Send me a parcel since the sixth of this month and I was told that the possible date for delivery is the fourteenth of this month When I checked the shipment where it arrived they told me that it was detained because no one received it when we came to your house knowing that no one passed by my door this whole two weeks and until now the eighteenth of November I have not received anything If there was less than a star I would put it as they do not answer the service phone Customers, shame on you to disregard people's things like this.

My review is actually negative or zero star. The worst experience I have ever encountered. Beware guys, I am telling you to beware and avoid DHL you will just be frustrated. They deceived innocent customers. How I wish I have known it before. I would like to give other customers a warning to be aware of the negative reviews because it’s all true and I can testify that what happened to them it happened actually happened to me also. I spoke with Afros and she was also a fake person, she told me she will expedite my package because of what’s inside it and it’s time sensitive. She pretended she asked from the courier that they will deliver it that day and she said the driver went to deliver my package but no response from us, well actually we are in the house the whole time and we have a camera front and back door and no ghost driver showed up. I was tracking my package until midnight and then suddenly it will show that there was no response. I guess they just like to deceive customers and this has been going on for years. I wish this company will close since they are a fraud, liar, scammer. I wish karma will get back to you soon. Beware beware beware. Never ever use DHL.

I recently had a very negative experience with DHL, which has led me to write this review. Unfortunately, I can't give 0 star and I must say that their service is the worst I have ever encountered. My package was held for a week, with the status being updated to "out for delivery" every day. Frustrated, I had to go to the location and pick it up myself. Even then, the staff had no idea what they were doing and provided terrible service. Communication with HQ customer representatives was also poor. When I asked to speak to a manager at the location, an associate in the back pretended to be one, and only after pressing for their information did they reluctantly offer a name and email. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with DHL's service and would not recommend them to anyone.

Wow. I ordered a Christmas present from the UK. It arrived into Canada 12 hours after it was shipped out of the UK. It then sat at this location for 5 days and was finally scanned on December 23 as having departed the facility. I understand the holiday would delay it’s delivery but as of Dec 30 it still wasn’t delivered. I contacted them and they simply said it was “lost” My question is, If it got on the truck for delivery and it hasn’t been seen since, who helped themselves to my sons Christmas present?

Worst customer service ever. I went to send a package. I said hello to the ladies and they went on talking to each other, I stood there for 30 minutes waiting for them to finish talking until another lady came and asked if I had been helped. The Arab lady telling the Filipino lady that I don't deserve help. They act like they own dhl. Hire people who can do their job.

Used this location couple of times. Staff is usually missing from counter.it can take 1 - 2 hours for shipping something. They also mixed up my shipment address with another customer so make sure your address and contact details are correct on the invoice. Very disappointed with DHL service.

Extremely rude and aggressive driver by the name of Berget (?) Came to my house accusing us of saying a package was not delivered, and asking us why we said that. Then proceeded to ask how many people were living at my address, like he was a robber planning something. Disgusting customer service. Will never use DHL ever again.

Horrible customer service. I changed the delivery address 5 days ago, and just now received a notification that it couldn’t be delivered *to the address that I had changed it from* and that they would be withholding my package through the long weekend. When I called to ask why my package didn’t get rerouted as I requested, the woman basically told me “we don’t always listen to those requests and can’t guarantee your package will arrive where it’s supposed to. You’ll have to continue tracking it. There’s nothing I can do. ”
Avoid this service at all costs, pay the extra for UPS guys.

Extremely annoyed with this company. They marked my package delivered. The delivery time was while I was home and in fact sitting by the front door waiting for this urgent package.

No driver or anyone from DHL came at all but yet they marked it delivered? My shipping requires a signature upon receipt.

Was the driver too lazy to deliver just marked it delivered. Nobody came!

Totally fraudulent and untrustworthy service. Very upset with this company. And no customer service is open until Monday. It’s Friday now so I have to wait a full 3 days for something I needed this weekend.

Not an express service rather a SNAIL service, took 10 days for my box to arrive then ground service called us giving as time of their delivery but ended up late. Got late for work. Their service is TERRIBLE.

This is the absolute worst shipping company I have ever dealt with.all stop! Package was scheduled to be delivered to my local service point this past Monday.on Sunday I saw that it was sitting in calgary, I tried to call them to see if I could get them to hold it there, and I would pickup on Monday as I was heading to Calgary anyway. They forced me to go through the online chat and the person (bot) said it would be there and available for pickup on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday morning comes and I show up in Calgary, only to be told that it had been sent back to Leduc. Frustrated, but I asked them to confirm that it would be held there and I would grab it on my way home on Friday.

Arrive at the Leduc office on Friday. Suprise! The package had been sent back to Calgary! Getting angry now, Get a case manager to tell me it Will be sent back to Edmonton on Monday (today) and I see that on the website, the shipment status is "held for pickup" in Calgary.

No one can call the Leduc or calgary office directly to find out what next steps are, everytime I talk to someone, they just try and open a new case, which puts my delivery back even further. I am not able to contact service points directly.

Now I recognise and acknowledge that I probably muddied the water by requesting a different pickup point at the last minute. But that being said, this is Bar none the WORST experience I have ever had, I wouldn't ship anything with DHL if my life depended on it!

they're inexpensive for a reason, RUN don't walk to fed ex or Purolator, or Canada Post, or UPS. Hell you'd be better off to ship via courier pigeon than deal with this train wreck of a company.

AVOID using DHL at any cost.can never talk to anybody as they never give you a contact number. They have no clue where your package is (assuming they do not take it for themselves)

Over and over again, DHL fails for my business. Product reaches Calgary in as little as 2 days from Georgia and gets lost for up to 2 weeks. Most of the time it’s because the driver puts it in his van physically but doesn’t update the system to show that he has it and loads it at the same time as he feels like delivering it. After endless emails all I get is sorry and nothing ever happens.

Worst service! Everytime I come there is only one person working the front counter and they disappear into the back multiple times for upwards of 10-15 minutes. When I asked if anyone can help the long line growing out the door I was told they couldn't help as they were all going on break. GET MORE EMPLOYEES!

Have 4 packages.delivery notice via text was sent to me. 3 boxes received but 1 box the driver did not drop.after tracking they updated the status that I refuse to recrieve the package. How come? It's a no contact delivery.

I actively avoid companies that use DHL. Literally the worst experience every time I am forced to use them.
They kept insisting that my wedding suit was delivered when it was signed for by their driver and was sitting in their warehouse.
Hidden fees and charges above and beyond duty/taxes.
Delivery driver never used buzzer to ring us, just left the missed delivery notice even when we were home.
Poor customer service, poor deliveries, poorly run all around.

Although the staff worked hard to serve ppl and are very friendly. They are severely understaffed and the wait time for pick-up or drop-off is very long.

As a rule of thumb, don’t use dhl as they will mess up your order somehow. Wanted to send an urgent document and paid for it to be picked up. Nobody came. Cancelled that order and had to go the next day and send through dhl (I was still naive) myself. A courier showed up two days later for the cancelled documents.

Paid for 5 day shipping, took over 3 weeks to get here.paid my duties a week in advance, and they held the package for no reason, when you called in, they verified that it is approved in the system.but still made me wait another 5 days to receive my package.i had a scheduled time and they cant even honor that.on top of that the day it was scheduled it never actually went to transit, they put it on hold 1 hour before the deadline of the delivery.they never intended to actually give my package the promised time. Useless company and i would say to use ANY other shipping company in Canada.

Despite having updated the delivery address multiple times and getting confirmation e-mails each time, I still can’t track my package or get an answer on when I can expect delivery. I’ve spoken to them over the phone multiple times and been told the issue has been resolved but to call back after noon the following day if I still can’t track my package. This has been going on for a week. Last time I called they said they would call me back because they need to look into it.

Horrible. No way to communicate with the delivery driver or the warehouse directly. The online tracking stated my package was being delivered as agreed while it turns out the duty payment was not completed and it was still held in customs. After the agreed delivery was not completed the call centre was less than helpful. We paid for expedited delivery and it was delivered days later.

Warning do not use this company I have been using them for my business for the last 2 months around 8 delivers they mess up every single time always on DHL’s end not mine, completely useless should not be In business, delivery times mean nothing will hold your parcel for days or even weeks for no reason. It took a LONG time. Needed to be there 3 times to pick up 1 package. Line up was so long and NOT moving one time I needed to come back later. Not great, wouldn't recommend if given the option.

We deal with FedEx UPS and DHL. DHL has terrible customer service compared to the other 2. The counter staff act upset just being there and not friendly at all.

I don't know how this company stays in business. Packages ALWAYS take twice as long to deliver as promised, suddenly, tracking is no longer available and their customer service is non-existent. They must be cheap. I avoid all companies that use this company whenever possible. There's even multiple sites out there dedicated to why DHL sucks.

I just don't understand how you can have a job delivering packages and not deliver the packages. How are they still in business?
I paid $25 extra for express shipping from amazon, DHL left a failed deliver notice on Tuesday. However, our doorbell/buzzer code goes straight to my partners phone, yet his phone had no missed calls. I had been at a movie and was not able to pick up, but it was a regular phone call. My partner had also been home at the time.
Basically, unless you have your phone on you at all times and are always able to pick up, the couriers will be too lazy to drop off your package and will skip over your house.
Attempt # 2 was today. I left the delivery notice with my signature and a note kindly explaining that they needed to use the dial pad, and included our unit number. In order to prevent a repeat situation I had also previously contacted amazon, and DHL via email and phone call.
Guess what?
FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPT again, and one missed call while I was at work operating loud machinery. I called back within 10 min of receiving the phone call, but have still not received my package 3 hrs later.

DHL, in order to provide a 5 star service you only need to do 3 things right:
Be dependable, be timely, and get the right address.

Despite reading some very bad reviews of DHL, they have been nothing but incredible for me. Call was answered with no wait time during Christmas season, operator was local and spoke perfect English so communication was much easier than most shipper help lines. She helped me arrange for a pickup on a Friday where my package was delayed due to customs clearance so I got to pick it up instead of waiting for a Monday delivery.

If there is a word next to WORST, that's how I describe them. REALLY BAD service! My package was delivered to the wrong person and incorrect address. The documents inside the package took my family 20yrs to obtain! The costumer service people don't have any sympathy or sentiments on how you feel, they say they are sorry but don't really mean it.

I will NEVER use they service EVER again and will NOT recommend them to all my friends and family!

Calgary Police can't do nothing about the matter, all the do is just advice you to get a lawyer - well not everyone can afford one!

No competence or concern. Missed a call from DHL at 11: 47 (1 ring) and the Attempted Delivery notice says 11: 47. I was standing on my balcony looking at the front door of my place because I was waiting for my parcel. No DHL driver was at my place. Phoned service line 3 times and apparently if the driver says they attempted delivery there’s F all you can do to arrange pickup at a DHL Outlet - the service reps say they make notes to arrange for pickup, but all 3 notes directing the driver to drop the parcel off at a pickup location were ignored. Makes me wonder if the drivers don’t actually go to the address but call people, don’t let it ring long enough for them to answer, and tick the box of attempted delivery. Would make for a pretty easy day of work.

Most annoying shipping company. I don't recommend. I literally sat at home for 2days to receive my parcel only for me to receive a message the first day " attempted delivery", called the service centre and I updated my info to say "leave in front door" Only for me to see the same message " attempted delivery". No calls from the driver to say he was around.

Still haven't received my parcel after paying for a door delivery, I have to go to dhl office to Pickup. So who pays for the inconvenience?

The worst experience ever. They are never delivering to the address direct and all the time charging some customs fees but never providing customs invoice or whatsoever to proof those fees. So taking an advantage all the time with extra and extra without providing the service you are paying for. Will never use them again

No call ,and can not update data online on time, I import some plants and wait one more 24 hours.the plant have been dry for a week. Then called different people, the first call gave the wrong information. Really bad service!

DHL is running quite the scam. I paid $30 shipping to get something from Japan valued at $100. But the shipping I paid DHL wasn’t enough for them apparently. They held my order until I paid an extra $48. They blamed customs because they were charged $6 by Canadian customs. So I had to go to Canadian Customs and pay that $6 to waive the DHL fee. Why would I pay an extra $42 dollars on top of what I’ve already paid them just so that they can go through customs. This is their job. What a scam.

This specific location also gave me problems. I handed them the customs documents in person and the guy assured me that everything is good to go now and that I’d received the package the next day. A day later, I was told by DHL that they had no record of this and that I still owed money. So they made me email a copy of the document and wait another day.

This company is a mess.

Today the driver failed to leave the package even though it was part of the instructions - no signature - he was sent a message from his supervisor after exactly 20 minutes telling the driver to turn around and leave the package and to send me a text message on my cell with ETA. Well. I called an hour later after hearing nothing, and I was told it will be delivered after the weekend, that the driver simply did not want to turn around! Seriously, and on a Friday? When it's your mistake? And I have had to pay customs twice before with them because they can't just come up with an efficient system. God. Can someone behind this company use their f**king head? You need help! Incompetent!

DHL drivers must be either poorly treated or poorly chosen. We had a driver show up and he was being pretty rude and aggressive during a pickup. Our freight broker e-mailed us a label a few minutes before the driver showed up and I didn't see that e-mail right away. I apologized to the driver and told him we would just need a minute to print the label and tape it to the side of the box but he was super annoyed and told me he was just going to leave. After pleading with him to wait for a moment, he reluctantly agreed and was pacing around while lecturing me about how we were completely screwing up his day and how we knew nothing about shipping. He didn't seem to have any time to wait for the label to be taped to the box, but he did seem to have a lot of time to continue lecturing me and showing me his schedule on his scanner, to prove how busy he is, after the package was ready. Very poor service.

I have been overseeing our $1.5M/year shipping account for the last 14 years and have never experienced such rude behavior from a driver with the exception of a previous experience with a different DHL driver who picked up from us a few years ago. Would never consider giving any future business to DHL.

They left a notice that they would try to deliver again but they didn’t. When I look up the way bill number on the notice it falsely said the item was delivered. The next day i received an email from the company that I ordered from. Saying that the item had been returned to them because it was unclaimed. Unfortunately I don’t have control over what postal service other companies use. I would never do business with a company that lies. Stay away if you can.
