Love coming here to get Korean groceries and snacks. Staff are always friendly and i like going to the shop at the front for face masks.

There are a variety of Korean and Asian products, so shopping is convenient, and the staff is friendly.

It's always cheaper than A mart. It looks like the gas price went up today too*0*/. I finally found the green onion knife here.

I really like going to Asian markets cuz im Asian ofc but because the A-mart near me got rid of its beauty section I've been forced to go to other onesanyway, it doesn't say anywhere online I think but if you go here for the Beauty section it closes at 6pm and not when the whole store closes at 8pm. I learned that the hard way? The lady who runs the beauty section is realllyy sweet and although I'm shy and stuff it's kinda normal for Asian lady's to be like a universal mom or auntie so she was like touching my hair and stuff showing me the hair accessories and I was like? ‍️but super sweet ladyyy and she even lowered some prices for me when I was ensure about stuff lol. The food prices were good too and my favorite chips are there so my? Item would be turtle chips <3

Great selection for Japanese & Korean groceries and many other Asian grocery. Lots of quality packaged and fresh goods. I really like their house made kimchi. We buy our sushi ingredients and their in house made sushi. Good selection of fresh vegetables. Prices feel fair. Many types of rice in 40lbs bags.

The cashier don’t speak English and is rude!

The cashier is rude and she didn’t know how to speak English. She charged me $9.99 for a kimchi which is on sale for $7.99. So I told her this is on sale for $7.99.
She just canceled the order!
And asked me to pay for the rest, but I said this is on sale and why did you cancel it? She just ignored me. So I went straight and peeled off the sale sign and showed it to her. She examined the bottle for quite a while and also the sign. OMG! Why would I lied for only $2.00?
Finally she knew she was wrong and changed the price to $7.99.
What a courtesy! I will never come back to this store again. Thanks

Nice shop with a huge selection of instant ramen, kimchi and fresh ready-made sushi. Our family prefers a certain brand of rice that's hard to find locally but it is sold here.

Good place clean could use more stock was shopping for Korean ginseng drink fail to find. Still looking want to buy by case

Our go-to location for Korean specific foods and products. We find they generally offer the best selection in Calgary. There is usually plenty of parking available. The store itself is not that large so it can get pretty busy and crowded on the weekends, especially on Sundays.
A Korean snack place and mini restaurant operates inside that's sells rice cakes, tteokbokki, kim bap, etc.

Great market, always well stocked with lots of fresh and frozen options. By far the best green onions in the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful as well.

Overpriced products. Cleanliness is good. For some products, the prices are overwhelmingly high.

Small but well-stocked asian market. Has a variety of meats, frozen foods, and grocery items. Moderate selection of fruits and veggies. Great local place.

This supermarket have amazing meats! And they have so many different spices that you cannot find from other supermarkets.

A really nice place to go for groceries and snacks. There isn't too much to say about E-mart, it's just a small foreign Safeway.

Their meats are very good, I had their premium pork and it was incredible. Have not tried their seafood or wagyu, but they have premium wagyu beef for insanely low prices. Their sushi is very yummy, and they sell sushi-grade fish so you can make your own stuff at home. Every time I go here I always find something new. Fresh fruits and veggies are available, tons of different tofu, rice, seaweed, desserts, ready-to-cook meals etc. You can find pretty much anything asian from here.

They even have a skincare section, the lady who works there is very nice, she offered free skincare packs and I loved them. Made my skin feel fantastic. It was very nice to be immersed into the Korean skincare world, if you will. The products felt nice on my skin and made the dryness go away.

Staff are very kind, I feel like for a few of them, it's a little weird to see white people go in there and buy treats and food. I've gotten a few interesting stares, but they're all very respectful and some are very interested in the fact that I love Asian culture. I guess it's a nice change for them.

Overall, a very basic store but for me, it's filled with wonders. 99% of what's sold here are things I've never seen in my life, or never saw anywhere but in e-mart. The food is great, it's fresh and fun.

I was trying buy a raw salmon and the lid was not close properly and poured out everything: (and the cashier was so rude ever seen in the grocery store. I dont wanna come again. Really bad experience;gross

E-mart is way better than A-mart. A-mart is always so cluttered and shelves are not stocked up regularly. But amart has loyalty cards and emart doesn't.hmm.

It was fine. I really just stopped in thinking that they had ready made Korean food to go, but that did not appear to be the case.

I haven't gone for awhile. This time was the first visit in this year. When I was looking around, they have stuff more than A-mart for sure, especially meat corner, has very different kinds and many choose from. Even the price a little lower than A-mart. (but not 100% sure) I enjoyed shopping anyway.

Very fresh meat ranging from bulgogi, beef and pork belly. Always a great place to go for KBBQ ingredients!

Great little Korean supermarket. The butcher and meat section is excellent with good quality products, authentic cuts and marinades.

Little cramped, veg doesn't always seem well washed, and sometimes there are no multilingual translations on items or displays.

Otherwise, this is one of our favourite grocery stores. Some great finds here, especially for sauces, soups, snacks, and candy. You know. The important things.

Cashiers are fine but that one tall guy who works in the back looks very unhappy and mad.
And most of the stuffs that are not on sale are extremely expensive too

My favorite place to shop for Japanese and Korean supplies. A full service market compete with fish market and talented butchers. Fresh made delicacies such as Kimchi, marinated squid and seasoned bellflower just to mention a few. Fantastically fresh sushi and sashimi in generous portions at prices that seem wrong the are so good. Staff is very helpful if you need it. A very busy market but they speed you through the tolls quicky and always with a smile. Plenty of parking right out front.

What do you do when you need to buy Japanese food products. The choices are very limited her in Calgary. They got you by the short and curlies. The prices are sky high. They ALL are by the way.
Not much you can do unless more competition comes in.

It's a wonder why the staff here are so miserable when the manager screams and belittles his staff infront of customers. Screaming at the top of your lungs and swearing at your employees is NOT ok. I will never support this store again.

Over priced for poor quality. Lot of items such as meat and specially seafood were frozen and thawed mutilple times.

Not sure if the owner is racist, but if you don't want to treated like a thief and be watched as you shop, DO NOT GO HERE!

Too bad use to come all the time. TNT is way better though with better prices and selection.

Great korean supermarket, lots of selections of kimchi. Also love their frozen pre-made hot pot soup base and beef soup base, very easy to buy and make korean feast at home.

Staff are unfriendly and the meat I purchased (pork belly) was clearly frozen and thawed multiple times. It tasted horrible.

I used multiple vegetable bags to load some heavier daikon roots and was scolded by a worker for using too many. Previous experiences, the bags broke. I will only go here if I absolutely have to but refuse to buy any of the meat here after that experience. Workers smoke outside so my child and I got a nice big whiff of smoke on entering the store. Produce section is also a disaster. They sell wilted rotting veggies half the time and hide all their fresh produce until the garbage has sold or decayed. Just reduce it! And offer fresh produce to customers. Can’t even imagine what goes on with the meat section.
