Our family favourite campground. Visit the centre and take a program if you have time and are interested in paleontology, heck even if you aren’t you’ll have fun and learn something. There’s live theatre in the evening loads of fun for kids as they can get involved.

A nice place to camp and explore. We stayed in the overflow/group use area. Much more private. Great access to the wilder areas. Also greater chances of seeing a rattle snake, so be aware. Alas, we did not see one. Or maybe that's a good thing.
If you have bicycles, the ride around the badlands road is not difficult and you see a lot more than if you are driving in a car. I highly encourage it.

You can’t go wrong with this park especially at sunset. This place is so neat.

During the summer though it can get very hot so make sure you have lots of water, electrolytes, sunscreen and a hat.

Awesome place for everyone. Superb staff who are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend that you check out this gem of a park.

Would be 5 stars except that laundry and showers require coins and no change machine was available. Park is very nice as long as you get a site with shade. No cell service while down in the camp area.

100% worth the drive. A really unique park, spent several hours there wondering around. Fascinating land with an interesting museum. Totally recommend the various walks available.

Got eaten alive by mosquitos on one of the walks so bring bug spray. It can also get quite windy so layer up.

This is a place that definitely feels like a step back in time. With its unique landscape, it's such a great place to explore. Take advantage of all the little trails this park has to offer, as you'll see and learn some cool things. The visitor center is a nice adage with a couple more dinosaurs to view and more info to learn. The restrooms were very clean.

Where you can go to see 75 million years into the past - see where many of the worlds collections of dinosaur fossils originated. See how ice aged floods unearthed those fossils in catastrophic fashion.
Pro tip: Pick up a dino fossil at the gift shop and cleverly drop it right where you tell your kids to look closely. They will never forget finding their first dinosaur bone.

We loved the comfort camping in the park. The rainy weather prevented us from going on the Bonebed express hike as the trail was too muddy. We’ll be back!

My kids now want to be palaeontologists after going here. What an amazing place. Only power sites at the campground, but still a great campsite. The amphitheatre show was epic.

Spectacular rock formations and beautiful scenery. Enjoyed cycling & walking on trails in the park, and a geologist's presentation about its natural history. Campground personnel inflexible about applying policy that kept us stuck in an undesirable campsite when we could have relocated to a quieter site that remained vacant for the entire time of our stay. Frustrating!

When you dip down into the badlands at Dinosaur Park you are enveloped by its unique beauty, walking trails, and more. A great place to camp and don’t forget the visitor centre that can help guide you to your next destination. Stop by the Bassano Dam if you are headed West afterwards.

If you are in Alberta or planning to visit there, Dinosaur Provincial Park is a must see! It is the most amazing, unique and fun experience we had in the West. Of course, so are the Rockies. The views, hiking, camping and dinosaur displays are incredible. Have fun exploring!

We spent the weekend in the south campsite and were pleased to have power, showers and a fun and tasty restaurant at the park. We also went on a bus tour. Originally due to the weather, the tour had to be shifted from a wider ranging tour to the loop area. However the tour guides brought a ton of knowledge and extra specimens and information well beyond what we had seen by doing the path ourselves earlier on the weekend. Dinosaur Provincial Park is a real secret gem Albertans should be proud of.

Amazing historical site to visit. If you have interest in history of our planet must visit this site.
If you just watch this site it will take only 45 mins not more than that.
If you would like to stay over there and some lounge and hosting options are there.

Beautiful park if you like hiking. They could use more signage informing people what protected areas mean and where they are, to many people don't pay any attention.
There are areas you can hike off trail.
