I am obsessed with skin care and have tried most of the high end spas and clinics in Edmonton. I am BLOWN away by the care I received and the knowledge of the staff! The place is right off whyte in a convenient location and once inside you don’t even notice the bustle of the city. Don’t even get me started on the brow services, they revived what little hair I had, I am now a client for life. Thank you Dermica for making my skin goal dreams come true!

A word to the wise: the pore extraction facial hurts like a bee. I wept and my face was red for a day. But my God, was it worth it. My skin is so clear and bright. The texture has calmed considerably. I would recommend bracing yourself for the pain of it, but know it'll make you look radiant.

The salon was clean and easy to locate. Sylvia did a fantastic job and let me know what she was planning to do so there was no surprises. I have lash extensions on and she treated them with great care so they wouldn't steam off. I'm thrilled.

In July 2021 I visited Dérmica for a brow sculpt. Not only was I pleased with the results (my brows had never looked so good), but the customer service was fantastic. I’ve been back a few times since, for a Lash Lift, and photo facial. Jhonna you are amazing! Looking forward to my next visit.

Dermica is my favourite place for brows! I’ve lived in different cities and nobody does brows like Dermica. Every time I come to Edmonton, I make sure to schedule a brow sculpt.

The quality at Dermica showed through from beginning to end. I had a beauty facial which includes a brow wax and tint. I didn't know my eyebrows could look so good! I found this gem walking down Whyte Ave. I initially came in to pick up some eyenvy for my lashes and to my surprise, found this beautiful spa with wonderful people! I've been coming regularly ever since and have tried many of their services. My recommendations? The pore facial, the lash lift, and the brow wax and tint (sculpt).

I really enjoyed my experience at Dermica. I had Microblading done on my eyebrows. They look natural and yet so amazing! I did a lot of research before deciding on a place, after all, you cannot hide from bad eyebrows. My top reasons for choosing Dermica was 1) they provided a lot of information online including before and after pics, they seemed knowledgeable. 2) the initial consultation went very well. They settled my fears and earned my trust. 3) I liked the fact that they had different tiers of microblading levels. I found other places charge the same amount even though I did not want too much work done. 4) the spa was charming, very well put-together, and clean.

If you're considering Microblading in Edmonton, I recommend giving tis place a try. But see for yourself, their Microblading consultations are free. 2 thumbs up!

The best facial in Edmonton hands down! I have never had an esthetician be so thorough with my skin. I left with a flawless complexion and a recommended beauty regime to maintain it. My skin continues to glow, months later. I love treating my self and getting pampered at Dermica. This will be my go-to location for services and it should be yours too.

Update: 2 years later and in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. My skin has continued to improve (its like reverse aging!), and I am so impressed by the sanitization and safety precautions they are taking to keep everyone safe while still providing top notch services. I really feel cared for by the staff at Dermica MedEsthetics.

I visited Dermica for the first time and got my brows shaped and waxed. She threw in a complimentary tint to see if I like it and I will definitely continue with the tint! Clean, professional environment.

Honestly, I curse the day I stepped foot into this place. Came here with the hope of CLEARING uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation only for them to contribute to the problem. My before pictures are way better than now. I had 3 chemical peels and 1 facial and all I can say is WOW, the place is awful. Waste of time and money, don't come here if you have acne, they'll make it worse.

Wonderful with my daughter. Very calm environment- very professional. Kind girls, no high pressure sale tactics for add ons. Gave my daughter a generous free sample and didn’t push to rebook a premature revisit.
Also if you time it right, you can walk over to Julio’s for Bulldogs and nachos after- win/win! We drove out from Stony Plain to visit this spa, and I’d say it was definitely worth it!

I found this place as I was walking on Whyte ave. I gave them a try for a brow wax and other body waxing.

My brows have never looked so good! $18 was definitely worth the amount of effort and attention to detail that the esthetician provided. The body waxing was good too.

A wonderful place with wonderful people. I always leave feeling pretty and relaxed. The prices are fair and affordable for a wide range of options to pamper one self. Always a very clean establishment with some of the nicest people I have had the chance to meet.

I visited "Whyte Ave" during my trip to Edmonton. It was a cute street mostly filled with small business owners. Many places had charm, but the ladies at Dermica made my visit to Edmonton so special! Thank you and I'm looking forward to my next visit next time I'm in town.

I’ve had dermaplaning and a pore facial here and both were great and left my skin feeling really smooth. I’ve had severe acne in the past and these treatments made my skin look and feel a lot better.

Went for a pore facial on Saturday and had an amazing experience! My technician was gentle with my skin but effectively made my skin feel so clean and hydrated. Will definitely recommend Dermica to my friends and family, and I'll definitely be back!

I have been getting a combination of facials and chemical peels and my skin has improved quite a lot since I started coming to dermica. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. I always feel cared for when I visit.

I've been going to dermica for 3-4 years now. Sadly, I will have to find another spa as I am moving to the beautiful east coast. I am writing this review to say much thanks to the ladies at dermica for keeping my skin and brows top-notch. It will be difficult to replace them, they increased my expectations of spa services, specifically, facials and the brow wax and tint job (the dermica sculpt).

After moving to Alberta last year I found my skin was out of control. I bought a package of photofacials and my skin is looking better than ever. My experience at dermica has always been positive and I definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Only 2 days ago I went for my 2nd IPL session for facial redness and I'm happy with the results. Every time I see improvement and the girls there are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable, they always give you tips and recommendations on how to take care of your skin. I recommend this place 100%!

I was a little hesitant to get a chemical peel after watching the infamous Sex and the City episode where Samantha gets a peel, but I'm happy to report that my experience was nothing like that! My face did get a little red right after and I peeled for about a week but the results after were pretty amazing if I do say so myself. The customer service was magnificent. They made me feel very comfortable throughout my service and provided me with written instructions for after care.

I've been going to Dermica 1-2 times a month for the last 8 months for hair removal (waxing and now IPL) and have only had excellent experiences. The employees are great, especially Sylvia. Their prices are very reasonable and the space is professional and clean. A nice perk is that you get 25% off every 6th visit. The online booking system is convenient, however it would be nice if you could request an esthetician by name.

My doctor referred me to dermica to treat my rosacea. So far my treatments have been going well and I've been using less of my prescribed ointment which is a bonus considering I don't have medical coverage and would need to use this cream on an ongoing basis. I called to get some information and ended up having a great consult over the phone. I got a handy little card with tips for taking care of my skin in between treatments. Thank you dermica:)

My lash lift experience at Dermica was top notch. The service provider was very accommodating. I told her that my eyes are very sensitive to fluorescent light, so she turned the room lights off and used goggles with a light attached. The bed was set up with a pillow for underneath my knees. She told me this was for back support since the service was about an hour. The consult was thorough, I was given options on the curl (small, medium, or large) and the direction of the lashes (straight or outwards). I'm very happy with my lash lift, my lashes are still going strong! Also I'm very happy with Dermica, its the little things that count, and they made me feel very comfortable and confident in their service.

I have been on the search for a good spa here in Edmonton and I think I finally found one! When I saw that Dermica was on Whyte, I was a bit hesitant due to the annoyance of parking. Their location is convenient however because there is free parking in residential behind them! The spot is cute and the customer service was amazing. I was happy with my results and will 100% be coming back here again and again. I truly recommend them!

I loved my microblading experience at this spa. The technician was very patient and answered all my questions. The consultation was very thorough, I felt in very safe hands. The day of the procedure was comfortable. The technician took many measurements of my face to make sure my brows were even, this gave me peace of mind that she knew what she was doing. I waited in the treatment room while my brows were numbing. The technician offered me tea and magazines. The room was comfy and clean. The procedure itself lasted an hour and a half. My brows are now healed and I'm very happy with them. I'm glad I chose Dermica. They had a lot of info on their website about microblading. The price wasn't bad either, especially considering the information and care I was given:)

Best facial of my life! I got the lux facial. Joanna knows her stuff. Not only was my facial relaxing, I found it educational. I understood all the factors that could be causing my concerns and was given tips for home. She explained the products she would be using based on her observations and my answers to her questions before starting the facial. The massage portion of the facial was by far the most relaxing I've ever had. My face felt so polished by the end. My brows were nicely shaped too. I'm definitely coming back.

OMG! I am amazed at the results I've had from my ipl hair removal. I was told in my consultation that I would need 6-12 treatments, but after 4 visits, not sure if I will even need anymore. (will finish my sessions just to be safe though ;)

I have had laser treatments in the past at another location for what felt like over 1.5 years of monthly visits and I didn't get anywhere with that.

I also bought my sister a gift card for some eyebrow microblading and my gosh are they ever amazing. BEST GIFT EVER!

Went in for a facial last week, I'm happy with the results. Extractions were done which was my number one concern. I was also given tips for at home. The place was clean. Professional and friendly staff. My aesthetician was knowledgeable. Overall a good experience.

Absolutely horrible facials. Do not waste your time or money here. There are way better places to get facials in Edmonton. Worst $85 I have ever spent.
