For a going away party on a Friday night, we wanted to eat somewhere nice, and where the food is delicious. Turns out you can’t make a reservation for under 8 people. Instead you have to wait about an hour to get a table, when they could’ve just taken the reservation. Disappointed to say the least.

The Dynamite Roll and Blackened Chicken were both good with the exception of a green oil added to the Blackened Chicken plate. More oil is jot necessary!

Service was reasonable as it was fairly busy.

Restaurant is great. Afternoon crowds was fairly busy. Friendly wait staff. Half chicken and ribs was great. Hot potato salad, coleslaw was even good light and lots of flavor. Always a good experience anytime of day.

Very hit and miss…more miss than hit. Have gone five times over the last month and two were quite good and three were quite disappointing, hence the 2/5 rating. Food and service both seem to depend on who’s on shift for the day. Only time I’ve ever seen what appeared to be a manager she spent the whole time flirting with a customer and texting on her phone inside the bar; which was interesting because the place was packed and the servers were obviously swamped.

Dinner today was frustrating, frustrating enough to actually write a review. Three guys out for dinner after work…they sat us at a couples booth…the lounge was half empty. Asked to move to a table that we actually fit at, was flat out told no, not possible due to having to keep all the waitresses equally busy…but our waitress had a table in every corner or the lounge, so not sure why we couldn’t sit at a table big enough for three guys. Guess it’s time to head to the steakhouse down the road or one of the places across the bridge next time. Shouldn’t be that hard to get a table designed for your party size, warm food, more than a single drink refill in a hour and a half.

Also why are their kids in the lounge? There’s a restaurant section as well.

Came in at 1140 on Sunday, enough time for happy hour brunch…server conveniently waited until 1201 to take our order… 40 minutes later, and still no food. Not a larger table, 4 adults. Definitely not the level of service I expect from Earls. Food came out at 1250.3 orders of eggs Benedict- all cold. Bacon, cold and over cooked. The offer: take it back “warm it up”. Honestly just a terrible experience. I should have gotten up with my family and left to another place.

Great place to go out and eat in Fort McMurray. Service is always great the only downside for me personally is with their updated menu. They swapped the butter chicken with another dish which is super disappointing for me. But I would still recommend for date nights or good food

Amazing restaurant with exceptional staff and quality food in a wonderful atmosphere right downtown. Highly recommend.

Service was quite slow, not sure if they are having staffing issues at this time of the year. Food was good and fresh as always. Prices have gone higher, maybe to do with inflation or Fort McMurray pricing. Overall experience good!

Jessica was the best! We were on a time crunch and she managed to get us out on time, with nothing but top notch service. I could’ve had 5 more mojitos easily, I’ll be back to see her!

So I brought my Mother for a nice lunch, so I get placed next to a family with kids in an empty restaurant. Then the kids pee and they get a worker to clean it up with a filthy stinky mop. I get a great meal but a horrible experience. I ordered a Taco meal that said I get 4 but I got 2. I couldn’t get the waitress to look at me because she was too interested in the Father of the family next to us. My first time to Earls, and I figure my last.

This was my first time here, the food was stunning, I had the Cajun chicken warm potato salad and coleslaw. Now I have never ate coleslaw cause I find it horrendous but hands down one of the best coleslaw I’ve had let alone the mean was truly amazing and the atmosphere with the staff is warm and welcoming. Well definitely return!

Don't order for take out. You will never get all you ordered and is always super cold. Over priced for what you get. Last 2 times missing over 20 bucks worth of food and drinks. Earls used to be my favorite but after the last 2 attempts, my family and I won't be giving you any of our buisness.

The food tasted great but the Tuna Poke Bowl did a number on my stomach for the next two days. Maybe having tuna in landlock is a bad idea? Hahaha

If you’re looking for a place that is fancy yet casual well staying modern, earls the place to go! I do recommend anything with a few sides as portions tend to be small for what you’re paying.

We had Jenna as our server and she was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly and attentive which made our dining experience just that much better!

Sat down at the bar, 4 people behind the bar, waited 15mins for a greeting or to be served, nothing.place was pretty much empty. Pathetic

I had a chance to try the impossible burger for the first time and it was really really good! So realistic though I almost thought I was eating meat lol. The cauliflower was really good too.

Earls has been since coming to Fort mcmurray, the place to get good food, drinks and service.
The have actual gluten free options;
Buns, Tacos and Fries.
The Cajun chicken and ribs is still on the menu.
Just go eat there, your life is that simple.

Haven't had anything bad off the menu here yet. Not what I'd call a cheap place, but thats not a grip, you get what you pay for and the quality is top knotch.

Walked in for my order and three people sitting at a table wearing no masks.i asked the waitress maybe they should be wearing a mask its the bylaw, she said but 1 of them is the owner. So guess the owner is exept from the bylaw

Experience was amazing, the decor is definitely something to check out! Food was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly! Especially The employee named "Jacob" he made sure that our table was always clean of clutter, he had such a charming personality. I would highly recommend Earls Fort McMurray to anyone who gets the chance to stop in!

I brought my grand daughter for a special date lunch here today. During Covid has been so difficult. Earls made this putting such a joy. Their attention to following Covid protocol appears meticulous.the outdoor patio is superb and really lovely - set up for all weather with a canopy and heaters. Our server was excellent.paying extra attention to my grand daughter who loved it/ thank you! The food was really good - lovely experience

This is my favourite restaurant in town! The decor is wonderful! I definitely enjoy the Warm Three Cheese and Artichoke dip! The only item I would not order again was the calamari. It was kind of undercooked and flavourless. Other than that, the restaurant, cocktails, and food are to die for. Great for a Saturday night with friends and family!

It was ok I hadn't been to Earl's in a few years found there prices went up and somethings changed like the artisan bread with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar not the same used to be an Italian bread with herbs and you dipped in the olive oil balsamic vinegar. I was sad

Food here is always great and the staff super friendly. Service was prompt and the wait was minimal. Everything was kept clean.

Taylor is a fantastic server, respectful, always checking up to see if you need more drinks.
Yo but real talk, I recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with garlic fires, if you don't get garlic fires then don't bother coming. Also while you are here might as well have Moscow mule.

Posting reviews of restaurants can be challenging as each individual experience can vary based on the kitchen staff and the waitress you have each experience. But overall I think this is one of the best places in town. 9/10 times my server is awesome, engaging and polite. (It's also nice that they have some male servers in the mix)
As for the food it is almost always perfect, and even on the off day when the chefs have not impressed me it still beets most other places on their best day. The menu speaks for itself, my only complaint is that it is so hard to decide. Most places I find a small assortment of dishes that look appealing but this place almost everything on the menu is mouthwatering.
In the last 3 or 4 times here I have met the managers all the way from the kitchen, to the bar and general manager and have even met the owner and a gentleman who used to run and own the place before moving.
I'm giving it 5 stars because I cant think of a better place to eat in town.

Ribeye steak warm potatoe salad and asparagus is delish as well as anything else I have tried nice atmosphere friendly servers great place for a date or family dinner

When it comes to great quality food served fresh I would highly recommend Earl's kitchen + Bar. The Rib eye and the butter chicken are me and the wife's favorite. (I was disappointed by the fish and chips however, small portions and OK overall) Also the pumpkin pie was absolutely delicious, looked made inhouse and tasted like it too! It's a must try if its available! Prices are not TOO crazy considering the quality. Highly recommended.

Terrible service, the waitress was in a walking comba she didnt even look at us or check in at any point in time. The Sushi came out of the fridge and the batter on the fish was like battered jerky

Had to click at least one star to post although I give this place two thumbs down. Ate there one time only and had to go to emerge. Diagnosis was suspected food poisoning. I overheard a co-worker say that he took his wife there for their anniversary. Said they found what appeared to be makeup prints on their plates and glasses. Since they were trying to enjoy their evening, they didn't make a fuss. Said he paid for the "experience" simply to spare "the poor waitresses feelings" and they left.
