Earls Kitchen + Bar

I dislike them asking for my phone number when walking in for a table, just creepy data collection. Fries were too salty, forgot cheese on my burger, wouldn't do a half fries/chowder for my wife, which we've had done recently at other locations and have done for decades having worked at an earls for years in my 20s. Underwhelming experience for all the razz and tech they're using these days.

The sandwich I had was a bit bland, not quite what I was expecting, but the service was great.

The potatoes in my potato salad were still raw, which was disappointing, but the chicken was great

Our kids took us out for brunch to celebrate our 30th anniversary. When the kids were much younger (10ish), it was a special treat to go to Earl's. The place has been very much updated since then and is quite attractive. We had great service from the staff (including the nice lady who snapped a few photos of us for my wife's Facebook friends). Food came quickly and was excellent. It was early so most of us ordered Eggs Benedict which I found to be perfectly prepared. The tiny parking lot in front of the building is much the same as it was 40 years ago, but they have a much larger lot across the street. It's probably best just to go straight to the larger lot. I will likely visit Earl's some evening soon to check out the dinner menu.

Always loved the atmosphere here. Earls still remains one of my favorite restaurants. Even on a mistake for food they recover and serve very well.

My husband loved the Chicken Biryani, the hollandaise on my eggs Benedict was slightly cool. As an aside, I dislike that the tip calculator starts at 18% now. Food prices have gone up so even at 15% tip I am tipping you more than I was two years ago.just saying. Nice atmosphere and a great visit with friends.

My wife and I just got earls for the first time in a year or two and we ordered what we used to get. Not sure if it was an off night in the kitchen or what but the food was not even close too their old standard. Couldn’t even finish our meals. If I knew what I was getting I would have gone to the Wendy’s up the street and saved myself $70. Consider other options if considering a night out.

Earls always is consistently good for both food and service. No exception today. Have the Hunan!

The server never asked my name that we reserved the table under and it was special occasion my birthday as well. Not happy with the way the server looked after us.

Waited 10 minutes before server came by, place was not busy at all. Server acted as though we were an inconvenience. Food was not particularly good, expected a bit better from Earl's.

Really disappointed with our experience this time. The hostess took 15 mins to seat us, the food took forever, there was no cutlery for another 5 mins after our food arrived, and when it did, there was a hair in my daughter's pizza. It was remade, but not in time. My Earl's favorite cesar salad was a soggy mess. I'm honestly not one to complain but this was truly disappointing. Not sure we'll be back!

Sherwood Park Earls, huge dining room full of empty tables, good bar area tho, they also have a big patio.parking is basically across the street always. Earls does have great happy hour and good Sunday specials. I'm also a big fan of their house beers. Probably too big of a fan, ruined at least one year of my life expectancy I bet

Like Moxie's, average food with a high price. They stuck me in the sun on the patio with no shade and I burned like toast

Food was fresh and flavourful. Curbside pickup worked but food was not ready at the time requested. We enjoyed the Santa Fe chicken salad, cajun chicken and the tuna poke bowl. Good value for the portion sizes. 4 stars not 5 because of 20 minute delay for food not being ready.

Couldn’t give this location a 5/5 BECAUSE the plant based menu is misleading. The item ‘Vegan Tempura shrommini bowl’ is NOT actually vegan. As it is fried in the grill that also shares oil with meat. Also came specifically here for the Vegan cauliflower bites so find out they have been taken off the menu. So disappointed…. They were the go to snacky of the century. Do better Earls!

Had a drink and a few bites, always like Earls food. Found it strange that the waitress was boxing up the leftovers with her fingers instead of allowing us to box it up with our cutlery.

6 of us Went for a late-night snack, the whole place was empty but due to staff shortages we waited 15 minutes.
Server seemed new and very unsure.
They goofed up the orders for us and our friends, didn't bring cutlery, and didn't get the drink order right.
The parking lot sucks here.

We went a little early for dinner one day, arrived around 16: 30 and the place was pretty quiet. The greeter was super nice and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waitress was quick to get our drinks out and before we knew it, our food was ready, from sitting down to having our meal I would say was less then 20min. Great experience.

Pre-covid, this place was fine (not great, but fine at least). Since re-opening, this place has gone SO downhill.first of all, they refused to accept cash, even in 2021? No other place was doing that at that time.second of all, I’ve been to the SP location at least 3 or more times in the last year or so, and the food is less than satisfactory every single time. SUPER disappointing to see this location has gone so downhill.the service is also mediocre at best.hopefully corporate is able to step in and stop this location from hitting rock bottom.

I usually love this place for it's atmosphere and food. Yesterday the food wasn't so great. My Thai Curry Chicken Bowl was luke warm at best and very salty. I let it go and ate it nevertheless. But than the latte was luke warm as well. Not sure what was wrong with the kitchen yesterday.

Great service went over and above would recommend for any time you want a top of th line eating experience

Service was good. The food was sub par. Not what I'm used to at Earls. Skimpy and expensive. Step it back up Earls.

Update: If you plan to go for Happy Hour, make sure you get there 15 minutes early. We ordered our drinks from the Happy Hour menu. Once the drinks arrived we started our food order. I chose something from the HH menu but as the server was typing it in, the clock ticked over and we were told the HH menu was no longer available. I looked at my watch and it was 20 seconds after the hour. Wow. To no avail, we were told we now had to pay the full price. Incredibly shabby to treat your customers this way. Other places honor the HH menu as long as you are seated before HH ends.

Old review: Used to be the go to place but there are many other good options now in Sherwood Park. The last two visits we made to Earl's were unsatisfactory. The staff was disorganized and service was really slow. Not sure if they don't have enough staff or if the manager and staff lack experience. Never see the same wait staff twice so turnover must be a problem. Food is ok but be prepared to wait. Two hours tonight and we didn't have dessert or coffee. Didn't get water or drinks for 25 minutes.

I went to Earls this evening with a small party for a late dinner. I hadn't been to Earls in a long time but thought I would try it out. There was a really stressed out vibe to the place and our server, Jordan, seemed almost angry and kind of threw our food down. I was just looking for a calm, relaxing night out during this horrible pandemic and I didn't find it here. It seemed like there was few staff and everyone was just running around like headless chickens. I was already pretty iffy about Earls but I will definitely not be returning.

Great service. The food was excellent. There was an issue with happy hour pricing but was quickly resolved.

The service is medium. The food is the same as every other Earl's. The location is clean and easily accessed.

Went with a friend for dinner on Thursday night. Our table service and food were excellent - kudos to our server "Bryn" and the kitchen staff. We have had her before and she never disappoints. Would definitely repeat.

Consistent Location, I frequented this location many times prior 2013, great job management and staff front and back of the house. Friendly and attentive staff, the customer comes first. Great lunch and good atmosphere in the lounge.

Very poor service, forgot to enter our appetizer. Server brought our main course and still forgot 1 person meal. No cutlery either. Ruined our night. I am not coming here again.

Bryn was the best server I’ve ever had. I got the garlic prawn spaghettini and the entire staff delivered it perfectly. I look forward to coming to this location again.

Food was very good. Spaghetti with shimp was delish, others has fish & chips, chicken sandwiches and crab cakes. Service was a little slow. Took quite a while to get drinks.

Our dinner was not great. The menu has been scaled down, which is fine, but they didn't have some of the items that were still on the menu. Earl's was a great place back in the day. Not so much anymore. Our waitress was lovely and the staff is really nice considering what they have to work with.

Food was great as always, Sarah was our server and she was really awesome all the food was correct and she made sure all was well.

Earls has always been one of my favourite restaurants but lately it has not been up to standard. This time we ate at the restaurant. First of all they got rid of my favourite drink so I was disappointed to go there and find out they got rid of it. It was busy so service was slow took about 20 minutes to get drinks then another 20 minutes to order food, took 20 mins to get appetizers and dinner. Our server kept forgetting to get things for the table so we had to keep asking. I always order the blackened Cajun chicken which comes with potato salad, they changed it alittle so it no longer has bacon bites. The last 2 times I have eaten at the Sherwood park location the food has been kind of disappointing.

Had a terrible experience the last time me and the wife came here, we decided to sit in the lounge. It was more like a bar at the end of the night than an upscale establishment. Three tables were extremely drunk and belligerent, yelling loudly at other tables and profanity, the guys were walking around "hitting" on other patrons. It was uncomfortable and all in all not an experience I'd wish to have again. What seriously got to me was they continued to serve these tables alcohol and noone was put in check for their behavior. Maybe this location has now become earls nightclub? The food was great and the server was also nice and apologized for the "loudness", that's why two stars. We won't be returning here.

Ordered through skip the dishes tonight, order showed up missing a key dish. Called the restaurant and was informed that there is nothing that they can do as far as getting us the food or discounting the bill. So just remember, if they miss something on your order, that's too bad for you.

Well prepared meal, friendly service. There was a 15 minute wait at 1pm, but that must be because the food is so tasty.

Service was fine, and it's convenient to pay the bill without waiting for the server now. However I was disappointed when I tried to order a cider and was told they were out of stock. I ordered a ceasar instead and it was really quite mediocre, not what you expect when paying for a cocktail at Earls. Tasted like there was little to no Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, or lime juice. Just vodka and clamato with some salt around the rim.

Food quality has gone down, really slow service and they got rid of their pan bread, you need keep your flagship menu items. Also, the beer was warm and the drinks were not restaurant quality, they shouldn't even sell strawberry margaritas they just put syrup in it. Earl's use to be my favorite restaurant and I have had too many bad experiences lately especially at this location that I might never go back. Its like after the pandemic they feel like its a pain that you are even dining there, not a nice experience anymore.

I had an amazing order of clam chowder (was very surprised) with lots of crab, fish. Mom had the fish tacos appetizer which she quite enjoyed. I was disappointed they were seating people side by side in booths inside, and none of the staff were wearing masks (yes, I know restrictions have been lifted - just my opinion). Patio seating was well spaced out. Would definitely come back to the patio.

The customer service was absolute garbage, I am very disappointed in the service I was given. The portions for the price are very small and when I asked in a special request to provide more pieces for one of the dishes they had asked for an extra charge of 7$. Why would I pay extra for a dish that is already quite expensive? The tacos are worse, the portions are small and are not even a full dish. Three small tacos with hardly any chicken in them, is this some kind of joke? Will never order from here again, and I surely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered the avocado quinoa power bowl.the description says there are roasted squash, beets, toasted pumpkin seeds, and crispy chickpeas.there is barely any squash and beets.and for having quinoa in the name im suprised with lack there of.there were also bits of rice krispies in it? There was no lettuce listed in the description.and its all basically lettuce.so essentially you are paying $16 for lettuce which is a rip off.i wouldve complained in restauraunt but this was a curb side pick up.

They gave us a hard time about reordering after a product return, and keeping the "Happy Hour" pricing for the placement!
