Dragon Pearl Restaurant

My wife’s family has been coming here for 30ish years. Now we have been going as a family for 6 years. We go almost weekly on the weekends. Consistent with their food, and the pan friend dumplings are the best world wide. Every person we bring here says it’s the best Chinese food in the city hands down. So come try and enjoy.

Ordered last night, was looking to find a new fave…
Found disappointment instead! I have never ordered food and especially Chinese food that literally had no taste? It was the most bizarre thing! I honestly am still so confused how the smell was great but no flavor. It was beyond bland, it was like fake food products made from flour…. Still so confused. We will never order again.

Best food in Alberta. We ordered the dinner for 4 plus beef in black bean sauce (our fav) to take out. It was waiting when we arrived and was excellent as always!

I've been eating here since the early 80's. In time, we left Calgary, but whenever we come to Calgary, The Dragon Pearl is our pearl for a fantastic chinese meal. If it's not on the menu.ask them if they can make it. Every dish is worth trying and I've never seen anyone complain about the taste. If its a cold day, try to sit away from the door, but if I had to sit near it, it wouldn't stop me from staying to eat.

Worst garbage I tried to eat ginger beef tasteless cold veggies cold. Threw out entire order tasted sour. STAY AWAY
Rather eat McDonald’s

My family comes here regularly for their house made dumplings and pan fried wontons. One order of each is enough to send two adults and one toddler into a food coma. It's our favourite place to refuel after a morning at the Zoo.

Best Chinese food in the city. Have been eating here for 30-ish years. Lemon chicken is a must-try.

My family has been going to Dragon Pearl for years and it never disappoints. The sizzling rice is a MUST and the lemon chicken. The service is very good and attentive.
