This was a fantastic tour especially as it was modified slightly to make it safe during an extremely cold day in Banff. We appreciate the tour going ahead with modifications and still being amazing. Thank you to Rob.

Good organization, everything booked from the website. The guides Phoebe and her partner (I don't remember his name!) are young but well prepared. The walk becomes fun and short. Highly recommended! We didn't see any bears.

Sebastian was a great tour guide and gave our group many cool facts and info about Banff. We did see Elk on our tour as well as all of the sightseeing. We did not get to get out on Lake Minnewanka, which was something our group wanted to see but we were pressed for time. Would recommend this tour!

Took the Larch Valley hike tour. The whole team was fantastic. Tour was really well organised. Guides were super friendly and informative. They kept a comfortable pace for everyone in the group and we learned a lot about the park and its wildlife along the way. Larches were changing colour, views were incredible. Lunch was very tasty and substantial. We even had time to visit Moraine lake at the end. Loved the hike and highly recommend Discover Banff Tours.

This was my second time booking with Discover Banff Tours, and the second time doing the Larch Valley guided hike. It was wonderful! Tina was a great guide, it was a great pace of a hike, the views were awesome, and the lunch provided was great. A hassle-free way to experience Moraine Lake.

We took the full day “Discover Grizzly” tour and it was amazing! Our tour guide Rob was really nice and knowledgeable, and we got to see some stunning views. Boo also came right up to the fence, so we got to see him super close. Would definitely recommend the company and the tour!

Bobbie was amazing. So knowledgeable. We learned so much and had a wonderful time. Plus if you want to see Lake Louise and Moraine Lake - Don’t mess around with local transportation - we heard from others it was not efficient. Discover Banff Tours is the BEST!

The company was okay. I took one in the morning and took one in the afternoon. 2 of their vans arrived at our location on time and told us we would be on the 3rd van that should be there momentarily. The 3rd van arrives 45 mins later, The company didn’t bother to tell anyone that the van was running this late. Things happen beyond one’s control but they had control of communicating with us. It was pouring rain and cold. The driver was apologetic and did feel bad. No complaints with him just that communication was horrible with the company and our tour was cut short to the Lakes. (The best part of Banff). I doubt I use them again.

I wasn’t part of the tour group. I was stopped admiring a bird and the tour stopped along side. I asked the tour guide if she knew what kind of bird it was. She said yes. Then I had to ask her what kind it was and she told me go download an app. The answer and then a recommendation to the app would have been a nicer response. Not a helpful lady. I would think as a tour guide you’d want to advocate wildlife knowledge and share as well as present the company you work for in a good manner.

Amazing experience! Francis was our tour guide and he had a lot of great information about the park and surrounding wildlife. He knew the best spots to see the wildlife and was very kind, dropping us back to the exact location of our car.we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide and experience overall. Thanks Francis and Banff tours!

We did the Consolation Lakes hike and enjoyed it thoroughly. Max was our tour guide and he did an amazing job! He was fun, knowledgeable and a sincere lad. On our way there, he also stopped when he sighted a bear, took great pictures of every one of us at the key stops and prioritized safety! Kudos to Discover Banff Tours.

We loved our tour to the Lakes. Liam was a great tour guide and our small tour bus size was just right. The lakes were gorgeous and we would not have felt like we had a complete trip to Banff without this afternoon trip. Comfortable, clean and well worth it.

We had Max as our guide and driver. He was on time to pick us up and the bus was very clean and comfortable. It’s a small group making it much more pleasant for those that don’t like crowds. Max pointed out interesting things along the way. Once we arrived, he made himself available on all trails to take pictures and answer questions. Highly recommend!

We did the sunset wildlife safari and had a great time! Max was our tour guide and he was so informative and knew all the right spots to look. He even offered some insight on local things to do where we stayed during our visit. Max made the trip all the better.

An excellent morning tour of the local Banff area with our excellent guide Heidi. Her passion and love of the outdoors shone out from the start and her knowledge of the area, wildlife and nature is amazing. Can thourghly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Tyler Buck, was a fun and experienced person. He is an excellent story teller. We saw two herds of elks and a coyote. It was upsetting that we couldn't see many other animals, but that's the nature of wildlife safary tours.

Did a tour of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Tour was excellent. Our guide was Bobby and I don’t think there was a thing he didn’t know about the park. Very informative and very relaxed. Enough time at each of the lakes to take in all the views and explore a little, and I’m always going to love any tour that gives me those maple cookies. Those are nom nom! Definitely recommend. I’ve booked two more tours already.

We participated in a fantastic tour on the afternoon of June 21. Our Driver/Tour Guide was Nicole (sp?), and we learned so much about the beautiful Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. She was a first-rate guide, and took special care of her group!

I recently did the Spray River horse trail and it was amazing! Thank you so much to Beth at Discover Banff for arranging the trip for me, and also to Emma from New Zealand who led the ride, she was awesome!

Ordered a gift card (Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary) supposedly for my kid’s teacher. Didn’t receive the gift card after purchase. Tried calling the next day asking for a refund and i gave them all the needed information. Finally, their agent Alyssa Lowe was able to track it. She asked me if i wanted a refund, said yes because school is already over and this was 2 days after date of purchase. Just received another email from Alyssa that they will no longer give me a refund because i got what i paid for. Scammers!

Amazing full day trip from Banff to Athabasca Glacier. Our guide Kelsey was friendly and fun, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour - I especially liked her star ratings for bathrooms throughout our trip:)
Kelseys knowledge of the area and its history was outstanding and her personal recommendations for eating out in Banff were excellent. Highly recommend this trip!

Our travel agent messed up on the two tours we had booked. We called and Banff Tours made it work for us. So pleasant to work with as well. Will definitely book with this tour company in the future. Jake was our tour guide for both. He really made it fun and we learned a lot as well. Thank you for making our trip so much fun!

Stunning views of the Glaciers and Lake Louise. We passed through some snow on the trail. Our guide Buck was very knowledgeable on the history off Banff and focused on our safety. Booking was easy as well as the pickup and drop off.

We booked an evening wildlife tour with Discover Banff Tours, in person rather than online, but they incorrectly booked us and failed to turn up to take us on tour. A full refund was issued but we were bitterly disappointed as had organised our whole day around the planned evening tour.

We stayed in Banff for 4 days and booked three Discover Banff Tours. All of them were a hit! It let us do and see so mich in so little time. I highly recommend the icefields tour. Jeff was knowledgeable, thoughtful and made it fun with his sense of humor. We also had Sébastien for the other two (shorter) tours and it was also a great experience.

The busses were comfortable and I like how the tour groups are not too big. The guides made sure we were on time and accountable.

The tours I went on was the gondola + wildlife, lake louise and the ice fields. Again, I would recommend them all!

These guys are the best! We had Neil for the Johnston Canyon Ice Walk which was incredible, and learnt a lot about the area’s Geology. We had Chris for the Lake Louise tour which was equally as amazing. The instructors are so informative on the history etc but also great at educating you in a conversational manner. Highly recommend:)

Very nice small groups of people. Other tours had big buses but not this one. Also both tour guides - was on the 2 hour evening wildlife tour and the 3 hour Banff tour - were very knowledgable and interactive. Would highly recommend this tour group.
