The guy in the orange hoodie would not even let us purchase our items needed or we were coming in there in a calm manner the second time my girlfriend is hypoglycaemic and she has a stomach ache she wouldn’t be served and I had to pay extra money at shoppers in the mall. I am low budget. My girlfriend thinks it’s the manager they should not be doing that to people in those conditions.no one should come to the store.
Don't go to Dollarama at Boonie Doon. We walked into the store with a clam matter grabbed a Easter card and got some pop and got some chocolate bunnies. And we tried to go back in the store in a clam matter the store manager didn't want us to purchase any items at Bonnie Doon Dollarama. That Dollarama should be boycotted in Boonie Doon Mall.
My name is Nellie and I am a regular customer of Dollarama in the Bonnie Doon mall. I am pleased to bring to the public awareness the strengths of this store. It is managed by an experienced, ethical, hardworking, knowledgeable and genuinely caring manager by the name Tim. He is a strong team player, he trains his staff well and works with them daily. I found the store is always well stocked, very clean and well displayed. His employees are knowledgeable, hardworking, honest, genuine, caring and walking extra miles daily. I sensed humility and excellent work ethic among the staff members. When you enter the store, you find many items at reasonable prices as advertised and genuine welcome. Tim, manager not only has strong communication skills, management skills but good listening skills, he is treating his staff with respect, trust and appreciates their daily contributions and he is not taking them for granted. I wish them well and continued success.
Dollarama is great. It's like Costco - you go in for a couple of things and come out with 5 bags full of goodies that you can't say no to because they might not be there when you go back a few days later.
One of the largest Dollarama I have shopped. There is a impressive selection of goods to shop. Staff were visible and friendly I will return to this location soon
I think that the store would had a person service. All wares are tranplaye to the guest there for customers oure understand About the goods and by us sale. Thank You Very much so again.
For a Bonnie Doon mall location this store is pretty loaded and stocked well. I love saving money and there are just too many things on the open market that typical box stores are marking up way to high (I'm talking to you Canadian Tire! RIP off). As boring as it sounds I would highly recommend having a good walk through of the place. See what they have. And the next time you need a minor item you might have seen it in Dollarama for $4 or less. Just sayin.
It's ok in a pinch. Basically only when I'm shopping at No Frills. There's no vibe in this store and I don't care for the lighting, reminds me of of a really cheap motel.
I find dollarama very expensive nothing like when they started. You could easily find better prices when it come to groceries like tomato sauce, pastas, instant mashed potatoes, rice, etc, etc. You often find things like these on sale at mayor groceries store at better prices. PLEASE CHECK PRICES BEFORE YOU PUT THINGS IN THE CART. I only buy things of $1.25.
They are a great stock of items. Staff somewhat rude, unfriendly. Good for supplies if you need at a good price, but you dont come here to meet friendly staff.
Not a huge fan of dollar stores that distribute products that are more than a dollar. However this location does have a wide variety of merchandise that appeals to my needs and taste. Even tho some items retail at $4. It sure beats paying almost 10 any where else.
Aug 17-2018 @ 1800 hrs. For dollar stores, i would say this is one of the best i have been in. This place is large and well stocked with low priced items. Keep in mind you get what you pay for. High quality items not in stock. The shelves were neat and organized which is a pleasure as many of the dollar stores hav such a large inventory the workes seem to jam it on the shelves. There were 2 things that could be improved on 1.) The horrible music playing through the PA system at too high a volume. 2.) Which might stem from #1, the workers yelling directions at each other from one end of the store to the other in an unknown language
