I badly needed a haircut for a long time and was very skeptical where should I get it done since I moved to Calgary. I came across Diva's market mall location and thought of looking at the services. The receptionist friendly and welcoming response got me booked instantly an appointment for haircut. Chaely did an awesome job I must say. The haircut had in my mind she listened to me and exactly gave the same look. The service started with relaxing head massage, leading to shampooing and deep conditioning and again massage before my haircut and styling included curl cream and diffuser. I think I have found my hairstylist for a lifetime!

Vanessa is amazing! She did the most beautiful job with my colouring, and is so professional and kind. I can’t rave enough about her! Her product knowledge and expertise is so impressive, and she’s really fun to chat with while you’re having your hair appointment. I’ve loved every stylist I’ve had at diva. Angela is also so lovely! The detail and care they put into their services is so appreciated.

Lily always cuts my hair and did a whole colour correction for me and it’s always been perfect! Super relaxing head massage, beautiful cut she works with me to customize, and always sm fun!

Hello, I went in for the first time and asked for an appointment. The girl I spoke with initially was very nice. As I waited for my turn, a woman came and asked if your daughter was okay with sitting outside by herself because the salon was busy and there wouldn't be space for her to sit at the back. I agreed when she suggested that I rearrange my visit so that it will be less crowded. The other girl came out and saying this is our policy and we cannot watch over your child. First of all, I didn't ask for a watcher; I was only asking for my 5 year old stay with me while I had a haircut. Very disrespectful was the girl. I am aware that losing a client may not be a huge concern for them. But I merely wanted to inform my fellow single mothers, that you might be frown upon.

My 12 year old daughter had her hair cut and styled by Chaely today and had an amazing experience.
My daughter has had a bad experience not getting the cut she wanted and was very anxious going into this appointment. Chaely not only completed the exact cut and style she wanted but also made sureshe was comfortable the whole time. We will be coming back to see her!

I wear hijab and they offer excellent service. Really happy with the results, highly recommended.

Was there for haircut service appointment for my Wife but Backed away after seeing them treat a Single Mom with a Kid. Wanted to have the Kid while having Haircut sit somewhere close to her. Staff " we are not watching over your kid ". Mom said hey not asking you to watch my kid, just asking to have the kid sit close to her. No Empathy. Absolutely not recommend the service to anyone.

I have been getting my hair done by Chaely for several years now. Her haircuts are precise and she puts a lot of thought and attention into colour service. I count on her to give good advice on style, how much purple shampoo to use and what service I could use next. I feel lucky to have found her!

Today was my first time going into the store.the girl at the front was really rude and didn’t seem like wanted me and my friend to be there/help us.she was giving us attitude when we asked nicely if there is any bookings for today and she rolled her eyes and said no.when we said thanks she rolled her eyes again.never coming or even walking by this store ever.

Everyone I've dealt with at this salon has always been very professional, kind and accommodating. Tiffany in particular always goes above and beyond every time I see her, I can't say enough good things about her. She makes you feel comfortable and welcome and does an amazing job no matter the type of service. Thank you!

I had bad experience in this location. Bad styling. I learned not to switch from Salon. I just want to give them a chance to wow me. My frustration is. They have 2 different stylish styles your hair and end result is disaster. They don't value my time. My day off. I do deserve a nice curly hair because I pay for service. Don't try this location. Not worth it.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Chaely’s hair styling. Before I booked an appointment with her I wasn’t one to regularly get my hair done, ever since that appointment I haven’t looked back. There’s something to be said for the peace of mind a trusted hair stylist brings. 10/10 would recommend Chaely!

Had my hair done by Karen yesterday she did a great job and was so sweet! Such a relaxing atmosphere. I also had some waxing done, I forget her name unfortunately but again she did a great job, took her time & made sure I was happy with everything! Will definitely be back again:)

I called at very last minute for a haircut and they were able to put me with Dani. She was so accommodating and very friendly. I was tired from work and not very chatty but Dani knew exactly what I wanted right from the get go. I'm so glad I finally bit the bullet and had my first haircut since the pandemic happened. I left with shiny, bouncy hair in the length I wanted but with some shape. Dani really knew what she was doing as she was trying to make sure my thick hair didn't dwarf my face! Both my boyfriend and my brother were hyping me up when I showed them my hair because even they liked it (and they usually just set me up for a roast session LOL). Thanks again Dani! Definitely recommend.

Vanessa T is the BEST! Everytime I go in, come out looking like a million bucks with super healthy hair. She has a great diversity for color, styles, textures and never dissapoints

I had my hair highlighted by Kristen yesterday. She was so friendly, and did a fantastic job. I’m so happy with it and she did exactly the colour I wanted. Such a good apprentice!

Worse service ever. I was there for hair colour with their most experienced expert stylist for hair colour. Not only that she messed up with my colour, they were unable to fix it the next day. Although when they book appointments they reassure that they will be able to take care of it up to your satisfaction.
Not only that they were not able to reschedule the appointment for the next day even if I pay extra. Manager of the salon was not available for the entire weekend. Very disappointed with the services. Don’t recommend and will never go again.

Chaely is an up and coming talent to keep your eye on. She is incredibly talented (especially with balayage), intuitive with her work and makes sure to prioritize the guest's needs and requests. She is fantastic to work with and I highly recommend!

Chaely is amazing at balayage. She’s easy to talk to while you’re getting any service but I love the balayage she gave me and I have had so many compliments on the service I’ve had done. I would recommend Chaely for any service.

Had a little miscommunication that turned into a great experience! Had an appointment that wasn’t actually booked in (oops!). Market mall Diva hair salon was still able to accommodate me and got me in, but with a junior hair artist. I was a little nervous on seeing a junior hair artist but Shay was awesome. She totally got exactly what I wanted and did such a great job! I will definitely come back to her and recommend her. Thanks so much Shay!

I have been seeing Terri Lynn for years, she is really talented at what she does! Diva Salon is clean and professional, and I love the extra touches like the scalp massage, and option to have a drink or snack. Terri Lynn is hilarious, friendly, efficient and a pleasure to spend a couple hours with. She knows exactly how to cut my thick hair every time.

It was my first time meeting Chaely and her expertise, patience, professionalism, thoroughness, comforting manner, and friendliness very much impressed me. She did a great job and was gracious especially given the state of my hair after not cutting it for almost a year! She was also gentle in handling my hair and even did a dye patch test for allergies. Been coming here for the last 4 times or so! Hala is amazing! She gets my hair, my texture and knows exactly what's in style. She understands colour and skin tone to a T. That has been my issues with past stylist. She transformed my hair into colors and highlights I didnt know I could achieve. And my hair still feels healthy looking! And shes personable and sweet! Highly recommend her!

The salon itself is nice, but I had a very negative experience with the stylist there named Hala. I was told that the haircut I wanted wasn't "modern" (in a pretty insensitive manner), and then was given a haircut that I really don't like. What I wanted was a shoulder length angled bob, a bit longer in the front than in the back, with some layers. Hala initially cut one side of my hair at the length and angle I wanted, and then proceeded to cut the other side blunt and much shorter, so she then had to even out the side I liked. I ended up with a blunt, very square bob that was shorter than I wanted. She then styled my hair with curls, when I specifically told her multiple times I wear it straight. She said it was just the way she does things, but I believe it was to try to hide the fact that she made a mistake and did not give me the haircut I requested. When I told her I don't have time to curl my hair (toddler at home), she essentially rolled her eyes at me. I left the haircut feeling unheard, disrespected, and disappointed.

A message to Hala - consider being more sensitive to customers who are older than you who aren't perhaps as "modern". We still want to feel beautiful at the end of the day, and what is beautiful to us may not be the same as what is beautiful to you.

DIVA always does a great job with my cut and style. Chaely was amazing - I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was able to reproduce it as well as add some lovely soft beach waves to my hair at the end:) The salon was very clean and has a great, relaxing salon environment.

I have been going to Diva for a while now (years). My most recent experience I went in looking for some blonde colour in my hair, and they took me as a walk in customer during COVID. I was not completely satisfied and I was "that" customer who goes back and asks for a re-do. They were very polite, and more than met my expectations! They stand behind their services and I am always happy and keep coming back! Thanks so much Shaylee for being so understanding and dealing with me coming back a second time - I appreciate it:)

I saw Chaely yesterday for a full highlight and cut and I couldn’t be happier! She took my at home yellow splotchy bleach job and made it amazing. Considering my hair at 4 different shades/colours in it, she was still able to give me my dream icy blonde hair! I would 100% recommend going to see Chaely. She’s super friendly, professional and knows what she’s doing. She took her time with my hair, making sure she corrected every spot that was uneven which I’m sure was very tedious to do. This was my first time seeing her and will definitely be going back in the future!

I went in to see Hass today for a cut and colour touch up. He is excellent at his job. He's also one of the nicest guys. He is great at knowing what colour works best for me. His professionalism is admirable and doesn't sell me products that I dont need. I would recommend this hairstylist to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I left the salon crying because my color was not what I asked for. The stylist said she would talk to her manager and she would call me to figure out a solution to the problem. I never heard from either of them again. I do not reccomend this salon.

I like coming to this location! Megan always does my eyebrow waxing and she always does amazing job! The staff is really nice and approachable, they always help with any questions that you ask them! Thank you guys again for always giving tip top service! It’s very much appreciated!

Just last week I took my nephew to get his hair cut by Vanessa and he loved everything about it from he walk in the door to walking out!
I would highly recommend going to see Vanessa.

Andrea’s head massages are AMAZING. She is very professional, kind, and really cares about giving her clients a relaxing and comfortable experience which I really appreciate. Loved my hair too! I will definitely be back.

Wish I could give this review zero stars. Terrible place to get a facial. Extremely over priced and not a great facial. I could have done a better job at home. I have had many many facials before. This is the only facial I paid the most for and hard the worst experience. My skin feels super smooth and soft after a facial but not with this place. They gave me two gift cards after the facial. I had planned on getting a hydra facial but no thank you. I went back to return the scrub the girl suggested the day of my facial. Which I bought but decided the facial was terrible so I don’t want to try the product but they wouldn’t take it back only store credit and I had only been there once and didn’t know anything about their products nor did I want to. I took the scrub and gave them their gift cards back and told them I will not be returning.

I never received a call from the salon. No one ever told me the services were guaranteed for seven days. The person was new talent which means I was over charged. My boyfriend paid $181 plus tip. When I was quoted $115 to $145. I felt so bad about the price change I insisted and paid my boyfriend back. If I had know the service was guaranteed I would have returned sooner. Your manager offered me another facial at 50% off. Excuse me but why would I pay for another facial when you guys did such a mediocre job the first time. I don't want the scrub but I'm stuck with which was also $47 I might add. My boyfriend got his hair cut that day and between the two of us we spent $300 on that first and only visit. He also tipped his stylist too. When you're charging these kind of prices you should do a better job of addressing customer concerns. Why should I pay for another facial when I didn't get good service the first time. Your manager said she could put the store credit for the scrub towards a facial and give $30 off which was her other offer. Neither of those are acceptable to me. You should have redone my facial free of charge by an expert cause that's the price we were charged. That would have been the right thing to do. Considering you'd just be fixing your mistake so it isn't really free.

Got a balayage done by Chaely and I absolutely love it. I was scared about getting my hair bleached for the first time but she made me feel super comfortable about it and made sure I was taken care of. She was extremely meticulous through the 4 hours of work. The blend looks seamless and looks exactly like the picture I showed her. I also got a keune treatment done by her which left my hair feeling softer than when I went into the salon, even though I had just gotten it bleached. It has now been a year since I've gotten the balayage and It has grown out really nicely. I plan to get another balayage done by her to go lighter and bring the transition higher.

I've been seeing Chaely for over a year now and won't trust anyone else with my hair. If you're looking for someone who has incredible talent, I highly suggest her!

I’ve been to this salon a couple times and each time I had Chaely as my hair stylist. She is amazing at what she does, she takes her time cutting your hair, makes sure you are comfortable with the length, and the style throughout the hair cut. I never feel rushed out of there and always left loving my new hair cut. This salon also includes a oil head massage and hot towel service with each hair cut, which is a really nice and relaxing touch.

Vanessa is awesome! Today was the first time I tried this salon, the front desk staff are very nice and accomodating, the place is kept tidy and clean. Vanessa gave me a beautiful hair style and helped me find the right products to use. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

April is amazing! My hair was so bleach damaged, and she has restored my hair to feeling and looking much healthier, and happier. She is so friendly, compassionate, and she does a phenomenal job! ️

If you want to be treated well, and experience an amazing atmosphere I highly recommend this salon (which also includes a spa.) Service was top notch and staff was very attentive. I recently went elsewhere, and was devastated with the outcome on my hair. After that experience I was hesitant on anyone touching my hair. Needless to say I walked out of Diva Salon Spa feeling amazing with my hair results and finally confident again. Definitely will be a returning customer. Very Satisfied with services!

I went in asking for a dramatic makeover, needing a change and hadn't colored my hair in over 10 years. Although the first sitting was a beautiful result, it wasn't the one I was looking for. I was really nervous about to handle disappointment and I have to say that they really turned the situation around!

All the staff were great! From the woman who answered my call and listened compassionately to my story, the manager who took the time to call me back, reassure me, and came to introduce herself during my follow up session, and of course my stylist April, Thank you! I feel beautiful, strong, and inspired.
