Writing this review in my car parked outside the shop, only salon that gave me exactly what I wanted, my barber Sal, even gave me tips on how to maintain and obtain a better look with future haircuts.

Came in today, amazing service. I went with Ana, she did an amazing work. No questions or doubts, she gets the work done!

Terrible place to get a haircut, came in asked for a mid fade ended up receiving 30 minutes of nonsense and a low taper with no fade at all. Non of the barbers can listen to a simple instruction. I absolutely don’t recommend…I tried to give the benefit of doubt because most Denim and Smith shops 9/10 most likely are trash and this place fits in the majority.

Great location, Abe & Moe run an excellent barber shop offering hot shaves, men’s and women’s cuts in a terrific atmosphere. Really nice barber chairs, plenty of TV’s and plenty of barbers make for a short wait (if any).

We recommend this location for great service and great haircuts! Both Abe and Moe do a fabulous job! My son always gets compliments on his haircut.

My 12 year old twins were in desperate need of a haircut and I happened to be in the area. Sal was our guy and he was incredible. He gave them the best cut/fade and made them feel super comfortable. Highly recommend this shop. It’s super clean and everyone had a smile on their face. Thank you guys for an amazing experience.

Ivor is the best barber I've met in a while, gave me exactly what I wanted without overdoing anything and he is a very calm and kind person. Definitely coming back.

Loved the place until last week. I used to get a hair cut and get it washed as I got to get back to work… they never charged extra until last week. 35$ for a haircut seems ridiculous.and no kne even explained that there will be a charge.used to pay 30$ and I’ve always added 5$ tip.but not anymore.shame

Great and friendly staff. My son has long curly hair and they do fantastic job with his curls.

I saw Sam today and he did such an amazing job that he has won me as a regular customer!
His dedication is unmatched, he gave me a super sharp haircut and a nice faded beard trim!

The first indication that I was in the right place was seeing that other fellow customers were regulars. Once you start seeing these great barbers you become part of their family!

Worst barbershop ever, i don't remember the barber's name but he had a giant beard and he was big, i exactly asked if he can trim my hair just a little to make it look clean. He completely ignored what i said and he was just repeating "number 3 haircut? " I have no idea what number 3 haircut was, i repeated to "trim" the sides and he just started to cut most of my hair and almost made me go bald, which never fits my face and style. This is not what i wanted and never coming to this barbershop again, asking me if im happy with this hair? I surely am not

Been going to Abe for hair and beard for 2 years now. I live in the NW and drive to shawnessy because he’s the only barber I’ll see. Great barbers and great atmosphere.

Best cuts around with exceptional service. I take my two sons here as well and they love it. Once you go here you will never get your hair cut anywhere else. Thanks Moe and Abe!

I had a bit of expectation since it was a proper salon with high rating (4.9). But I had a disappointing experience. Just few suggestions: (1) if someone ask for a short hair cut, please ask if its short enough, (2) please ask if they want round or square shape cut on the back, (3) please show with mirror how it looks on the back after your are done, (4) if possible please provide a hair wash.

I’ve been going to Moe, one of the owners, for over 10 years and can’t say enough amazing things about not only the haircuts but also the level of customer service from all of those who work with him.

Moe is also a father and amazing with young children and my son started coming here when he was 5 as well.

Finally, the cleanliness is also as impeccable as the service.

What a great atmosphere. I have been to this location several times and am always impressed with the top notch service and fantastic hair cut. I also get the straight razor shave. Abe and Moe and wonderful to deal with and they treat you like a friend. Cant say enough about this hidden gem.

Great barbershop! Clean and professional environment. I always see Eli who has been cutting my hair for over 5 years, he does an amazing job everytime.

I always feel great everytime I visit their shop and have a haircut. Moe is very cheerful and make you feel comfortable. Eli is also great and very professional. I highly recommend Eli if you want to have a good haircut.

These guys are amazing, truly amazing, a huge shout out to John who I can call the Michelangelo of hair. I feel the haircut was almost wasted on me.

All the staff are very kind, attentive, accommodating and professional. I'm personally very satisfied with the service and Eli is the best, all the time.

Sam did an awesome job on my hair and gave me a nice trim on my sideburns making the beard look longer on the chin and jawline.

I’ve been looking for a good barbershop for years and when I found this place I knew it was going to be my go-to spot, the place is awesome and the music is good, Abe and Moe are amazing owners Highly recommend.

Moe is probably the best barber in Calgary. He is a perfectionist. All-around great guy. Him and Abe are the owners. For men's hair cuts, this place is top quality. Highly recommend.

I have been getting my haircut by John since i started coming to this shop and he is an amazing barber, He always takes His time and makes sure it’s perfect. Highly recommended

The barbers do a great job of fading and tapering. I did not feel any pain, and I felt satisfied after getting my hair done especially after getting my hair washed with shampoo and dried with a warm towel. Overall, my hair experience was satisfying and I recommend bringing photos of your preferred hairstyle to show an accurate description of what your haircut should be to your barber and you'll likely be happy with the end result.

I have been coming to this barber shop ever since it opened, and also because my barber Jack moved to this location. Honestly this is the most clean, welcoming, family environment barber shop I have ever been to. If you walk in you will always be greeted no matter how long the line, and they ensure that they will be with you asap. I definitely recommend to check this location out and visit Jack if you need an amazing haircut or fade. I was recently found this place. I was elated, the previous barber shop had told me Abe and Mo left the country and was never to return. Today I took my son as we both needed haircuts.

My son got his haircut from Abe first. Abe was patient and listened intently to what my son wanted and gave him a cut that he liked. Abe was engaging with my son and I was at ease that my shy son felt comfortable within the first few minutes. Afterward my son said how nice that Abe guy was.

I was after and I was glad to have some of the issues I had with a previous barber noticed without having to point it out. I was very happy with the result both haircut and beard trim. I wasn’t able to explain why I wasn’t thrilled with my last few cuts at another shop. When Abe was done, I knew that I was happy. I am very glad to find this shop and find that Abe and Mo have not left the country, they just branched out.

I highly recommend this place, even during this difficult time of COVID-19. The owner has taken steps to keep people safe, I was shown the air filtration system to kill airborne viruses. The staff were diligent to clean their hands when coming back into the shop. I felt safe that both my son and I could be in there and I am careful where I go as I am a caregiver of the vulnerable.

I went to Denim & Smith after not having a haircut in about 5 plus months. My hair was a mop. I decided to try here because my regular place shut down and I was NOT disappointed. Jack was AWESOME. Very proffesional and respectful. The place was immaculate and very well managed. I will definately keep going back and HIGHLY reccomend anyone who has style to come here.

Walked in for a beard trim. Eli the barber was awesome. Beard looks great super attention to detail. Was pretty good price too.

These guys are really taking the virus seriously, to the extant they built safety shields between each seat so the guests can feel comfortable and no more than 2 people waiting in the shop. Phone ahead for an appointment they are slammed and probably will be for the next few weeks.

Well, I'm totally rockin" a COVID-do for the last 10 WEEKS, but only because I'm waitin for Abe to open up again. When a man cuts, a man cuts, and I won't see any one else but Abe. This is my hair we're talkin about yo.

Moe cut my sons hair EXACTLY how he wanted it, and was awesome! The gentleman that gave me a cut and shave was also awesome! Perfect haircuts (and a shave for Dad) and excellent service! Will DEFINITELY be going back!

Very professional, friendly staff and I always leave feeling I got great value for my cut. The Zohan is the best barber in the city and gives a $100 haircut for only $25. Great atmosphere and I always leave satisfied and refreshed.
