Wow that was horrible. Ordered the Chicken Alfredo and the impossible burger with fries for take out. The Chicken Alfredo sauce was super runny like water. Getting a frozen dinner from Walmart would have been better. I actually had to add stuff to the dish to make it taste edible. And now the impossible burger, ugh. I'm not sure why it's called that maybe because it was more like a sad burger. It was 1 pattie 2 slices of tomatoes a sad looking piece of lettus and a pickle with mustard on a regular bun. I should have just order from the Wendy's next door, they got a deluxe burger that would have been 1000 times better the that was. 100% fail Earl. Don't waste your money ppl it's not worth it
Had a lovely time on the patio this afternoon. Restaurant is very stylish and the food was tasty. There was a mixup about my order but the management and staff went above and beyond in setting things right and my friends and I were so impressed at their customer service!
My server was Brooke Through professional and knowledgeable. I do not have much option being vegetarian, the server spent time to go through and finally I have spring greens and caramelized cheesecake. Wonderful service and great food. Will happy to visit the location again
We went there for dinner on Canada Day, and the food was delicious! They have a couple of new items on the menu, so if you're thinking of going it is a great choice.
Just a small minor detail was wrong with the food, but Claire the manager stepped in and rectified the situation, very professional and super friendly! Our server Sam was attentive friendly and amazing! Food was delicious and service was over all incredible! Hire more Sam's and Claire’s! Well all def be back again for all occasions:)
Terrible service. Bad experience for our first date night. Only one server was working. Everyone else was busy fist bumping their friends. We had to switch tables in the middle of our meal because the lights went out on our table. There were flies near our table. We ordered wings and tacos for starters. Couldn’t sit there any longer to enjoy a complete meal. We had to keep asking for napkins. The server was busy serving other tables that he couldn’t attend to us to even pay our check. Not coming back here again!
For the price, it's not worth it. Loster tail was very small, steak was decent size but flavorless. My daughter and I both had steak and lobster, wings to start, 2 drinks for me, 1 for her. $150.
We've now had several online orders for pick up where the food was horrible. I'm only giving 3 stars because we've never had issues eating in, otherwise it would be a zero rating. If you're going to eat here, do NOT order for pick up. Make sure you eat in.
We have been lucky enough to have the same server the majority of our visits. Doreen is a great server and always has our table laughing. Everytime we leave we always comment amongst each other how much fun she brings to our table! Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks again from the group that usually sits in the back corner booth in the lounge.
We ordered for pickup and one gentleman refused to believe it was for me because we came from the lake and we were in our bathing suits and we didn’t look rich or privileged or classy to pick up the food then when he went to look at the computer and realized it was actually mine he walked right past me gave it to another server and run into the back in the kitchen to avoid me how rude how stereotypical
Food was definitely not the highlight, browned lettuce, frozen steak, dry mashed potato’s and out door patio seats and speakers were dirty. Drinks were great!
On Sunday my fiancee and I decided to go to Clareview Earls. We recently moved back to the area about 6 months ago from downtown. I feel that we hadn't yet gone because honestly there is so much competition, and I really over did Earls in my past years!
I am so happy that we decided to drop into Earls on July 4th. It certainly gave me a fresh look, and the service was fantastic! The host was very pleasant in seating us to a booth. I quickly decided that i wanted to move to the bar, and the waitress was very accomadating. We ordered some basic menu items, chicken fingers, Dynamite roll, beer, ceasars, and tequila, and all were very good. The thing that made our whole experience worth coming back for though, was Nick the bartender. I work in the service industry at a busy downtown bar, and Nick was one of the most pleasant bartenders I have ever met. He was engaging, service was great, and Nick was just a genuinely awesome person. He definietly made our visit fun and memorable.
We will definitely be making Earls a weekly stop from now on.
Amazing food The waiter totally forgot my boyfriend was sitting beside me for to ask him to a beverage until my boyfriend had to ask him self for a water, then as the evening went on the waiter asked everyone if they wanted a refill and my bf asked if he could get get a refill on his water it never came
I really wanted to give a five star, I loved what I ordered, the Steak Frite was on point! I didn’t do my research before going because my husband and I brought our 16 month old grandson and it was a challenge to keep him occupied for the time it took to receive our food. No kids menu, meant that we had to order two appetizers which was an expensive kids meal that he couldn’t finish. They didn’t have a highchair and the booster seats were all used up so i had to sit him on my lap until one became available. It wasn’t busy so maybe they only had three at most. My husband ordered the lobster and steak.we both tried the chocolate peanut butter cheese cake. The raspberry sauce balances the richness perfectly. We will come back someday but not with any kids lol
DO NOT ATTEND THIS EARLS! Very poor staff. They were eavesdropping a conversation I had with my friends. Assistant Manager was extremely rude and difficult to talk to.
Terrible experience. Fruit flies in the restaurant, the wine glass I was given was filthy and had stains, steak I ordered for medium came back well done and not the most flavourful fillet steak I've have in a long time. I was totally disappointed and would probably not consider going back. That aside the wait staff was friendly at least the lady who attended to me was.
I am extremely disappointed with this location. My wife who has 3 children and her sister as well as their friend went out for the first time in what it might seem as ages. The arrived at the restaurant and were eating and drinking coffee when the manager of this location came to them to remove them from the restaurant stating a waitress over heard them talking about her. The problem is that they could not point out who made a disrespectful statement nor could they even say what statement was made. My wife is not a child to be back talking about anyone nor is she disrespectful to be talking about a waitress.
No questions asked from management but gave them the bill and sent them on their way. I am extremely disappointed with earls and will be filing a formal complaint as this was not right. My wife wears a hijab and she felt as if they were just being racist towards them because they were speaking a different language. Earls im sorry but i will be going to social media with this and possibly take it even further. My wife a mother of 3 with a 12 year old child as the oldest does not have to come home angry when she barely gets to leave the house to sit with her friends.
Had I been there I would have left the restaurant happily without paying the bill as this is BS. Thank you Earls
Im not even sure why a waitress or anyone would be listening to peoples conversations as it is not their job.
What does a Waiter do? Waiters make drinks, clean tables, prepare seating for new customers, keep track of inventory, let management know when to order supplies, and have conversations with customers. They get to know regular visitors and their orders, and they offer suggestions when people aren’t sure about what they will choose. Waiters also restock supplies, serve customers quickly, and help the businesses run smoothly. They often operate coffeemakers, ice cream dispensers, blenders, cash registers, and other equipment. Waiters can work full-time or part-time, and more experienced employees sometimes train new hires.
Since reopening, I find prices have gone up. Drinks are expensive. I ate off the featured menu, pasta seafood dish and it was mediocre, no flavor. The table wasn't wiped down properly once seated and when I mentioned to the hostess, she wiped down only half the table.there were still glass ring marks on the table and sticky. However the staff are friendly! Good job on service, but value and taste/quality have gone down.
My boyfriend and I went for Sunday happy hour. The calamari was excellent and my dynamite roll was perfect. The service was a bit poor. I really didn't like my watermelon slushie drink and I would have liked to order a different drink but our server didn't come back until all the food was gone and my boyfriend had finished his beer. At that point we had already decided to leave. I don't recall if anyone even asked us how the food was.
Had Nick as my server, and it was a first date with a girl I met off a dating app. Nick went above and beyond and joked around, was absolutely amazing and he made that date top notch. He was the best hype man and waiter someone could ever ask for! Will ask for him next time I’m in
Great service and lots to chose from on the menu. We ordered the Steak + Sushi and Wok-Fried Chicken Lettuce Wrap. Dynamite roll was excellent but the steak was tough and full of grizzle. Wok-Fried Chicken Lettuce Wrap were extremely salty with to much soy sauce and very little chicken. Its been hit or miss at this location for us over the past 5 years.
Placed on line order steak lobster calamari chicken ceaser and burger and fries All orders had pop Steak was burnt lobster was rubber No fries no pops arrived Mashed potatoes tasted like powdered instant potstoes Paid 120.00 for a terrible food won't do that again
It was a beautiful day n ended it at Earls. Was our 1st time. Nicely lit up n had amazing food. Had heard of tacos being good. It was as v heard. Just that the portions r small. Expected it to be littl bigger for the money we paid. Had full portion of cabin chicken with pork ribs. They wer really good. Will go back for sure.
Asked several times for utensils and napkins. They showed after the last request when our appetizer arrived which took around an hour. They ran out of sanitizer and had no additional masks. I'll give them some leeway as it was the 1st day of patio opening bit hoping they get a handle on this. They seemed unorganized.
The place offers a nice variety of delicious food. I enjoy eating here. Employees are always helpful, rates are fair and the spot is always kept clean.
The food is always fresh and flavorful, employees provides great customer service. I liked the cleanliness and character. I highly recommend this spot.
It was alright service, nothing to brag about from start to finish. We had booked a table in advance and when arrived we were told that we would be sat on the outside of the covering (even though the rain was coming), and then asked if we would just rather do takeout. Obviously not if we have pre reserved a table. We did ask to be moved under the cover once a table opened, and where accommodated however still half out. Probably won't be back for some time.
Dining experience is always great as their staff are friendly and accommodating. Items on the menu are limited (probably because of the pandemic), but their food is delicious!
