Was waiting for my wife at 6: 32 when a lady came in with a child. The lab is open until 7: 00 but they told the lady they don't take clients after 6: 30. The woman even said that she called that afternoon and was told they were open to 7: 00. There was no line up or anyone else waiting just a few people finishing up their tests. It just seemed like the staff wanted to knock off early. Very pool customer service. They should either change their posted hours to 6: 30 or take clients up until the 7: 00 closing time.

With all the negativity surrounding our health care system I just want to say that the care, professionalism, speed, and efficiency is second to none at this location. Thank you for everything.

Came from the edmonton palisades location as they saif two hour wait and made me sit in the car even though there were chairs available. I ended up leaving and going here. They Greeted me right away. Told me if would be 20 minute wait but then saw on my req it said emergent and took me right away! In and out in like 10 minutes. An hour later I finally get the text that the other clinic can see me now.this one is the one to go to!

Took hubby for blood work. Always lots a folks waiting inside. Booking an appointment on-line doesn't seem to make much difference than being a walk-in.

This lab is clean and efficient. I know it's easy to give a great review when you get seen within 15 minutes, and wait time definitely varies.

As an appointment visit, there was a little bit of a wait time on a Sunday. However, in my last 2 visits, I have been lucked out with sorcerers because my usual fainting risk was non-existent and the techs were fast, efficient and painless. I am extremely happy with the techs who've helped me with getting my bloodwork done.

Staff was awesome and thanked people for being patient with the long wait times, I was there Friday Jan 6 2023 around 10 am for booked appointment time was not called back by text till 10: 30 and then waited another 10 mins. Lots of walk ins waiting more then an hour.

Update Jan 2022: “hold my spot” feature has been removed.:)

What’s the point of the online “hold my spot” feature when you get there and are told you have been bumped down the list another 60 to 90 minutes? Get rid of the feature if you can’t HOLD a spot. I find even booking days or weeks in advance you still get delayed. My experience is you are better off to book at an Edmonton location. As far as lab technicians go, never had a negative experience to date.

I've attended this location for the the 2 years and always have had professional and friendly service. Grateful to the staff for being there - especially under the circumstances and current environment. Was there today and a shoutout to Christian (part of "relief" team) for his excellent technical skills (I did not feel the poke of the needle at all) and his amazing communication skills.

What an unfortunate experience. Was told I needed a urine test, every single bathroom was absolutely covered in pee from other patients. I tried to find the cleanest washroom, sadly for me I did not notice that it had urine all over the counter from the previous patients. I unfortunately came into contact with the urine with my hand. I washed up as best I could and then I ran out of the building almost throwing up in the parking lot, didn't finish my other test, not worth it.

I checked in at 7: 30AM. They said it is 35-50min wait time. However, I am still waiting about 90 min. I don't know when my turn comes.

I was initially afraid of blood tests but they made it very easy and simply reassuring for me, so that goes on to show how they're professional and knowledgeable.

Only thing that could use improvement is time management.

I had to come here for blood work, being a complete wimp when it comes to this I put off the appointment.
I’m glad I went here instead of my local hospital lab, the lab tech I dealt with was professional and made the experience literally painless. The only complaint I had was the fact I needed bloodwork in the first place.

Very friendly and understanding. I havent had bloodwork done for any years and I was very nervous about it. They made me feel very comfortable.

Was told it was first come first serve for walk-in appointments. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait. There were 4 or 5 people on the wait list ahead of me. I am Transgender and the front desk lady after looking at my paperwork (trans stuff) the lady was very rude. Then I waited 1.5 hours and had 5-6 people who came in after me go before me and had to go talk to them about it before they got me in. They were not enforcing their mask and covid precautions. I will say that the lady who took my blood was AMAZING and by far the best person I've ever had take my blood as for the rest of the time i was appalled by the state in which they run their business.

Typically believed most labs were consistently the same. Today, however, I had the misfortune of being the patient of the one of the worse lab technicians I had ever experienced! It is mind blowing to think in the ten minutes someone is in your care, you can not say hello, smile, make any eye contact or even say a word to them. And to complete the lovely experience, you stab them so hard it feels as though the needle came out the other end! I was hoping to catch the name of the tech, and I wish I would have asked! But I will never forget the total lack of care from the tech with the bright red hair and will know better to request another technician next time! It is truly unfortunate, because it took away from the great job the staff member did at the entrance welcoming patients and screening prior to entering.

Booked ahead of time and only had to line up for 10 minutes outside today. For the 15 minute duration I was sat comfortably inside I witnessed 2 uncomfortable interactions with patients the lab tech at the entrance had to deal with and I was super impressed with how professionally she dealt with them. I imagine new covid procedures have added stress to the lab as well as the public and these incidences are becoming more frequent, so praise is due for how calmly things were handled. This was also the most gentle blood test I've ever had, barely felt a thing. Grateful for the fact that they are still providing this service and working during these unprecedented times when they are at risk themselves. Thank you.

Absolutely dreadful service - took my sister (a senior) this morning and she stood in a total downpour for over half an hour (along with many others) only to be told she would have to wait 1 1/2 hours. We arrived at 11: 00 AM and she was finally done shortly after 2: 00. There is absolutely no protection from the weather and you have to line up outside just to get registered, regardless of age or health. I am well aware of COVID issues but hardly think making patients wait in pouring rain outside for 30-45 minutes contributes to their health either. If Dynalife can't handle the workload then we need another lab in St. Albert.

Been here many times, it’s clean and most staff are great, however one staff in particular (bright red hair, not sure what her name is) is extremely rude. I dread going in as I hate seeing her. Extremely rude to people of colour and visible minority.

Took my two year old and they did not have their vials ready. Got me to hold him down with assistant while the guy then put on his gloves and opened their butterfly needle. Tried several times on arm and was clearly hurting him so they had to do other arm so I requested another technician and she did it immediately. No sooner than I left and they call me to tell me they missed the most important blood test and they couldn’t make it work with what they had. Will not return, it was a traumatic for my son

There needs to be a better system for getting tests done. I understand that there's a new computer system and wait times are longer, but a wait time of 3 hours at one clinic and then finding out wait time at another clinic that's 15 minutes away is only 20 minutes is totally ridiculous. Maybe come up with an online system that shows how long the wait time is at each location so people can plan accordingly. I'd much rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to only have to wait 20 minutes rather than go to the closest location and wait 3 hours.

Came a little early for my appointment and was in an out within 11 minutes. The woman who did my bloodwork was fantastic, she got a vein first try and I didn't feel a thing. Best dynalife bar none.

Online booking at this Dynalife location is a waste of time.
I booked an appointment at 3: 35 PM and did not get admitted until 4: 02 PM
So much, for online bookings to reduce wait times.
Many others were waiting over 90 minutes.
I will certainly look for another facility if I need medical tests done

The lady working the front was extremely rude and insensitive. You can never get an appointment online i tried many times. The wait times are ridiculous. St. Albert needs another lab.

Not sure why they even MAKE appointments. They take the walk-ins ahead of you anyway. I was there 10 minutes early and waited half an hour. Even after my appointment time I could see the TV screen showing the walk-ins and they ALL went ahead of me. Finally 20 minutes after my appointment I was taken in. I was later for work. Ridiculous system.
Stop just posting your generic reply of not knowing how many people will come in. It doesn't MATTER. That's why people make an APPOINTMENT

Every single time I make an appointment, I'm waiting 30+ minutes after my scheduled appointment. Today im waiting 45 minutes. They clearly need to open more clinics or figure out a better system. This is absolutely ridiculous. You make appointments so you can get in and out.

The blood draw itself is good but they do not honor booked appointments. I booked my appointment 1.5 months in advance because I have a tight schedule, I also gave a 30 minute buffer Incase they were a bit late. Arrive to be told that there is a wait - there are three appointments ahead of me and a bunch of walk-ins who have been waiting. What? ! I did the right thing, planned and booked for my schedule to be told no, sorry wait for all of these walk-in first. I was unable to wait an hour for my blood draw and left (I had to volunteer shift at a hospice and could not be late). Now today I have to miss time at work to go and deal with my labs as a drop in, my boss is not pleased, and I miss out on my pay Cheque! This is unacceptable. If it happens again I will be going to a lab in Edmonton because they do honor their appointments.

Whoever is answering the phones for this company are so unbelievably rude. It ruined my entire day after calling. The lady was rushing me to speak, sounded annoyed by everything I said and was just plain rude. Extremely disappointed in the service.

Forget about thinking that booking an appointment will get you in on time. Booking an appointment means hurry up and wait.
