I have had the pleasure of being a loyal client of Alex's journey from Seton to Legacy and now to the South Centre location, and I couldn't be happier. Throughout various manicure, pedicure and facial appointments, she consistently delivers exceptional results. Alex's warm and professional demeanour creates an inviting atmosphere, ensuring that each visit is a comfortable and relaxing experience. Anticipating my appointments with her has become a delightful routine for me every few weeks. She has an unwavering dedication to her craft and her clients – truly an outstanding Diva employee!

I have to say the level of professionalism and friendliness of the staff here is excellent! My 1st visit years back (like 5-7 years ago) was subpar and today I’m very happy with the salon service that I received. The front ladies, Kaitlyn and Emma especially Emma they were both helpful and I will be working with Emma for my make up application soon.
Today I worked with Keara and she’s super informative, great personality and I’m thinking of working with her again once I’m ready to colour my hair. She did a scalp treatment and I highly recommend this treatment for anyone with scalp issues! I like Aveda products as well as they seem to offer a more plant based vegan natural products. Anyway, visit this salon and try them!:)

Will not let you bring baby. Can't find this policy anywhere on website. Basically they are telling new moms they are not aloud to take care of themselves.

Way to turn away week day day time cliental and income for commison based workers. That employee with open times today probably doesn't appreciate you leaving there schedule open.

Had hair cut in Feb at chinook location with baby and not a single person spoke or mentioned this rule.

Payton at diva Southcentre is an artist and a master at dyeing and cutting. I’ve never had such good styles before

By far the best hair salon experience I have had in years. At 64 I feel invisible in most salons. Payton was simply superb and made me feel relaxed and pampered.

She did everything from offering me a choice of scents for the products she was going to use, to the shoulder and head massage and the perfect cut. I never felt uncomfortable, hurried or like her mind was elsewhere. She gave great advice about not coloring my hair.

The salon itself is excellent. They surprised me with a "first time" gift that was very generous. I will definitely be back.

Paulina, the esthetician, was absolutely fantastic! Super personable, had great conversation and went above and beyond. Would love to see her again. Thank you!

I went in this place for the frist time that's was my mistake went there for cutting I ask them for layers she cut my hair straight it's not looks layers I'm so Disappoint what done to my hair not happy I will never go again in my life 1I'm not recommending this place

I had highlights and a cut done and when I got home I noticed my sweater had dye all over it. I will never go back to Diva Southcentre again. I wish there was an option to give no stars.

I see Sophie for my hair and Mandi for esthetics. Both these lovely ladies are as talented and kind as they come.
Sophie is gifted at colour. She has worked with me to transform me to platinum blonde (and never damaged my hair) and then got me back to a natural light beige blonde once I got tired of platinum.
Mandi does my lashes (lash tint) and brows (wax + tint) and she just nails the definition and colour that I'm after. I saw her a month ago and my lashes and brows still look amazing.

Braden was absolutely amazing I love my haircut and will be coming back. I’ve been using aveda in my hair for a few months now and I love it I will never go back.the styling foam leaves my hair so soft, shiny and smells absolutely amazing!

Megan, the lady in front booked an appointment for me October 9,2022 at 3 pm with Sarah. I am here now and Megan is telling me there is a mixed up someone else has appointment at 3 pm. I have the card with her own hand writing saying it and she still says there is a mix up you don't have any appointments you have to reschedule.

Payton is an excellent colorist and stylist. Along with being professional, Payton also exudes warmth and a sincerity.

Management keeps removing my review. I’ll keep reposting until I am contacted. Management needs a HUGE shift. Very disgusting how they treat their employees. Shoutout to Thalia and Becky for not knowing how to run a business effectively/properly.

If you’re looking to be taken care of to the max, go here! Thalia, the salon manager, was phenomenal! Super helpful staff, realistic prices, clean and fun atmosphere and the staff are always smiling! Thank you for the great experience!

Diva is absolutely 100% the best salon I have ever been to. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating and the products they sell are amazing. The stylists are all so professional and talented and the frontline girls are the sweetest. Allison at the front is an angel and if you come to this salon you will definitely have an enjoyable experience!

Was very disappointed in the service at this salon. Went in there today just to buy a lotion of the shelf waited for about 5 minutes while she sat there talking on the phone not once acknowledging me. She gave me a dirty look and I put the product down and walked out.

I went to Diva for the first time this week and had my hair cut by Alexis. She was awesome! Super friendly and kept checking in to make sure I liked the cut she was giving me. I would definitely go back!

I love how clean and bright Diva is, and getting my hair done by Lindsey L! She’s one of the only stylists I’ve had that listens to what I want, and educates me on what’s doable and the process of everything. Plus she’s just super fun to talk to and down-to-earth. I am very happy with the results I walked out with. I have exactly the colour I wanted, which was a little tricky due to it being the colour of my natural hair colour 30 years ago. Alexis made sure to keep checking that I was happy with it.
The store was very clean and all protocols were followed. I felt very safe and not at risk at all there.

Unless you book with Chelsea, don't go here to get your hair done. I have very low maintenance hair; incredibly straight, really thick, and unbelievably easy to take care of. I went to get my hair done in December 2019 and my hair is still wrecked. I can't brush it after I shower because of the knots, and after a day, my hair is so matted. My hair is constantly knotted, which prior to my experience here, has never happened.
My normal hairdresser was out of town last year for Christmas, so I opted to go to Diva because I've had a couple of great experiences with Chelsea. I guess she had called in sick so they gave me the option of trying someone new, which I agreed to but my hair has never been the same.in the worst way possible.
I recently went back to my girl (who's an independent hair dresser) and the first thing she asked was what happened to my hair. I got balayage done at Diva and the colour was nice but the texture of my hair has been ruined. It's a nightmare. More times than not, I end up in tears from trying to brush my hair. My girl seems to think they over processed my hair. Obviously I am not a hair stylist so I don't know what actually happened, but I've really struggled with my hair for almost an entire year now.

Unfortunately, my appointment for colour got cancelled the same day. I booked it about a week in advance. They did offer a discount if I wanted to reschedule; however, not always times will work.

I’ve always had a great experience here. The aesthetician I see for my waxes is amazing and does a great job. However, during my last visit, I was charged a $5 PPE charge. Now, I get that the current COVID situation and government mandates for PPE have a significant financial impact on businesses, but passing this cost onto the customers is inappropriate and unreasonable. The charge was not for the mask that was provided to me (I had the option of bringing my own, but since I had to pay $5, I chose to take theirs and save mine for later). Instead, the charge is for the PPE that the Diva staff are required to have. This is a business expense, not a customer expense. If they are going to continue charging this, then they might as well call it what it is and up the price of their services by $5. I will keep coming to the salon because I love my aesthetician, but I certainly won’t be investing in other services.

Kelly did an amazing job with my hair and was very personable and easy to talk to! My hair looks so much healthier and I feel much better!

I asked for a sholder length hair cut. I gave her 18 pictures of thge exact cut I wanted. I waited 2.5 years to get it cut so I could have a dramatic amazing new cut and get rid of all the dyed bottoms.she barely took an inch off and decoded to leave me under the dryer for 30 minutes.she said. Oh we can check the length after.she never gave me a chance again to tell her I wanted another 4 inches off! She just kept checking her watch. She left me with wet hair like a drowned rat and never bothered to check if it was ay all even. I had huge long chunks left when I got home, showered and straightened it. I have no idea why she refused to listen to me, I told her I never wore it curly.maybe she was feeling lazy and didnt want to dry and straiten it. I cried for 20 minutes as I just spent 75$ even tough I am unemployed. I am so sad. I will never be back! I now have to go to first choice as its all I can afford to get the cut I asked for.

I have been Annalisa's client for about 10 years. She is amazing, She also helped with my hair during some health issues, taking time to research my illness to make sure of shampoo products I could use. Each time I come here, I leave feeling ten times better than I did going in. A highly educated staff plus a welcoming environment are a fantastic combination! My stylist Annalisa is incredibly talented and I am always so happy with the services I receive - both on the salon side and in the spa.

I've been going to Diva Salon and Spa Southcentre for several years now. The girls at the front are always very friendly in person and on the phone.

Annalisa is my main hair stylist and she is absolutely amazing. I have grey hair that as I am getting older, the roots are starting to stand out more and more. Annalisa helped me to lighten up my hair with highlights to a point where my roots don't show up as easily and I am able to feel confident more of the time between appointments. I trust her expertise entirely with my hair and she is also an amazing person and so fun to talk with.

I've also had appointments with the different estheticians for brow waxes. The appointment is always very relaxed and the girls are very friendly and nice to chat with. I absolutely love how my brows look afterwards!

I highly recommend going to this Salon.

After my previous stylist left me to pursue environmental sciences, I was lost on finding someone who I trusted to cut my hair and was okay with my constant changes in how I wanted it. And then I came here and found Elizabeth. She's amazing. The salon is lovely. Neck and shoulder massages are always a plus and that they serve beer and liquor (at an extra charge, of course) is wonderful. I was so intimidated at first but the front staff are so friendly it was much easier to make an appointment than I anticipated. It's my new home for haircuts!

I had a great lash lift and tint service here. The esthetician was knowledgeable and professional. I will certainly be coming back!

The experience was just 'okay. ' I didn't feel as though there was enough communication about why the colour was completed the way it was. I also felt extremely pressured to purchase products because it sounded like my expensive hair was going to fade out if I didn't.

I took my mom and we had a blast! It’s licensed so that’s fun for a girl’s day. Everyone there was so nice and work as a happy team which is always great! Max is wonderful, he did both of our hair cuts and I think they were the best ones we’ve ever had! We felt spoiled rotten and thought the price was amazing! I’d recommend it to anyone! I’m actually going to book another appointment today:)

I love coming to this salon, i get my hair done by Carolyn she is very knowledgeable about the products and always makes my hair look on point! I highly recommend her. The salon staff is also very friendly. Aveda products are the best and the only products I will ever use I’m hooked for life thank you Diva!

Hit or miss with the stylists. I feels than during the years this place has become more of a higher end great clips location. I had two stylists I liked for cutting my hair but two years after they moved somewhere so you never find the same people. I have been there on quite a few occasions and unless you have a stylist you love working there or a good referral then you could find finding yourself gambling who will be doing your hair. For colour, don’t gamble on that, I had had three bad experiences here with different stylists, they didn’t really do what I asked for and ended up very unhappy with the results and the price was not cheap either. I would not do any hair colouring here unless you know the stylist.
Haircuts are better for sure but still not the best. You need to be very specific on what you want otherwise you ended up getting something else. I would come here for a hair cut or styling but not for colours unfortunately.

From the moment you enter the salon to the end of your appointment, Diva is a wonderful experience. The front end staff is so sweet and helpful. They immediately put you at ease. My Hair Artist was Max and even though he is listed as new talent, it is apparent that he has already earned his title as Hair Artist. Most anyone can be taught to cut hair but this Hair Artist begins working his magic the moment you sit in the chair. Max will discuss with you, and LISTEN TO YOU, about your hair wants and needs. He will lovingly guide you through the process of finding the best solutions for your hair concerns and you will leave there feeling incredible about yourself. I know taking a chance on a new stylist or a new salon can be an anxiety filled time, but I can assure you that Max and Diva Salon will not disappoint.

After some previous bad experiences with salons, I was a bit skeptical on trying out a new place. I had a haircut with Chelsea and it was absolutely amazing and refreshing. I made an appointment with Ali after reading his fantastic reviews online. I moved to beautiful Calgary a few months ago from the UK and wanted to find a hairdresser who would get my hair back into condition and advise me on a style that would suit me. Ali listened and asked lots of questions about what I was looking for before starting and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. He is someone who obviously really cares about his profession and has a lot of talent. Thanks Ali. I am already looking forward to the next appointment.

I saw Hailey recently for a facial and it was the most incredible service I’ve ever had. There wasn’t one moment I didn’t feel 100% relaxed and pampered. She is professional and welcoming in everything she does and never fails to impress me!

Ali is the only one I go to at any Diva Salon location, he is the only hairdresser I go to in general. He is a wonderful hairdresser and ALWAYS makes sure his clients are happy and comfortable. He gets excited with you about your hair cut. His true passion towards his profession is shown through his art work. 10/10 hairdresser. Ask for Ali <3

I've been seeing Christina at Diva South Centre for a couple of years now. I have struggled in the past to find a stylist that I can trust, and I'm very happy to have found Christina! Not only does she listen to my ideas, and does a fantastic job with my cut and colour, but she is friendly and we have a great conversation throughout my appointment. She styles my hair beautifully and I always leave feeling great!
