If anyone wants a professional haircut. Ask for Alex. He is the original barber/hairstylist before Deerfoot city was renovated and has many years of experience and I highly recommend him. He also did an amazing job of my daughters hair when she was doing a photo shoot for her dance studio.

Not only are the haircuts flawless, all the employees are friendly and respectful. The shop is very clean and kid friendly as well

First time coming here and this place exceeded expectations! Sam was more than amazing and the staff was very friendly! They treat you like family and make you feel very comfortable as soon as you enter. This is definitely my new place to go for bread trims!

I was very surprised with such trendy and clean barbershop. My kid loves his new haircut. I would recommend this place to everyone, it worths the drive. They also provide free drinks which is very nice.

Went in last minute. Dave helped me out was looking pretty rough and did a great job probably my best experience with a barber so 10/10 would recommend trying him out. Thanks again guys. (Also helped me pick out some proper products that I requested)

Brought my kids here for cuts and Karim was amazing. He definitely went above and beyond and my kids looked and felt great! Price for kids cuts is reasonable. Will be back!

Update, just got back from school up in northern Alberta. Needed a hair cut and beard trim as it has been months since my last cut. Mazz did an amazing job, trimming and outlining my beard. Again a great place to get a haircut, with awesome friendly staff. 5 stars

Had a great experience with Cindy. Gave me a great fade and was very meticulous and sensitive to my recently damaged hair. It is pricey for womens haircut $50 especially for short hair, but the shop is clean, staff is very friendly and great service. If you are looking to splurge once in while and get pampered, this could be the place for you

My daughter and I have been coming to see Assala at Denim & Smith since they opened over 2 years ago. Yes, I said daughter…Assala may be an owner of a great barber franchise, but she’s also a professional hairstylist (check out their postings on IG to see what I mean). We have never had a bad cut/style. I always get compliments on my haircuts and shaves. My daughter who’s now 12 always gets excited to spend time with Assala on new cuts and styles. If you are looking for a professional and enjoyable experience I highly recommend the Denim & Smith team at Deerfoot City!

Great experience. I came in with reference photos and Cindy did a great job at asking questions for clarification and talking about how the cut would look on me with the length I already had and how it would look as it was growing in later on. I was nervous going into get cut by someone new but she did an exceptional job. The haircut I decided to get is a bit experimental for me and I love it! Thanks guys

Assala hands down has to be the greatest barber I have ever seen. She has the hands of an artist I love the new beard fade. I would highly recommend her for a hair cut, never had a cleaner lineup in my life thank you so much

Assala is the best stylist in Calgary! I went to the salon scared of someone touching my hair since my hair has been falling out. She made me feel so comfortable and made sure that I was taken care of. She knows what she’s doing & provides the best service. The place was clean and everyone was so nice to deal with. I moved to Calgary last fall, and I put off finding a hairstylist because I was too nervous to trust someone new with my wavy-curly hair (I started embracing my natural hair last year so it's still a work in progress). I waited until I went back to Toronto for the holidays to get my haircut with the Curl Ambassadors. A few months ago, I was referred to Assala by my roommate who had recently become a client of hers. She mentioned to me that Assala herself had curly hair so I could trust her. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made recommendations that I was still comfortable with. She also introduced me to the Catwalk Curls Rock Amplifier which has been a game-changer! I love that this styling product has both a creamy texture and enough hold to not have to layer up on products. I've been using it since early October and I love my hair! It holds its wavy-curly pattern longer, doesn't feel dry, and doesn't look stringy and dull. I also listened to her advice about how to take care of curly hair in general. Thank you Assala for helping me along my 'curl journey'. I will definitely be returning for my next trim!

Great atmosphere and great barber's. Easy to talk to and understanding of what kinda hair cut I wanted.

I'm a girl and decided to go full on taper/fade and just have my hair real short. Got to the barber and the service was truly wonderful. The place itself looked so asthetically pleasing to the eye and even getting my hair done by the barber (I don't think I asked for his name but when I find out again, I'll put it down) was just wonderful and fun experience. He kept telling me funny stories and just kept everything lively for myself and even for my friend that was waiting for me to get my hair done.

10000/10, would recommend.

*Forgot to add that the haircut itself was exactly replicated once I showed the picture to the barber so when I say 10000/10, I mean it*
