The big plus about Downtown Dental is that they are genuinely concerned; they listen and care.
My dental issues are numerous. When I'm at the clinic, and even in the chair, all staff make me feel safe and respected.

Hygenist Sarah explained everything as she was doing all the cleaning procedures & made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment process. She is a very professional & knowledgeable dental hygenist. Dr. Whitney reviewed the x-rays with me & gave my teeth & mouth a thorough checkup & explained what she was doing & why & what should be looked at at my next appointment in 2024. She made sure I understood & was comfortable with the appointment process & results. The two staff members at the reception area were very welcoming & professional in handling the billing process & next appointment. Everyone at Downtown Dental is friendly＆made my time there comfortable. I highly recommend Downtown Dental.

I just moved to Calgary, and I was looking for a dentist. I saw their sign stating new patients welcome, and I am glad I walked in. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. I love the fact that i could stop by before resuming work. 100% recommend

I have been a patient of Dr. Kristin Yont since moving back to Calgary from Toronto in 2006 and cannot recommend strongly enough just how competent, caring, enjoyable and expert the care that she and her partner Dr. Claire Whitney and their incredible Dental Hygienists deliver. And they deliver it on time with the most warm and attentive administrative staff in both the front and back office. From regular dental care, through amalgam replacement and phenomenal dental hygiene the good karma abounds.

This is my first dentistry in Canada and my experience was great. Absolutely all the staff of dentistry are friendly, kind and will not leave you unanswered. Special thanks for the attentive attitude, I have only positive impressions of my stay in this dentistry.

I have been going here for many years, and even when I was living in another city came back to have my dental done with them - I trust them that much and they are that good. I've never found another dental office that comes even close to comparing. Dr. Yont is a dentist who truly and genuinely cares - you can tell that she really is in it to help people and she is warm and incredibly good at what she does. I actually feel like I walk away with much more than just my dental well-being when I come here (which is why I am writing a review, which I never do). Many people have told me that they feel shame or don't feel good going to the dentist (because lets face it, most of us DO need to floss more:) - and I always tell them to go here. The hygienists are always friendly and helpful, and the front desk staff just so welcoming, helpful, and great. In fact, every single staff member I've ever met here has always been helpful and lovely - how often do you find that? Hugely recommend!

Lost a crown on the weekend and called Monday morning to make an appointment with Dr. Townsend. I got in same day. Thank you so much for all of your assistance. Personnel is friendly and knowledgable. If I had anything negative to say it would be that the office doesn’t do direct billing.
