This lady was so rude, I will never go back to this location. I got sent for tests, by my doctor. I don't know what tests and I don't know how the tests are performed. This lady treated me terribly! I don't even know if I got all the tests done. I just left!

The lack of diversity at this place says a lot about them, I was there this morning, and the young lady at line 1 was very rude to almost every none white person and elderly.

The guy today at the front desk (eddy) checking people in, is a robot and is arrogant
Points at a sign answer these questions, points at another sign answer these and when someone doesn’t understand he is short with them. Raises voice at people have you been to Uganda. If you hate your job so much and can’t be kind to people maybe get a new job or don’t work the 7 am shift.

I was there 9 am this morning. They took my name and phone number. After half hour, I received a text message saying that the staff will check in. I asked one of the rude staff about the text, she said wait in line 2. I waited for few minutes and nothing was happening. I went back to my chair. After one hour and ten minutes as I noticed all people before and after me had gone and no one except me had received that text message. I approached what looks a shift supervisor and asked about the text message. Again, with a condescending waive of her hand she said to go and stand "there".
In short, the staff in general are rude and have very bad attitude from the minute they see you to the minute you leave. I have been there about 6-8 times all with its own bad experience. The staff treat people like if they have ceased all medical sciences and the people who go there just a crust of the earth. Horrible place.

STEREOTYPICAL STAFF (CAUCASIANS) TOWARDS MINORITIES! IWAS WAITING FOR 30 MINS AND IT WAS VERY SHAMEFUL AND SAD TO SEE HOW THIS FRMALE STAFF WITH PURPLE HAIR WAS TALKING TO MINORITIES ONLY! ZERO PROFESSIONALISM, NO COMPASSION TELLS AT THEM. VERY DISGUSTING. I WILL PERSONALLY NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! This location is very fast and the staff is friendly when you walked in they teling that there is 2: 30 waiting time but they will call you in 15 to 20 minutes to take you in

Good place. Located on the second floor in the mall by the food court. Requires a mask when you enter. No appointment required they will take walk ins. Waited about 45 minutes at 9am in the morning, on a Tuesday. They were fast, clean, friendly and professional. Will come back again for sure.

Terrible experience they made me wait 4 hours and they kept on pushing me down the list when I ask them what was up they were rude. I would not recommend this dynalife to anybody if I could give zero stars I would save yourself some time and energy and go to a different one.

Horrible horrible front end customer service, they will try everything not to see you, it's unfortunate we can't have private labs in Alberta because the quality of care is not there.

Every time I come to this lab I hear some staff speaking Philippines language amongst themselves infront of patients. Please speak English. VERY unprofessional environment!

I had an awesome experience with a staff that took me in right away to get my bloodwork done for gestational diabetes. Nancy was so kind and considerate.

The second person that drew my blood was not so pleasant. He called my name just as my timer went off, and though it was a short walk to his station, he didn’t even say hello—I initiated by saying “how are you”, he responded, and I thought that would get the ball rolling, but I was wrong.

I told him that my right arm is usually best for drawing blood. He only tried it once to find a vein, and didn’t tighten the wrap around my arm
enough.

He then tried my left arm, was sure he found a vein, put the needle in, and he couldn’t draw any blood. I also asked if I could move a little since I felt like I was in a slightly twisted position, which is not fun when you’re pregnant, and he just said “No, don’t move” without considering why I might be asking.

Without even trying my right arm again, which most staff at DynaLife that I’ve encountered in the past did, he looked at the veins on my left hand and decided to go with that. A little heads up would have been nice that it would hurt more from my hand, even though I had a feeling that would be the case. He was nice enough to say “Oh nice and quick, see? ”, and to ask if I was okay when I started saying “Ow”.

I know this gentleman was doing his job; however, this short time of him drawing my blood made me realize even more the importance of practicing consideration and compassion any time you are dealing with a patient/client. Most of the staff here seem to be very good with people and their job, it was only that one staff member so far that seemed like he was just there to do his job.

To that one staff member - I hope you read this and see that you did your job efficiently, and that it is not always enough just to do your job without acknowledging the patient’s suggestions and concerns.

So, overall 4/5. Thank you so much for your service!

I went to the walk in, 7: 10 am. Already there was 12 people in front of me. I was expecting to air maybe an hour but they were very friendly fast and efficient. I as seen at 7: 35 am and with m bloodwork and cardiology was finished by 8.: 08 m.

As a cancer patients, I visit the dynalife labs very often. I can say this is the busiest. I always make Reservations online weeks before. Today I waited and waited and saw my name pop up as "walk-in", I was not happy and asked the reception lady, Julia what's going on.

I checked my dynalife account and about to show her my reservation, it was my own mistake, I booked the wrong location ‍️.

Julia couldn't find my name in the system, without questioning me, she went ahead put me in the earliest walk in spot. I really appreciate her help. And the technician, Justin also been very professional and helpful with me.

On my way out, Julia was on break so I cannot apologize in person. But I did tell the other staff to help me pass on the message.

I will pay more attention when booking appointment next time.

SHOUT OUT to Julia and Justin with their 5-Stars customer service.

I love this DynaLife. The staff is always knowledgeable and quick to assisting everyone walk-in or appointment.
Went for a full body examination blood work, occupational testing and more to dynalife and very satisfied every time?
The facility is very clean always, tidy and organized, they spaced it perfect for 6 ft protocol. Very fast at what they do with testing and sending results off. Good to children and take their time, distract them for needles and Candy lol

I had two very positive experiences this week having to go in for some blood work. As someone who is prone to fainting, I was slightly nervous for my appointment. Luckily, both techs that I had were very accommodating, kind, and really awesome at their job! I called to add myself to the waitlist both times and when I arrived I hardly had to wait before I was taken for my tests. The front staff were very pleasant as well and I'm quite happy with my experience.

The receptionist was extra cheery and contorting. I did not have an appointment and I was in and out in 30 minutes. A man with an appointment came in late and she put him at the front of the digital line. This was a Friday at 4pm.

There is a reason why people scheduled for an appointment. I scheduled my appointment almost 3 months in advance and have to waiting here 30 mins after my appointment time is totally unacceptable.

Please review your policy and honour the scheduled time for the appointments.

If i could give -0 I would. The receptionist asked were they would file my son’s paperwork like I would know I don’t work there. Had an appointment still had to wait for more than 25 mins.people with no appointment got before me. So dissatisfied. When doctor wants know why i don’t want those tests BECAUSE NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THEY DO!

Disorganized, rude, unclear with instructions. Told to sit down and wait to be called by one person, then I get the text message that they are ready for me so I go to the counter and admonished for sitting in the lab while waiting. If I hadn't fasted for 12 hours I would have walked out for being reprimanded for following instructions.

My mom went in for her cancer screening bloodwork and came out with bruises on her arms from the lady grabbing her so hard. She could tell the lady was having a bad day by her rude behavior and aggression. This is not acceptable in health care!

If you must use this location, be certain you know very clearly what procedures you require before going in.
After being barked at for ID and being belittled for not having my requisition on my person (it was faxed in by a doctor, thus in their possession, as I repeatedly explained), they performed a blood draw and tried to boot me out immediately after. I had to actually argue in order to get the materials I required to complete other tests - that were listed on the requisition!

I would recommend trying any other diagnostic facility that is relatively convenient.

I usually don't do reviews but I went as walk in for bloodwork, wait wasn't too bad maybe 45 mins. The girl who took my sample was the most gentle person I've ever had doing the bloodwork. I literally didnt feel anything. Her name was mariam and she was amazing. I wish everyone was as gentle and efficient as her.

I have had numerous tests done at this location but today was not one of the most pleasant. I made an appointment three weeks ago for 9: 35 am today. I telephoned their office to ask what the protocall was for entrance today. Phone from my car when to enter etc. I was told just show up and stand in line. I did the line was very long inside the mall area leading to a manned desk outside the door. I cut in and told the gentleman I had a 9: 35 in 15 min.s. He took my info and let me in to a chair next to the wall. At 9 am an elderly and her escort came in she sat beside me he stood over me. I asked where I stood on the wait list and was told there were walk in people waiting for an hour before me. I said I have been waiting three weeks what does an appointment mean here. I also said that my age I didn't want to be here for ever and the distant rule isn't enforced with the guy standing over me. She said look for another seat then. I have heard similar stories form friends that shared similar wait times. ALBERTA HEALTH PLEASE CHECK THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

We checked in at Dynalife Northgate for a pre scheduled blood test for my daughter. The appointment time/wait is no problem, but the staff were extremely rude and abrupt with myself and others. This is not how people should be treated who are already scared because of the Covid outbreak.

The people who are looking after the line outside need lots of training. I went there today July 18,2020 and stood in line for 1 hour only to find out that i could of went to the front line to ask for a cup to do my bussiness. Had I known that, i should of been able to just go up to the front desk and ask for one and bring it back would of been nice. Instead I get someone who didnt understand what I was asking and told me he wasnt going to argue which i was asking a question he couldnt answer and didnt want to deal with me was very rude. I brought my sample back to him and he grabbed my sample and through it in his bin. He was very rude and doesnt respect patients should not be in the front. Afraid he didnt understand the English language and was rude with other patients. Your line up should go from side to side. To make it fair. Not directly all appt first.

This place is an absolute LOW for Dynalife
Always crowded.staff don't care about patients.they kept my 9 months pregnant wife waiting for 1.5 hour while fasting. They admitted us at 3: 30 and at 5: 05 they said we do only this test till 5 (they were open till 7).
It is not much to ask, it is basic responsibility of care that they have to when admitting the patients observe their condition and READ their test.

I have been coming here for many many years and complimented how I never feel the needles going in and how good they were but my last two visits were terrible I could not believe how much they hurt. The first visit it hurt and was called back to recollect. The second visit also hurt.

I am not happy with the service! My son is 1 yr old and he had an appointment couple days ago.there are two people helping my son-trainee and trainor. They let the trainee collect the blood. It took 10 to 15 mins just to enter to the computer all the details so my son started to get bored. It's so difficult now to get the blood.they need to poke both of the arms because they cant do there job properly! My heart is melting watching my son hurting so much and now we went to the pedia and telling me that the blood they took is not enough to do all the test. And I need to do the blood test again for my son! I do understand that the trainee need to learn to do it in toddler! But seriously why they can just do it when they are capable of doing it in the adult. I just dont want it to happen to others!

Awful. Made an appointment for 7: 15am, they had me down as walk in. After correcting it, I didn’t get in until 7: 45. My tech was nice enough, but had a cold. Coughing and sniffling.

Really disappointed that the lab assistant didn't give me back my ID or even call me to let me know that she forgot to give me it back. She literally took it and placed her papers on it.
I called them when I was at the lawyer's office since I needed my ID. They never apologized just said, "Yes it's in the lost and found. "
I went back there to get it (during rush hour) and asked why wouldn't you guys just call me. I know my number is on the lab requisition. The receptionist says well as least you have it now. Seriously? Is it hard to admit you guys made a mistake.
Anyways, I'm a nurse and know it gets busy sometimes but the philipino lady with zero bedside manner maybe you need switch careers if you dislike your job so much. You still need to chat and smile with your clients it's part of the job.
I'll definitely book an appointment at a different dynalife next time.

Never any issues here, well practiced hands. It is almost always busy. I would suggest making an Appt rather then walk in, sometimes that still leads to a wait.

These people are rude and don't care about anyone other then their appointment bookings. I had my 3 year old with me and they took over an hour. Pathetic. I won't be coming back here again even if they are one of the only ones open on the weekends.

I've had two good experiences here out of dozens, both with female staff.

The male staff here are cranky at best and downright rude at worst. A male staff member collapsed two of my veins and then lost the paperwork. I needed them done for surgery so I had to go back. Just the worst.

Absolute garbage here. I needed bloodwork taken between 8: 00am and 10: 00am. I arrived just before 9 and then made to wait in a line that stretched out the door as sick people coughed on me and sneezed, then told it was over an hour wait and that I was to come in another day. No consideration that people work jobs as it takes 1 min. To draw a little tube of blood.

Unfortunately been here many times due to chronic health condition. Every time I am here the staff are busting their butts. One staff told me that they each do 30+ people in their shift. Can you really blame them if they aren’t chatty? Or if they aren’t grinning ear to ear? Countless times I’ve overheard them being hassled for asking for ID. I’ve seen people cough right in their faces. People with less than ideal hygiene sitting inches from them. They see it all you guys. And deal with it all. Give them a friggen break. Without an appt wait times can be really long.so go somewhere else then! These guys deserve thanks, not complaints.

I called @ 7: 05am to see if they were open. "Janice" answered and said not only were they open.they were not to busy at that time.went and was processed.tested & out in 10 minutes. Staff was friendly, fast and very efficient! Ps.got to meet Janice.lol
