I would avoid at all costs. Haven’t had a good experience with any of the staff at this place. Had a phone call appointment planned. They said they’d call between 5: 00-7: 30. He called me at 7: 30 and just missed the call. Tried to call back at 7: 31 and couldn’t get through. Had to rebook for a later date and when that day arrived no one called me. Looking for a referral elsewhere now. No consideration for patient wellbeing and super unprofessional.

Booked an appointment six months ago. They called me last week to confirm said appointment for today. They called this morning to cancel but I wasn’t able to answer my phone. When I made it down to the office they told me they’d have to rebook me for February at the earliest, or my best hope is going on the waiting list. The waiting room was full so it’s not like he wasn’t there. No explanation was given for the cancellation. Worst experience I have ever had with a medical practice. I will be asking my family doctor to refer me to someone else. Zero regard for the patient- Irresponsible, disrespectful, careless, unprofessional. Health authorities should def open an enquiry.

Something was taken out of context and long story short, I was referred to this " Doctor ". The first two appointments I was left waiting in my vehicle for an unreasonable amount of time (30 mins +), although I wanted to keep coming for the comedic value. It's not often you get a doctor of this caliber (generic, vague almost adolescent type questions). To mitigate this we decided on booking my future appointments at 1pm, directly after lunch.

The first appointment was honoured. The second appointment he showed up at 1: 12, I mentioned the time and that appointment did not go so smoothly to say the least. (Feelings of dismissal and irritability were projected very pronounced). The third appointment was for today at 1pm. I walked in asked if he was ready for me, to which the receptionist replied " he is still on lunch ". I went back to my vehicle and waited till 1: 15. I went in and asked if he was back yet, he was not. I asked if he called to let me know he was running late. By this time she was visibly upset. I stated that this sends a message that he values his time more than mine. She asked if I've ever been to a doctor before in a condescending tone, to which I smiled. " Do you want to rebook? ", I said " does he want to rebook? I showed up". I asked if it makes sense for me to be outside while he's having lunch, escalating her voice she offered the 2 options on waiting or finding a new doctor.

Incredible stuff. I hope they can understand that patients are humans and deserve to be treated with respect. A simple phone call if you need to finish lunch or if something came up would have been sufficient.

He prescribed me medication without explanation as to what it is or why I should be taking it. After the mediocre appointments it was simply " your prescription will be waiting at your pharmacy ".

The girl up front was hilarious, she could not handle simple questions without reacting very emotionally. I hope they can learn and grow from this experience. We are all human, nobody's perfect but man C'mon. Show up for your appointments my guy.

Worst treatment by a business. Waited four months to get an appointment.
Confirmed the appointment multiple times including just one day prior and come the day of and they tell me they have given the appointment away. Did not even offer to reschedule or anything.
I wouldn’t waste my time with a place that cares nothing about the people that need their services.

Dr Shiyanbola was not engaged. He demonstrated 0 interest in my situation. He asked the basic health assessment questions every time I talked with him. He only proscribed medications. Most of the time I made the suggestions about what I would like to try. I chased him for months to get my notes. For months I tried to get ahold of his office to book an appointment and request a copy of my notes. No one called me back. I emailed and left messages. After months of no contact I did reach someone. I requested my notes in November 2022. I had to personally go to his office to get them in May 2023. I live in Cold Lake. He was supposed to write a summary for me. He has yet to do so. His notes I did receive are terrible and inaccurate. Very unprofessionally written. He contradicts himself in his notes on multiple occasions, calls me suicidal when I am not. I fired him. I do not recommend.

Mt name is Brett and Dr. Shiyanbola is a big reason that I was able to get out of a bad place mentally. It took a lot of work but with his help I moved on to a new Dr in Saskatoon who helped me the rest of the way.

He has been so helpful with getting my mental health under control. He spent almost 2 hours at the initial appointment reviewing the papers and his diagnoses seemed to be very spot on. I’d recommend him for sure.

I dealt with him for over a year.
Finally got tired of the pill pushing.
When he asks a question, he wants a yes or no answer.he doesn't want to hear about your problems. He will literally cut you off when you try to talk.
How hard is it to listen without interrupting?
