I booked an appointment. I was taken for testing a few minutes late but I was in no rush. I highly recommend the lady that tested me in seat 5. Very professional, I didn't feel a thing during the blood draw and no I'll after effects. I highly recommend the lady in seat 5. Well done!

I think this location is the best in Edmonton. Wait times are low and the staff are kind and caring.

I'm giving them for cause no one is perfect, I'm very hard to get blood from.
They manage to get it fairly quick.
As for waiting I never had to wait long.
They're polite and nice. No problems

Wonderful location, staff are polite, courteous and very good at what they do. I get blood tests done regularly and with an appointment I’m out of there quickly, and I rarely feel a thing from the blood taking. Make an appointment, wear a mask going inside and just don’t give them a hard time and you’ll have no issues. People leaving bad reviews complaining of wait times need to realized you should make an appointment and walk-ins can be long sometimes. And that this is MEDICAL place of work, they are there to help with your health issues that’s it.

I saw other people's comments saying that wait times were over an hour for blood work.my appointment was at 2: 05 I walked out at 2: 15! Both of the employees were wonderful the guy doing my blood work told me a funny story it was great!

Just went in today and was in and out with no appointment in 10 minutes. All the staff were warm and friendly. Loved the two ladies that took blood and recorded. They were super sweet. Great visit. Will always use this location.

I get A LOT of bloodwork and this is by far my favourite lab in Edmonton to go to. They always get me in on time before my timed blood draw and they’ve never given me any problems with my appointments

I showed up a bit late and with an email documentation but they compromised and still got me in.but than they couldn't read my Dr's writing and it took longer than expected and after all the testing was done I went to grab my sweater and it was gone! None of knew who took it and couldn't find it in the 2 places I left it. I also left my sample beside another sample cuz apparently they can't take the deposits before calling the next guest.and patient. I separated mine with paper towels can't be having contaminated results so unprofessional and unclean

I came to the dynalife callingwood centre earlier today. I waited for an hour at the centre because they kept skipping my name on the list. The people there saw that I was waiting for a long time and yet they did not inform me the reason why they were not calling my name despite being the next in line. If I had not gone up to them after having waited a long time they would not have let me know that my requisition was not in their file. While I was waiting, they could have kindly informed me what I could have done to quicken my visit. When I talked to one of the staff, she was quite rude and sarcastic despite noticing that I was already quite upset about having to wait and not being informed of anything going on.

It’s an average location but gets the job done.

They have the option of booking online or doing walk in.

They accept requisition by fax and email (or physical copy of course)

There is a lot of parking. (But it’s a very busy parking lot with lots of shops around it)

Staff have been friendly in my experience.

They have wifi.

Amazing staff here! Arrived at 1130 and was home before Noon. I'm not good with anything related to medical but the girl that was doing my tests, I believe her name is Tracey, was amazing. 10/10

Dirty and unprofessional place, they don’t give a s#*t about you, go get your requisitions done elsewhere trust me.

I waited an hour to get a text that they're ready for me. Then when I came in I waited another hour before they saw me.

Then they started taking my information which took another 10 minutes. I have no idea why that useless receptionist couldn't have done that when I was waiting for an hour.this is not an off day at that clinic. It's not the first time I've experienced this with them.

Staff were very friendly and super efficient. I was in and out on a walk-in within a very reasonable time frame and quicker than I expected.

Been here about half a dozen times and never once been given a wait time even close to accurate. Usually they are off by over an hour (tell you it will be 15 mins, will be over an hour, etc) Just really poor communication with people.

The test I had brought my father in for was a "stat" test. And I have no issue with the people who come in with pre-booked appointments. I DO have issue with sitting at the top of the walk in wait list for 30 plus minutes, as we have done on more than one occasion, whilst new names repeatedly show up above him. Today there were 6 such people. All of them apparently taking priority despite being neither pre-booked nor requiring "stat" tests.

Would not recommend this lab to anyone, took my daughter for bloodwork, first off the receptionist was very rude, doesn't know how to talk to patients. Then the tech had to poke my daughter twice, once in the right arm and completely missed her vein, then poked higher up on the left side and caused my daughter lots of pain, will never go to this location ever again, will stick to OP labs in hospitals, least they know what there doing. It's scary enough for a child this was bad.

Was told a 20 min wait time when I arrived it’s been 1 hour and 20 mins now.it’s clear they don’t value people’s time and could care less how long you have to wait. This is what’s wrong with privatized Heath care

I'm not too sure why, but the front staff is absolutely horrible. They were beyond rude to every single person checking in. I had to wait for an hour to complete my exam and it made me so uncomfortable listening to the clerk checking in the patients I had to leave. I know all healthcare workers are overworked and burnt out, but I too work in healthcare and being kind to people can make or break their day. There is no need to be rude and condescending and talk down to people.

This location needs to be staffed better with professional people.
I was to take a walk in today and the area was nearly full of people. There were six people waiting in line when told to leave three left but one came back in ignoring covid protocols.
The lady at the front desk was rude with the people inside, understandably so as no one seemed to want to listen to what she had to say.

Walked in this morning, around 10: 35am, was waiting in line and had already sanitized my hands. The woman at the desk rudely asked me if I had sanitized, when I said yes she just reaches out for my paperwork as if she was offended. I don't need to be treated that way at all. I felt judged I felt disrespected and was completely shocked. I know it's busy there but customers are customers, the staff are being paid and I'm grateful for their service but that girl needs some training on how to serve human beings.

I had to stand up because the would not clean the chairs.all the chairs were taking when one came available they would not clean it and I was forced to stand up for 25 minutes.
Shouldn’t they be following health code rules?
The lady watched me standing and laughed about it.

I got in fast. The person who was doing the blood test was kind, patient, and got everything done smoothly. I'm scared of needles and blood, but these kinds of visits are slowly giving me more courage. Thank you.

Had booked appointment. Lobby was clean, quad for social distancing and shields at the counter between the technician and client. Sanitizer available. Clean chairs available and 6' distancing maintained. Appointment was on time within 5 minutes of booked time. When labs were done, exited via second door, following footsteps. All staff whom I interacted with were efficient and friendly. Overall, a good experience.

I only come here because its the one closest to me.
But the lady at the front needs better people skills - if you aren't going to have proper signs as to where people should wait, and what they should do next; dont dare speak to patients the way I was spoke to.
I was following all social distance rules. Im shook.
I'll drive further away.

I was super impressed by the quick service and skilled employees! Extremely good experience and I hate needles.

This is a publicly funded laboratory for blood and other testing. Every time i go to this one or the one in meadowlark it takes time to process me. THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED. Everyone who's complaining about this should consider private health care and move to a country with such processes. The staff here over the years have always been kind and diligent in their work. They know what they're doing and they're great at it! So no complaints. Job well done mi lab.tech.amigos!

The staff that took my blood sample was so nice and kind. She gave me a juice pack after my test because I was fasting for 10 hours at that point. The wait time was long but it was understandable.

Called and told it was a 45 minute wait. 4 1/2 hours later. I know it covid time but it’s unreal and tried to book a appointment. 3 week wait to get a appointment.

Great if you like making appointments and then sitting around for 40 min waiting for that appointment.
If I wanted to wait for my blood work then I would have just went to the one closest to my house who didnt have an available appointment for today.

Very busy there today, luckily I had an appointment. Unfortunately they didn't see my appointment in their system and sent me away.
After driving home I found the appointment on their website, I was not there on the wrong day. Grumpy after fasting for 12 hours for nothing

I booked an appointment over the phone which was confirmed. I rushed down from work to meet up with the appointment. On getting there, the receptionist told me someone else came in for the appointment, that the only option I have is to be taken as walk in and await for about 55minutes. Who does that? Very back experience.

Well I’m actually writing this review as I have seen so many bad ones about this place. I was there today for bloodwork and an ECG and have to give the place 5 stars. I was taken in 9 minutes after my appointment time which is perfectly acceptable and the lady “Lisa” who tended to me could not have been friendlier. I didn’t even feel the needle go in or out and the ECG was quick and professional. I would definitely go back here and recommend this place to anyone.

There is a sign indicating rude and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated this should also extend to your staff. The most ignorant rude women work there, we come there as sick folks and WE do not deserve to be treated so poorly. I would rather drive an hour sick than ever return to this place. Your workers need to take empathy training kindness matters.

Was seen fast in and out fairly quick the lack of knowledge in drawing blood is very sad I have a large hematoma currently shouldn’t have to have these if the blood was taken properly please train or retrain your staff better hope you're not hiring off the street

Dont come to this place, even if you have an appointment they make you wait 45 min or longer. They accept new patients without appointment even if they are late for other patients already in schedule.

Worst experience ever. SORRY YOU NEED TO WAIT.that is their answer

Staff are not very friendly and often short with you. Ive gone for bloodwork twice at this location and they dont seem to care or accomodate needs.

If you don't like the wait time, make an appointment. Shorter wait times. Staff was professional and courteous.

Dynalfe at Callingwood is immensely busy. It is also well-staffed. The waiting area of the lab has a giant screen that displays up to the minute scheduling info. I was a walk in patient with no appointment. My name was listed within 30 seconds when i submtted my reuisition. The staff are meaningfully occupied at all times. No idle time. The lab is very clean. It is spring time and the floors look swept despite heavy traffic.

My time is up 20 minutes after arriving. My vein pricked with an ominous looking long needle, and two vials blood collected while yet feeling very little pain in my left arm.

Great service. Excellent value. Koodos to all Callingwood Dynalife staff. Now awaits me a shoulder surgery.

Slow service, staff lacks sound judgement or common sense. A lot of time wasted here just to get a simple laboratory done.

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed that the technician was able to draw blood from my one year old on the first try. She was fast and efficient. That part was great. The attitude given to us was not.

I booked online a blood test for the Callingwood Dynalife location.
My first time experience here was great and easy.
I was stressed at the blood draw but after the needle goes in you don't feel it.
The staff aren't overly friendly just straight to the point and instruct you on where you need to go.
