Dr. Michael Popp

I've been seeing Dr. Popp for about 20 years now and he is absolutely incredible. He is very thorough in his diagnosis and takes his time to explain the treatment that you need without making you feel like you are being pushed at any point. He has all the different amazing technologies right there in his practice that make the experience fast and pain-free. His front office staff are very polite, professional and accommodating and his clinical staff of assistants and hygenists are amazing. I would not go anywhere else for my dental care- he's the best!

My experience with Dr Popp started a fee months ago. I was in severe pain and had major swelling from tooth root abcess's. My teeth have been a problem since Jr high school and I've had many bad experiences leading to me doing absolutely anything to just manage best I can without having to go in.
My friend at the time was looking for a new dentist for me to see who would be compassionate, understanding, and not make me feel ashamed or embarrassed because of the severity of my teeth. And that's when he found Dr Popp office.
Everything from the ladies answering the phone and the technicians getting a history and radiographs, and Dr Popp himself were all beyond empathetic and compassionate. Not a single one made me feel like I don't want to come back. While I still hate my teeth, my smile, and any sort of dentist visit, their patient care makes it 1000% easier to make it through.
They all truly care and just want you to be healthy and happy. They will laugh with you cry with you and be your advocate from a place deep in their heart that cares.
I could never switch dentists now.
I have tremendous thanks and gratitude to his whole team, but especially to Dr Popp and his assistants that helped me make it through my last two appointments.

There's a handful of petty reviews left for Dr. Pop, and although I won't invalidate those experiences, what I will retort is that EVERYONE has off days, even your dentist. Leaving a 1 star review because you had one experience you didn't like isn't an accurate representation of this practice.
Dr. Pop has always taken the time to ensure that I felt comfortable, well informed and safe. Going to the dentist is one of my biggest fears, but that's why I choose Dr. Pop; he's efficient, intelligent and fair.

Dr. Popp and his team are just so patient and professional. I have a crippling fear of the dentist to where I actually experience angina (I have a heart condition) and panic attacks.
I have been going to see Dr. Popp and his team now for about15 plus years, in that time I have had extensive work done on my mouth. Everyone in the clinic takes time to chat, review what is to be done and they all make sure the event is as painless as possible. I have to thank Dr. Popp for his experience and patience with me as well as I just shake the whole time. He is fast and precise and gets my procedure done quickly. I just want to say thank you.

The service is ok but scheduling sucks. Make an appointment for 2: 45 but don't get submitted until 3: 20. Falling asleep in the waiting room the last 2 times I've come. If you have an appointment you shouldn't be waiting forever.

Dr Michael and staff are great. Don't write reviews but I had bad and experience with other dentists. Very bad pain for some times a week at a time. I finally thought I would try him. I have a real problem with needles since I been a kid. I've had a lot of work done by him. The last on was a root canal and crown on my molar tooth. Which has been bad for over 10years. Just hated the pain I might get when getting it done. But went in and Dr Poop did the proceeder with very little pain at all. Every thing he uses is up-to-date and very clean. I could have gone to work the next day with no pain and a new tooth that should have done years ago. Thank you for your excellent service.and would recommend who needs dental work but worry as much as I do pain don't he's great and you will be so happy after it done. Ron Holcomb.

Dr. Popp has been my dentist since the 90's. He's not much for small talk which is more than fine with me. His work has always been top notch for my needs including extractions, root canals and fillings with very little pain. His staff has always been great to me as well. Highly recommended.

Myself and my family are under the care of Dr. Popp for about 9 years and our experiences (cleaning, filling, root canal, extraction, referral to specialists) are great. All the staff there are very friendly.

Dr Popp is very knowledgeable. We always had good experience. It worked well for us last 11 years. There are issues with front office staff sometimes like billing, scheduling and sending pre estimates incorrectly. But overall the clinic is good. Reminder phone calls and mails are really helpful.

Dr. Michael Popp is quite a jaded and angry individual who you really shouldn’t trust within 100 feet of your mouth. His antics lead me to believe he’s mentally unstable.

Dr Popp seems to be very angry and has developed an abusive habit of yelling and swearing at strangers on the internet.

I have been going here for at least 5 years and all the time I recieve professional work and kind service from the staff especially from Michael Popp and Tommy

Dr fairburn is awful she treats women differently than men I have 3 stiches to have removed and I have to wait till dinnertime Tuesday. Also she tried to do two filling in my mouth and I am very uncomfortable with needles she got mad cause it was taking too long to freeze my gums and was very upset cause she could only do one but she us very nice to my husband even though it takes longer for his mouth to freeze

Fast, professional, I've never been so happy with a root canal. And I've had 5 with another dentist. I'll never go anywhere else.

Been a client for 11 years, but yesterday i got a bad experiences, my son has to pay $400 in his own pocket, reception should always check first and have a pre-determination cost with the clients insurance before they perform services, we were family of four and regrets to say that will be our last visit to that clinic.

Use to be a good place but lately the work has been going down hill.the bf an I have been going here for about 8 years an over the last 5 our fillings have failed within the warranty time an we were made to wait till the warranty was up six months later then he would replace them in the mean time we had to wait in pain. I also wasn’t been given proper information to fix my teeth they wanted to pull them and do implants instead of sending me to a specialist for a graft I ended up getting a second opinion an now still have my original teeth an healthy gums. The dental assistants who do the cleanings do a really good job but it seems like when it comes to doing more work than a cleaning Dr. Popp is just too good to put the time in to do the work and care about his patients.

Unbelievable practice from a third and a liar. Complete error on their behalf. I ended up wasting 2 hours of my time, had to pay $60 and left in pain. I cannot stress enough to not use him or his practice at Marlborough dental clinic.
