Dental at the Met

I came to see my Dentist and was hoping to have a filling done for my tooth but unfortunately it is too weak for that. I just had a baby this year and had some complications after that. My mental and physical health is struggling with everything that had happened to me. I am so grateful to Dr. Sandhu which became my advocate and device a care plan. I want to thank Briana as well for assisting me with my visit, making sure I am ready and comfortable with every step of the way. I would highly recommend this place.

Dr. Shivji was wonderful with our baby and we had a great first visit. He showed her the automatic light and had lots of props to keep her occupied. We’ll l go back next year.

I have something to compare with. I have only visited this clinic once so far, but I was captivated by how polite and nice the staff is towards the client. I like the way the clinic workers try to explain everything correctly and if you don’t understand something, they explain it in more detail. Wonderful employees and perfect new equipment. I recommend

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. As someone who is a nervous patient at the dentist, they go above and beyond to make sure that I am comfortable and check in often to make sure I am doing okay. My teeth always feel so clean after the wonderful Michelle cleans them!

Just had my 6 month check up and cleaning. My wonderful hygienist Michelle did an excellent job as usual.

I love this dental clinic. Michelle is very knowledgeable! And everyone is nice and professional.

The first thing they impose on you is brushing your teeth, as soon as you come in. They made a request to the insurance company, already knowing that the answer would be negative, called within a month, said to wait for an answer. I called back after another month and a half, they said to wait a few more weeks. They called back a few months later. As a result, the usual (simple) fillings were never made, and it was uncomfortable to live all this time. I don't recommend it.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. I have been going here since Dec 2022 and they have been nothing but amazing. The front staff Katelyn and Hema are always so helpful. Alexa is always ready with a stress ball and will settle you right in. Hygienists Yabsira and Chelsea were both thorough and very patient with me. I have seen Dr Shivji who is super quick and puts you at ease. I have seen Dr. Sandhu as well. She is just the best! Gentle touch, kind, patient, joyful and compassionate- everything you would want in your dentist. You can’t go wrong with any of the dentists there. Both Dr Shivji and Dr Sandhu break everything down for you and are active listeners. The dental assistants are all top notch as well and provide great support throughout the procedures. They are a great caring team and it shows with every visit.

I had an exceptional experience at Dental at the Met. Everyone was so welcoming, from the receptionist to the dentist, which made me feel right at home.

Dr. Sandhu and the dental hygienist (s) are highly skilled and knowledgeable. She is super friendly and compassionate and listens to the problem you bring to her. She took the time to explain everything in detail, answer all of my questions, and provide me with personalized recommendations. She last suggested that I get a mouthguard because I have a habit of grinding my teeth.

They usually book a follow-up appointment after your visit (if needed) and check in with you if you got a procedure done. I would highly recommend Dental at the Met to anyone looking for top-notch dental care. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and highly skilled, and the office is welcoming and comfortable.

I can't say enough good things about Dental at the Met. Dr. Sandhu is the most gentle and skilled, in all her dentistry and especially at administering freezing, that I have ever had. My new front crown looks so natural, no one would know it was not a real tooth. The Hygienists and front Administrative staff are fabulous and have provided me with top notch service above and beyond. I have gone from having to have my fingers removed from gripping the arms of the chairs to being so relaxed, that I almost falling asleep while being worked on.

All staff were very polite and professional. They explain everything to you and answer your questions in an easy to understand manner. My service was very comfortable and I didn't experience any pain or discomfort. Processing was quick and well organized. I will be referring my family members to this practice.

I cannot recommend this clinic enough! Everyone is so friendly and fantastic at their jobs which makes each visit completely stress free! I was so grateful for their transparency in costs and assuring I was informed on what would and wouldn't be covered by insurance before each appointment. Never had a better experience at the dentist!

This appointment was my discounted whitening treatment for new clients. Cindy was pleasant engaging and attentive and thorough. My whitening turned out very well! Both appointment so far are excellent.

Really excellent service. Very kind staff. The procedures were not uncomfortable at all. They made me comfortable enough I was able to relax. I would recommend this dental office. The office is also aesthetically pleasing which is a plus. And they take care of all the insurance coverage details which simplified things a lot for me.

Very happy with cosmetic work (crowns & veneer) that Dr. Sandhu did on three of my front teeth due to them breaking in an accident. She is also a total sweetheart and always took her time to make sure that I understood and was involved and okay with every step of this procedure. The rest of the staff is fantastic as well!

An excellent Dental care choice located conveniently right in downtown Calgary but still adhering to the Alberta Fee guide. Every person working there that I interacted with was beyond friendly and considerate. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to go. Great service and fantastic staff. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. Very professional. I had a filling fixed and was in and out in half an hour! Not only fast but great job done and they make you as comfortable as possible with different options when something doesn’t work or feel comfortable to you.

The best experience I’ve ever had at a dental clinic! The whole team is so friendly and kind and the dentists are all amazing. They take the time to really explain everything and truly care about what they are doing.

Dental at the Met was not my first dental work provider. I have visited the clinic for multiple dental work in 2020 and 2021 (hygiene, crown work, fillings). The staff are all equally professional and friendly. Recently one of my crowns fell, and when I contacted the clinic they arranged for a visit the next day, tested the area and made required repairs to re-fix it and did not charge me anything as it was still under warranty. My wife is now changing her provider to Dental at the Met as well.

I'm sure most people like their dentist; I know I do! But I cannot say enough good things about this business! Everyone from Dr. Shivji, Amanda and N’Kara are just wonderful people. Very professional, easy communication, and great service. Thank you guys!

Another year, another teeth cleaning. When I last came I was able to get Chelsea for my hygienist and like I told her, I hate the dentist but she makes it a lot better. She is unlike a lot of hygienist's who are obviously in the job to torture their patients. She actually interacts and does not squeal with joy when you're in pain. She is patient, kind and pretty lovely! I was SOO happy when she came to get me in the waiting room because as I said, she does not thrive on my suffering. You can tell she is so passionate about what she does and it is incredible to see. The dentist was also so great, quick and even gave me a painful mouth massage, but it helped to see how much I clench. YIKES! Didn't know that was a thing. But seriously, they seem to always go above and beyond for their patients and that is the best. The two ladies at the desk were also amazing. I don't know her name, but the one with the precious accent is so kind as well. She was talkative and really made the payment portion not the worst.:) Yeah, take my money! You guys are amazing!:)

Avoid this place. Seriously!
Dr. Sinju is unbelievably incompetent even though she's very polite and super nice. I really like her as a person but trust me, you don't want to be her guinea pig.

I've done multiple fillings, root canal and crown jobs there and each of them failed after only a few month.
1- I got a simple filling, a few month later it cracked down and I had to do a root canal and put on a crown.

2- another crown that she put on for me broke down after 1 year and now I have to do an implant.
3- every single job she's done in my mouth has become a bigger issue after a few months.

All that said, the staff are super nice and professional.

I wish someone had told me all of this when I was looking for a new dentist.

Dental at the Met is fantastic! The facilities are really clean and all the staff are very friendly. Dr. Shivji is an amazing dentist - his work is impeccable, he does his best to make sure you’re comfortable, and appointments don’t feel rushed.

The facilities were in great condition and created a very relaxing atmosphere. We were attended by Dr. Rahim Shivji. Both myself and my parents were very happy with the results. Dr. Rahim Shivji is the best dentist I have ever had. He makes me feel totally comfortable and at ease when I need to have work done. He offers great service and works with his clients to ensure they can get the work done when it is needed. I recommend him to anyone who needs dental work. All of the clinic staff are excellent, caring and helpful in making clients feel welcome and valued.

Friendly and helpful staff make you at ease upon your entrance. A thorough professional yet personable team that ensure you are well talent care of. I had a great experience with Michelle, hygienist. She explained the process to me well and answered all my questions clearly. Dr. Shivji is one of the best dentists I know. He has always been incredibly gentle and informative. My fear of dentist has improved and I am more confident to visit and care for my Dental Heath. My extremely high recommendation!

As always, every visit is wonderful. Everyone is just so welcoming and make you feel at ease. Plus they let you hold the remote to their tv and choose whatever you want to watch on Netflix. I would highly recommend this place. ️ Thank you Dental @ the Met.
