First time coming to Diva and I had a great experience. Got my haircut by Alex. He was efficient, attentive to detail and highly skilled. I have long hair and wanted to cut some of the weight off but keep most of the length. He gave me a trim on the ends allowing me to keep most of my length, but what really amazed me was how he did my layers and how much of an impact it made on giving my hair the body and volume it needed. I couldn’t stop looking at my hair when I got home this is probably the best haircut I’ve had in years. Thank you Alex for your amazing work!

I came here in the summer to have my hair fixed due to different Aveda salon that messed up my hair big time. It was only my first time here and the service I received was subpar to say the least.

It was a color correction and I was promised I would be put with the most senior stylist. Everything was fine at first, but they double booked me and I was passed to two additional stylists before I was done. (3 total).
Again, I didn't complain. But the senior stylist/ part owner came up to me infront of the other two stylists and told me to ensure I split up their tips properly.

I was really bothered by this. Of course I would leave an appropriate tip. But to pass me over twice and leave it on me to decide who gets what and in front of others made me so uncomfortable.

I wasn't impressed with my hair cut & although not horrible, my hair still wasn't what it should've been, Despite a 4 hour appointment.

8 months later I decided to give them another try. I talked to a lady who booked the appointment today and said everything was fine. 2 hours later she called me and said "due to the amount of missed appointments " I needed to pay $150 today for a deposit.

For reference, I've been coming to Aveda for 15 + years now. I've never no-showed on an appointment. I believe they booked me automatically. When I asked if they bothered confirming this mysterious appointment, they admitted they tried & I DID NOT confirm this appointment. Yet, still kept it anyways.

Really unimpressed with customer service & I guess they can afford to lose that kind of a loyal customer.

I have been a loyal Diva customer for more than 10 years and was so disappointed by my recent experience. From the (cold) greeting at the door to the quality of service - the whole experience has definitely diminished over the years. I brought my 4 year old daughter for a haircut (I get that not all salons are set up for kids - but this was her third visit, the first two were without issue - plus they offer prices for child's cuts). We were made to feel very unwelcome from the beginning and when it was my daughter's appointment time, I was told I could not go in to accompany her (also a change from the first two experiences and not related to being busy or lack of space).

Reluctantly, I relayed what I wanted for her cut and 30 minutes later was told I could come and see, only to find huge chunks missing from her bangs! To fix, the stylist had to go super short with her bangs and even then, we went home with an uneven fringe. Beaners could have done better for half the price.

My turn was no better. My 4 year old had to wait out of sight in the waiting room alone for the duration. At this time, the salon was nearly empty so it would have been possible for her to sit in any one of the vacant chairs next to me. Rush through the wash (no hot towel as I usually recieve), haircut was okay, but again rushed with a few uneven spots which I discovered once at home.

When I went to pay she rung my charge through. I then realized I had a credit for the service. After attempting something to reverse the charge so the credit could be applied, she shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do. Nearly $300 later and my daughter and I walked out the door without a thank you for coming or goodbye.

I used to rave about Diva but am now on the hunt for my next salon. So disappointing.

I’ve been to this location a few times and each time I come it is a very clean and comfortable environment! It smells so good inside the salon, and staff have always been professional whenever I’ve come.

I also want to give a special mention to my stylist Natully. I’ve been getting my hair cut by her for a few years and she never disappoints! I’ve had nothing but enjoyable salon experiences with her. I always receive compliments on my cuts whenever I get it done by Natully. She’s really skilled and even gives good recommendations for other salons when I ask for services that aren’t offered at Diva. I really appreciate seeing that kind of knowledge and professionalism from a stylist. Highly recommend.

Haircut, and my hair had never looked this good. I really love them. Brenda did an amazing job.

I went to Diva Salon for my first time last weekend. I was hesitant because I have been seeing the same person for years and I used to do hair myself. I was really impressed by the service. I had a stylist named Phoebe (I hope I spelled it right) and she was sooo good! I love my hair. She did the perfect blond ash and she was really easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I would highly recommended her and the salon:) 5 stars.

They are always friendly, accommodating and do a wonderful job here. They are open about pricing to make sure you know what you are getting and paying for. I've never had a bad cut or color here. Bonus: they are open Sundays and are an Aveda salon.

The butch Lindsay who is apparently the manager needs to be removed as she has severe issues and scares away the customers and is completely unprofessional because April and then staff are aged spoiled brats with no skills

Absolutely the most professional place I have ever been to get my hair done! April is so skilled and its obvious she has a talent and passion for what she does. I have never felt better! This salon is very well run and extremely clean, and organized. As a client I have sent 3 friends here and they have all been so happy and will never go anywhere else! The manager Lindsay is one of the worst humans beings I have ever had the misfortune of encountering and she literally has no customer service skills and is completely crazy. Who made her manager?

Sandy is the most amazing hairstylist ever! She went above and beyond what was expected. I haven’t had my hair cut in so long and was so nervous about having my hair chopped off. I’m so so happy with my hair. I would go to no one else. I received so many compliments. Thank you!

Great place. Super nice girls on reception desk. Stacy is a wonderful hair stylist and every time I go there I always get my hair done the way I like.

I seriously went home and cried. I showed the stylist (Sara) one photo of the last time I had my hair done and said I wanted the same thing (a short, bob-style). She didn't ask many clarifying questions, I ended up having layers (that I didn't ask for and were not in the photo I showed) that were very blunt and obvious. I told her this and she sort of fixed it but it still isn't what I wanted. She also styled it awfully at the end of the appointment. I went home and re-did it myself. I'm going to have to wear my hair curled or half up until it's long enough to fix. I paid 80$ for a cut that made me cry and does not make me feel confident at all. Will not be coming back.

So happy with my hair today after seeing Sandy. She did a beautiful job with my roots/highlights. The results are very natural, blended and bright. She is very skilled and I will definitely book with her again, I'd reccomend her to anyone looking for a new stylist. The receptionist was also very friendly and accommodating. Great experience!

Excellent place to get your cut from. I get my haircut from Natully and shes by far the best I've ever seen. She listens to what I want and she always open to give advice. One thing shes very strong in are her fades. They're absolute flawless and I guaranteed you won't be disappointed! I am strongly proud to say she is my barber! Also the staff are very friendly and they make you feel welcomed. If i can rate higher than a 5 I would!

Used to be worth your time. They lost their talent, then they lost their service. Now the owners would rather you cater to them then they cater to you. Don't go here guys. The shops in Kensington and Inglewood and mid17th are much better.
