Dollar Tree

I can see why their shares are falling. Unmarked things are supposed to be $1.50. Get to the cash register and they are more. One item marked on the shelf at one price was more other receipt. Not worth the trip. Very few things are cheaper than superstore and of lesser quality. Bad business practice, unclear pricing, and costly.

Avoid the Spa Soap refills. They were tampered with and watered down to the point of useless. This is not okay as a cost saving measure if they are watering soap down, what's next? !? !? !

Love this Dollar Tree, yeah yeah, yeah everyone's complaining about the boxes in the way but this store is my favorite out of all the Dollar Trees because of its variety of stuff and the staff is sweet. Yeah the rest of the stores are "neat" with no boxes in the way but thus store is the best because of the variety & staff:)

Don’t go here to work. They don’t value their staff at all. Someone who put all their blood, sweat, and tears into this company only to be fired for the dumbest reason. Alex is a horrible district manager. Don’t support this store. Dollar tree head office should be ashamed of themselves. Taking this matter to the labour board.

Dont leave the cash light on of your not going to serve the customer.was made to move my stuff to another till while with a stroller.the cashier should have taken me 1st instwad she served another before me.not very professional

This store has great staff. There is lots to choose from within many catagories.
My goto for many household & craft supplies.

Only reason it isnt a 1 star is because is friendly. The store is the messiest store i have ever seen though. Still found a couple things but it needs some serious organization. Whoever is in charge needs to spend some time making sure the store looks okay.

Very Friendly Ladies in the Morning, Heather and Tracy go out and beyond being helpful and very Friendly.

Sadly, this is a 1-star Dollar Tree.

I echo many of the other reviewers’ main concerns/criticisms:
1. This particular store has consistently been a mess: garbage strewn on the floor, unclean floors etc. (The last time I was in, there was a vape pod at the bottom of my basket?)
2. It is consistently in a state of major disorganization: wayward Christmas décor items on certain shelves, carts and baskets aren’t consistently in one place, and merchandise isn’t all grouped together/hung appropriately. Personally, I felt visually overstimulated, disoriented and mildly frustrated from having to sort through all the shelves/bins etc.
3. There are carts with unopened merchandise boxes in most aisles, often blocking shelves with merchandise.

I recognize that I am being a bit of a broken record repeating similar themes from other reviews, sadly.

I will say that the cashier I had was wonderful. She was very kind, efficient and helpful with my purchase. This came after they (seemingly reluctantly?) opened up a second till, as there were at least 8-10 groupings of people in line.
They do also seem to have their dishes & glassware aisles more or less tamed, along with the food aisles.

TLDR; Shop here for the $1.25 flat-rate price if the visual chaos, disorganization, uncleanliness, accessibility & fire hazards won’t hinder you too much.

It's messy. There is one cashier on and their are 15 people in the lineup. I'm leaving and paying more to go to party city

Bad service, when you ask a question they don't respect, listen, or answer your question they even don't look on your face! Also at 8: 45 they closed the door!

This place is a mess, I don't think it would pass a fire inspection for how many boxes and goods are strewn about all the aisles and on the floor. I had been here about a year ago and it was the same thing. I guess it's a habitual problem for this location.

This store should absolutely not be open! Safety violations as far as the eye can see. Not only is it super messy and unkept, not only are there carts with towering leaning boxes down every asile, but there are also products scattered all over the floor. I almost tripped on a bottle of hair spray on the floor in the kitchen goods asile. Which is 4 asiles away from the toiletries asile. It's super concerning.

Update: 3 weeks later November 19. Despite receiving a phone call from the district manager assuring me that this would be looked into and fixed, this place is still a huge safety hazard!

It’s very messy compared to other dollar tree stores I’ve been in. There are so many boxes on carts that cover a lot of the products I was trying to get to. After going there once, I’ve avoided it since then. I would recommend them getting rid of access material and getting a proper stocking system that keeps it from becoming so cluttered.

Very messy place, this location is never neat, you always have to move boxes around to be able to see the items, the shelves are not replenished regularly, you’ll always feel that the store is empty, that’s because everything is in the boxes instead of where they’re supposed to be displayed. The floors are sticky and dirty. The staff there are not helpful (not all of them of though), their ‘manager’ has her own rules unlike the other locations. This location definitely needs a lot of work to improve.

Absolutely disgusting store. Boxes and garbage every where. Zero organization, stuff piled anywhere and everywhere. Staff were very rude and not helpful at all. I walked in looked around couldn't find a thing I went in for. The older cashier was loud, rude and condescending. If I were you I'd stay away from this store. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Wish I read the reviews before going here.

Don’t buy those card packs,
I found a special pack inside of one of the boxes went to buy it was told it wasn’t for sale, this is upsetting seeing as how I like to shop here.
There’s no purpose in buying those packs.
To bad I didn’t figure this out until this incident happened.
Other than that this is a good store just a lot of boxes blocking stuff.

Do not shop here its completely gross never clean boxes everywhere the employees are rude I called to talk to the manager and the lady was rude about it I definitely wouldn't be shopping here anymore I'll make the 3 km more drive and go to dollarama at south common

Do not shop here its completely disgusting and dirty boxes all over the place you cant get a wheelchair or stroller through it's never clean I HIGHLY recommend going to dollarama its cleaner and way much better plus better stuff and way better nicer employees

Refused to hire me because I'm a Male I don't recommend this location dollarama is way better I've already emailed head office and filed a complaint Hopefully itll be under new owner and management soon

I highly recommend that you do not shop here dollarama is way better plus you can walk through the stores without tripping on boxes its completely dirty and the employees are all rude and stuck up

My dogs wont even eat the treats from here I dont blame them I HIGHLY recommend that you do not shop here Hopefully head office will listen to these reviews I see alot of people who hate this location I will never buy anything from here ever again I'm returning the treats today I'll be leaving them on the counter of they refuse to return my $125

Terrible customer service, today at 8: 16pm many people was trying to get supplies from the office area and one woman who was moping not because was wet, just because they suppose to mope for closing time, did not allowed to get anything from the area, you need to be clear what time is your closing time 9: 00pm or 8: 16pm. Yes cheap products but cheap service as well.

Don't expect to be server right away sometimes no-one is at the cashier. Only 1 employee in the whole store attending 1 line and 5 ppls

What a pathetic store, why is the owner so c heap and hire more than one cashier, very dirty store and disorganized, which means poor management.

Absolutely awful customer service. Granted, it is a "dollar store" but rudeness to customers should never occur. When calling to ask a question and i am told "just come to the store and find it": (there are so many other similar stores that THIS one in particular does not need any more business apparently

This dollar tree store is disgusting. It was completely disorganized with opened boxes of products all over the store. It was difficult to navigate amongst all the clutter. I couldn't tell if the store is in a state of closing down or maybe a seasonal change over of products. The staff were helpful and provided decent customer service though.

Just a warning to the people don't go to this Dollar Tree it was very dirty and I was insulted Two Times by the staff.

I think the lady is the manager of the store, who is super rude. I hate going to that store cos of her.

I used to visit this store every now and then instead of Dollarama because they have lots of kids activity books with stickers but i visited the store twice this week and didn’t find the correct books and there is a very grumpy thin tall lady with long hair she treated her colleague badly as well as the customers, threw a pair of socks aggressively into one of the side carts to open her cashier and mumbling with unclear words

Their was a supervisor training a new worker who was amazingly patient and friendly even though the new worker was very slow. Place is pretty chaotic and messy. Seems like one of those places that defies time. It felt like I was there for an hour. But it was only 5 minutes.

I prefer Dollar Tree over any other dollar stores. The price is a set $1.25. I go out of my way to go to thia location for party supplies as it's the closet to me.
