I love, love this store. They usually have what I need and restock quite frequently.the staff here are so helpful and kind. Neat and tidy and very clean.
Literally rudest employee stocking shelf ever aisle 6. Tosses the box when we try to walk by as she's sitting on floor. Maybe stock store at night to avoid customers.
More like a $4store. Not my go-to dollar store anymore thanks to rising prices. I've found many of the same items at lower prices and better quality at Walmart. Still shop here for the craft supplies, kitchen stuff, and storage containers.
Being a broke 14 year old I gotta love dollarama cheap snacks and drinks and this location is quite clean and nice pretty much exactly what you need from any dollarama. If your a broke teen like me get used to dollarama bro.
One of the better Dollarama stores. Disabled parking is right up front right at the door where it should be. Thank you for this! Always a good selection of stuff. I want to give a shout out Prya who was very helpful to me when I checked out the last time I was in there. I want management to acknowledge her for her excellent customer service. She recognized I had a disability and that I had a fair bit of stuff. She didn't hesitate to jump in and help me scan everything so that I was out of the store quicker. This was very nice of her and it was a nice change as most times I am giving grief for my disability. What she did really made my day and it reduced the pain I was experienced while I was shopping. 100 stars to her and management should really acknowledge her for this. Her example of helping somebody who needed help should be something that is taught to all staff. She really made my day.
Not busy at all. Shelves well-stocked with both Halloween AND Christmas decorations, so that's staying on top of commerce; good job corpo-rama. Extremely disappointed but not entirely surprised when I got home, energized the Halloween decorations requiring batteries and found them INSTANTLY broken and malfunctioning, but because the store has a clearly posted NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES policy, they'll not take it back. Dollarama is scamming its patrons HARD. Lame-sauce, yo.
Store was great and they have self serve now which made things faster. I would have given I higher rating but I park in the handicapped spot as I am mobility challenged and they had shoveled snow into that spot from off their sidewalk making getting parked and out of my vehicle extremely difficult.
Looks good in the store and workers are friendly. The self checkout I could do without, one girl there running around to sanitize the tills when the stores packed I felt bad. Have the option maybe of self checkout or full service.
Worst service in edmonton so far I received. I was looking for a stuff all over the store couldn't find out with my little baby when i asked the customer service person for help she not even look at me doesnt have a courtesy to look out customer face and answer.she was so rude the way she answered, she was busy talking to other person in other language doesnt bother about am asking for help. With rude voice saying if you couldnt find then no stock not even looking at my face really felt so bad when i informed to the front desk cashier they said person whom i meant is a supervisor for night. She is not at all capable to be a customer service but she is supervisor first she needs to get training for customer service. Such a Bad experience
I went to the south common dollarama this morning. The first 2 employees I passed were not wearing masks. The next couple of aisles I passed 3 more that were wearing masks over their mouths but not their noses. Finally in the last aisle I ran into an employee and a lady from Hallmark. They were the only 2 employees actually wearing their masks properly. I made a point of thanking them! I found it hilarious that after what I had just experienced they have an announcement about safety protocols they are following. I have noticed that pricing has been going up at all the Dollaramas to the point where Walmart is actually cheaper on some items. I bought a box of milk duds for $1.50 and when I opened them the chocolate was all dried out and white and crispy. I called and was told everything is final sale. Overall amazing experience.
At two of the asiles there was a sticky mess. I mentioned this to two people. The first person was afraid to leave Her post to deal with this. At the checkout after shopping for what i needed i mentioned this to the second clerk i saw and she called someone.
Excellent selection of items both seasonal and everyday items. Store was clean and merchandised logically. They now that self serve checkouts to speed up the process. There are enough parking spaces outside and easy to access the store.
During the days of Covid-19' it is nice to get out. We were pleased to see Dollarrama was still available for the public to buy all the craft supplies in order to keep our children occupied while they are not in school. Good on ya. Keep up your spirits and the constant cleaning.
My father and I have been going to this location for years. My father has a service dog for his disability, which is not usually visible to those around us. He always has her identification card in his wallet. He always talks to the staff and security, telling them she is a service dog and asking if they want to see his card. When we went in today he did all of that and the staff said it was all okay. Well we shopped for about 20 minutes and had a full cart of items we were excited about buying. We were actually customers in this store. After 20 minutes the security guard comes up and asks my dad to leave. I re-explain to him that she's an actual service dog and ask if the guard wants to see the ID card. He just says they don't allow pets. I tell him again she is a working, professional service dog. He says it's a store policy and it says on the door to the building that there is a sign that says no dogs. I tell him that she's not a pet and my dad cannot be in public without her. So I told the guard if he's saying that his service dog is not allowed inside then my dad is going to have to leave. It was very upsetting and discriminatory. We ended up leaving because we didn't want to cause a scene. But we weren't able to buy anything we went there for and we will not be returning. It was very rude and when we went to check the door there was no notice saying service dogs weren't aloud. There was just a general "no dogs" sticker on the door. I just thought other people should know this is how they treat their customers, and I'd encourage you to shop at a different location.
Really appreciate that the staff are very polite but keep to themselves in a way that I don’t feel judged for not being able to take less than 30 minutes to decide on a soap.
Awesome place to get thing for organising your kitchen or toys you know your kind will play once n brake it or things for arts n craft. It's an awesome place to get things when you are on a budget or don't want to spend much.
Everything thing is $4 or less you can get foods, and toys even pet supplies, dishes, camping supplies literally everything but it does go up like a dollar every couple of years and at this moment the only thing you can get for more than $4 is gift cards
The people they got working at this location got no manners and have no idea how to deal with the customers. One of the staff members knocked my son down im sure it was an accident. But no apology or anything just kept walking.
Dollar stores certainly are not what they used to be. They have a wide variety of stock and the quality of items sold have increased quite a bit over the years.
I usually go here to buy decorations for special occasions. Today I bought stuff and I got Lay's BBQ in a tube container. When I opened it at home, it is only filled in half and the silver liner is already open.
