She was so thoughtful, understanding and willing to work within my budget without any judgement. She made the entire experience so enjoyable and, because of her ability to understand my preferences and the pull styles that I adored, we were able to find my wedding dress. Thank you so very much to Durand Bridal and Brooklyn for being so understanding, helpful and kind.

I ended up buying my dress from a different store but I went twice to this boutique to try on dresses and the service was great. Knowledgeable staff, very helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended! Great experience at this place

I was one of the unfortunate brides who wasn’t receiving her wedding dress two weeks before her wedding. Leslie reached out to me after I posted on Facebook looking for recommendations for stores that had a lot of options in my size off the rack. I can’t quite describe how fabulous everyone was at this store. They booked me an appointment right away, had dresses pulled for me when I arrived and had so much selection in the style and size I needed. I truly felt supported by all the ladies there. This was where I should have went when I first started shopping. It was my favourite store out of all the stores I went to. Not to mention I left with the perfect dress! I can’t thank these ladies enough:)

I went shopping with my daughter to get her grad dress. The sales associates were very helpful. We found the perfect dress. As it was the first store that we went to, I wanted to be sure that it was the right dress, and checked out a few other stores. Other stores could not compare to the selection, style and quality. Thank you so much!

Horrible communication. You call, they never answer. You leave a message- they never call back. You email- no email back. Horrible experience right from beginning to end. Dress was 3 weeks late. They ordered it 2 sizes too big. I even questioned it when they put the order through and said no, they had ordered the correct size. When the dress finally came in- and it was way too big- they said "oh well the seamstress will have to deal with this". They do NOT include alterations. They will tell you they do in the beginning and then when you get the invoice- it says in fine print- they don't include it- its an additional cost (minimal $175). So being that the dress was way too big- the alteration costs were astronomical. So as a customer- I had to pay for their mistake. Ran into a bride when I was getting alterations and her dress also was ordered wrong size and also was 7 weeks late from this company as well! BEWARE!
UPDATE- Phoned and left a voicemail as well as sent an email to get it rectified- and surprise surprise- NO REPLY!

The team at Durand gave me such an incredible experience when I ordered and purchased my wedding dress. I was treated so well, and everyone was so helpful in making sure I had a perfect dress for the perfect day.

After having a poor experience with a seamstress in regards to my dress, Durand was so kind and understanding and ensured my wedding would still be perfect I cannot imagine a more helpful group of wonderful people to have dealt with

Can't recommend Durand enough. My stylist Britney did a great job of pulling dresses based on my taste, but also giving suggestions I hadn't considered before. She is very knowledgeable and made the process fun. No pushy sales tactics here!

Went here to get my grad dress and will definitely be suggesting all my friends come here aswell. They made me feel so special and the whole environment was so welcoming and kind! The staff is amazing aswell! Definitely would suggest coming here

This was the best experience I have ever had at a bridal shop! Margie made me feel welcome from the second me and my group of 5 bridesmaids walked through the door! We got to walk around and see the dresses. The seating and change room area was great! Margie was so humorous the entire time. It was the last shop of the day and we were exhausted, Margie brought the energy back and we were all back to feeling 100%. When she has an incling I loved a dress she helped me feel lime a bride by getting a pin for my hair, veil, and even bouquet to match the one I envisioned for my big day! The gowns are all affordable and all sizes are welcome and embraced here. I'm a 14 and had no trouble finding the dress of my dreams.

The overall experience was so amazing. I felt comfortable and confident in all of the dresses that were pulled for me, and my preferences were followed. The selection of dresses and the atmosphere were exactly what I was looking for.

My mom, sister, little nephews and I came in for an appointment to find my wedding dress and were paired with Marjie and she was an absolute DREAM to work with. I'm not a bride who really knew what she wanted, but Marjie asked all the right questions, listened so well, provided me with dresses only in the budget I provided and made the whole process so smooth, fun and comfortable. She was so knowledgeable and professional I literally can't say enough good things about her. Once we were finished and had an obvious winner, she told me to go home and not think about dresses and just sleep on it. I never felt pressured and ended up coming back the next day to buy the dress!

Everyone else who worked there that we crossed paths with were absolutely lovely too, It was the best experience I had of all the dress appointments I attended throuhgout the city.

& My nephews are still talking about the rocket treats ;)

Oh my goodness amazing! I can't say it enough or stress it enough! I went in looking for a dress for my maternity photo shoot and was skeptical and wondered if I would be treated with disregard because my date for the photo shoot is in a month but they were so kind so determined and so helpful. They made me feel beautiful and being a plus size thats no easy feat. Lexi you got 5 gold stars from me! They even helped me stay in my budget! Any time I'm in need of a pretty dress you will see me there!

I cannot recommend Durand Bridal more! Everyone in the showroom are extremely friendly, understanding and went above and beyond to make the whole experience special.

I originally had a bad experience at a well known bridal boutique I had went to try on wedding dresses, it had put a damper on the whole experience and I walked into Durand with low expectations. As a plus-sized bride, on a tight budget AND a tight time-frame, I was expecting to have to settle on a dress. I couldn't have been more wrong!

Durand went above and beyond, pulling tons of dresses in many different styles that they could get in time. Giving me the whole 'princess' experience you expect from wedding dress shopping. They had a huge selection in all different sizes (So you can actually get the dress on to get the whole vision) and were happy to work with my budget.

After purchase, the communication from them was great, and they navigated a delay due to customs (completely out of their control) very well and helped keep the experience STRESS FREE!

Durand Bridal is going to be our go to from now on! Thank you to all the ladies that helped me out:)

Great prices on gowns and lovely staff. I found my dress right away and felt very well taken care off at my 2 appointments. Customer service is also top notch. Thank you Leslie and team!

The experience of finding a dress was excellent. I think Brooklynn was the lady helping me and she was fantastic. I loved how private the rooms were.

However, my dress came in quite a bit later than expected. Part of that is because it got delayed at customs, but even without customs it would have been late. I bought my dress end of November and I didn't receive it until end of July. My wedding is beginning of September so it was quite stressful.
Communication was also a challenge. In a three day period I left two voicemails and sent a FB message and didn't hear back. My sister ended up calling and they picked up right away and I then received a call back immediately after.

I also just had my alterations appointment and my seamstress noticed a couple of issues with the work done on my dress. Some areas have very cheap work done where fabric was just folded over and sewn which makes it very thick and doesn't look nice at all. There is also a black mark on the bottom of the dress which thankfully will be taken off during hemming.
There are also some small holes in one of the layers.
I am now having to pay extra to fix work that wasn't done right the first time.

On top of that, my corset back didn't come with a modesty panel. I'm not sure if it's normal to not supply them, but keep it in mind as that's another added cost.

They did offer to pay for part of the alterations since the dress arrived so late but only if I went with one of their seamstresses in Calgary. I am from out of town so this isn't a possibility.

If you have plenty of time to get your dress and don't mind paying extra for alterations to fix mistakes that were made by the dress makers, then I'd recommend Durand.

Didn't buy our dress here, and staff were helpful, fun, and supportive. They only wanted us to find the one and make sure we were happy and excited about our choice! Customer service was excellent, lots of parking, and many gowns to choose from!

I wasn't sure where to start with finding the perfect dress for my wedding this summer. I saw that Durand had some of the best reviews on Google so I decided to start there. My bestfriend and I set some dresses aside for me to try on and I found two that I loved. I wasn't fully ready to commit so I went back 4 days later. I ended up getting matched up with Margie. She had the 2 dresses I had fallen in love with set aside, but handed me a dress I had never seen and told me to try it on to clear my mind and refresh before I went to try on the two I had come back for. Well, I broke down in tears (I didn't think this would happen) and instantly knew the dress she handed me was hands down the one I would wear down the isle. She couldn't have picked out a more perfect dress for me, even better than the ones I thought I was going back for.

I have to say this was by far the best experience I could of ever had finding a dress. The women who run this store are not only welcoming and accommodative, they made me feel so incredibly good about myself. If anyone isn't sure where to go find your dress for your wedding, without a question go see this team at Durand. You will fall in love with one of their perfect dresses and have the experience you've dreamed of having.

Incredibly grateful for all the ladies at Durand! They took the extremely difficult situation of me losing the wedding dress I ordered a year ago and handled it with so much kindness and empathy. They made me feel so supported. They have a huge selection of dresses. And very knowledgeable staff.

I thought buying a wedding dress was going to be one of the most stressful things when it came to the wedding planning based on what I was told by other bridal shops. But thanks to Durand, my experience was far from that. My stylist was warm, friendly and made me feel super comfortable from the start, and I ended up cancelling my other two dress appointments because I found my dream dress in under an hour. I was told my dress would arrive late July and it ended up coming 3 weeks early and pick up easy. All around fantastic company and employees.

Marjie (and the whole staff) were AMAZING! Not only did she help me find my dream wedding dress, but she made me feel completely comfortable while doing it.

Three days to my sister's wedding her dress never arrived, the situation has been extremely stressful. What was one of the most horrible experiences, has now turned into the most beautiful memory because of Durand bridal.

Today we found my sister's dream dress at Durand Bridal 3 days to her wedding date. I can honestly not speak more highly of the ladies at Durand. They truly made her whole experience one to never forget and we could not be more thankful to Marjie, Leslie and their team! They worked their magic and made her feel extremely special.

This is the BEST bridal boutique in Calgary! They are so welcoming, attentive, knowledgable, their customer service is absolutely amazing. They have a huge selection of bridal dresses.

I purchased my wedding dress, veil and a custom Bride jacket from here. All came exactly on time and the exact ETA they provided me with. The sales rep helping me pick wedding dresses out on my first appt actually ended up picking out the wedding dress I went with.

We then came back for my mom to get her mother of the bride dress and ordered one that came within 3 months. Their pricing is so reasonable also, I got everything for my day for 2 grand. I cannot recommend this place enough! Brides this is the place to go for your dream wedding dress!
