Eager Beaver Moving

We had to move on short notice and were happy to find availability at Eager Beaver. They handled the highway distance and the cold temperatures with no issues or comment.

A cheerful crew showed up and covered our floors to protect them. They didn't mind our "supervision" or directions, and worked with us to protect all our belongings.

At the destination, there was an elevator, a long hallway, a fire door and 3 stairs. It looked complicated and annoying to me, but everything was handled with professionalism and a smile. We really appreciated the crew checking with us about any furniture that needed assembly.

Everything is here and in one piece. The perfect result. Highly recommend.

Despite the bone-chilling -36C temperature, I had my doubts about the delivery of our new sectional sofa. However, to my surprise, I received a notification last night stating that my order would arrive between 10 and 1. I remained hopeful yet skeptical. At 9: 10 this morning, my phone rang, and it was the delivery team informing me that they were only 20 minutes away. True to their word, exactly 20 minutes later, a big green truck pulled up in front of my house.
Considering the freezing weather, I anticipated the movers to be a bit grumpy, which would have been completely understandable. To my delight, I was greeted with warm smiles as Kostya introduced himself and his partner, Dima. They asked about the placement of the couch and requested that I close the door while they prepared everything.
In just a few short minutes, they skillfully maneuvered the pieces through the tight hallway, carefully avoiding any contact with the delicate artwork adorning the walls. Their attention to detail was remarkable.
Once all the components were inside, they swiftly began assembling the 7-seat sofa, all the while wearing cheerful expressions. I couldn't make up my mind about its placement, but they happily accommodated my requests, ensuring I was completely satisfied. Before I knew it, the sofa was fully assembled, tested, and they were off to their next destination. As Kostya bid farewell, he expressed his genuine love for his job and the importance of ensuring no damage occurred.
Prior to today, I had not heard of Eager Beaver Moving & Storage, but if I ever require moving services again, they will be my first call. Kudos to Kostya and Dima for a job well done. Thank you both so much!

The Eager Beaver crew moved my aunt to a supportive living facility January 5,2024. The move went smoothly, without any problems whatsoever. The crew and its leader Chris were timely, fast, efficient, courteous and careful. The office staff supporting the move were also excellent, providing quick, knowledgeable responses to our questions. The company was recommended to us by my aunt’s new facility because they have had good experiences with the company.

Overall excellent. The 3 man crew we had was fantastic, they were engaged and moving very quickly. Be prepared to get out of their way. Let them do their thing. The only small criticism was trying to list every small detail of everything being moved. I see their point but the crew wasn’t too worried. They just moved everything in their path. Would definitely recommend.

This is our second move with Eager Beaver - first time was almost 2 years ago when we had to do a transitional move before our final one today. As expected, the team of 4 show incredible teamwork. They are very professional, polite, and excellent communicators. It was awesome to see how they communicated and worked with each other in moving the heavier items. They were also wonderful at taking directions around where everything goes and did a great job putting the boxes and other things in place. We also stored 50 boxes with them for almost 2 years. Again, the service is excellent. Would highly recommend them! And if we had to move, I would definitely use Eager Beaver services

Kostya, Dima and Roman were amazing! They arrived on time, were polite and personable. They took great care in wrapping our stuff in blankets and moving our things. They had far more patience moving heavy and large, awkward items using an apartment elevator then we ever could. I would reccomend them to anybody and everybody I know.

The team at Eager Beaver did an outstanding job for us here at the Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House on the south side of Edmonton. They moved an 11.5 foot table top weighing 350 pounds up a flight of stairs. They were very conciencious not to damage the walls going up and were very good about removing all the cardboard and shipping material that was associated with the delivery of our new table top. I would highly recommend this locally owned family business for your next move.
