found a new place close to home with better customer service.

Jig, the Asian dude with glasses, cuts my hair perfectly every time. He does those little extras and is intuitive to your hair type and proportions to make you look great. I used to always feel self-conscious after getting my hair cut, but with Jig I always walk away feeling like I look like a million bucks.

Don’t bother spending money at fancy salons and pay out the arse. Denim and Smith is awesome and this location has some of the best stylists. Jig is one of my favs and hopefully will be working for when I need my next cut. Check this place out.you won’t be disappointed.

Joyce and Jig are the ones I have gotten my hair cut with. They are fantastic and very well educated. I am comfortable and confident in their skills to give me a cut that's exactly as I envisioned it. I always recommend people to come to this shop!

Want a salon quality haircut at “mall barberhop” prices? See Jig at the Westbook location. This guy is all about details. He saw me a couple of times like 6-8 months ago and then again today and he just about remembered everything I had previously told him about how I like my hair cut.

I used to go to a “high end” place (with the associated pricing) and started coming over to Denim and Smith out of convenience more than anything else, but with Jig I get the best of both worlds.

He really should have his own place but until word gets out, I suggest you take full advantage of the situation.
