Visited the restaurant during Happy Hour. They have an extensive Happy Hour menu which is somewhat extensive.

Service was great. Server very attentive without being overly attentive. Food presented nicely, good portions.

Would definitely return.

To start, next to everything we wanted to order they were out of. The food was luke warm. When wanting to pay with the 10$ additional gift cards received upon purchasing the 50$ ones, no one said anything about them not being active until January 2nd. Also, our waitress brought us the iPad to tip her before using any of the gift cards, with the lowest tip amount being 18% and no other option to switch what amount we felt the service and food deserved. Most obviously she was thinking we wouldn’t tip on the full amount of the bill. All in all for a bill being $140 with a tip well over the deserved amount, the experience in its entirety could have been 10x better.

We went here at 4: 00 on a Sunday to have an early dinner as we had kids with us. When we walked in only 1/3 max of the restaurant had people seated. We asked for a table for 5 + a high chair. The hostess left the front and went into the kitchen then came back and said she would have to sit us as a group of 3 & 3 because they had so many reservations that night she couldn’t give us a table. It seemed to be that the high chair was the issue, and we asked if she was sure they couldn’t seat us together as the restaurant was virtually empty. She reiterated it was not possible for such a large group…. I understand that reservations take precedence but at 4: 00 on a Sunday with children we would have been in and out within an hour, but no timeline was even offered to accommodate. We went to Joeys down the road and they too said we are booked but if you are done by 6 we can accommodate, we were out by 5: 15. Needless to say they lost customers that day and in the future. Was a really puzzling and unnecessary denial of service when the restaurant was a ghost town. I’m really unsure of the actual reason,

Waited over 45 minutes to get seated. People were leaning but none were being seated. Full of dirty tables that weren't cleared. Two hosts at the front not doing much. A table of four employees off to the side. Very poorly managed. That being said our waitress once we were seated only after I asked the host if it would be faster if we ordered take out, was wonderful and the food was good. That bring said, this is the last time we will frequent this restaurant.

1. What happened to your beautiful celebration of Bdays? We were there about a year ago, your staff came out singing and a sparkler was brought out with a complimentary dessert. We celebrated my mother’s 85th Bday then. Yesterday we went back fr her 86th and everything was taken away. The dessert, the sparkler and the staff singing Happy Bday!

2. We were taking an additional dessert for our relative at home. We were not leaving yet. The waitress dropped off the dessert to us in a bag. We didn’t realize that it had ice cream. All ice cream was melted when we got home. Sidney could hv waited with dessert til we were leaving. Or she could have offered to keep the ice cream part in the freezer for us!

I had a fantastic experience at Earl's yesterday. Our server, Sydney, was attentive and respectful of my gluten and dairy sensitivity. It was wonderful talking with the courteous and professional managers, Izzy and Jarret. The food was fabulous (avocado dip with cajun chicken with a gf bun and fries), and I will definitely return! Thanks again!

Went in for a birthday dinner. Waited 20 minutes to tell us that they do not have lot of items on menu today. Had just ordered fries to start and decided to leave. Asked for manager before we pay. The server stood their until we paid before calling
manager. Manager didn't have courtesy to even waive any costs for our wasted time. Will never be back

Went to Earls for lunch, it has always been great food and service. Today was a different story. Stood in line to be seated for 5 mins understandably it was lunch time. Waited 5 mins for water, not acceptable. Placed our order and let our server know we had a tight time frame. She forgot one of our lunch items and said it was coming.we finished the food we had without any check in from our server still did not receive our crab cake. Had to flag down another server to ask her to let our server know we wanted to cancel the crab cake. Still no visit from our server. Crab cake shows up. No thanks send it back. Our server sees this and still ignores us. Finally she swings by remove our plates and bring our bill. No apologies, no how was the food? Nothing. Very poor. I won’t be rushing back there anytime soon.

The salmon was tasty, a tad dry but ok with some lemon. The rice was supper dried out, the fellow said yeah sometimes it happens. So they offered me a salad instead. They were kind enough to just charge me for the salmon.

I love this restaurant so much! It has been so long since we have been able to meet any friends and we wanted a great time. The food and drinks were perfect and so quick to come out. The spinach dip is my all-time favourite! We so appreciated both our server and the manager who made sure we were well taken care of. These ladies went above and beyond. Thank you! We will definitely be back soon.

Ordered the only steak in stock, 9oz. Asked for well done aka cooked.got the plate, came rare. Asked for a replacement steak WELL DONE.so cut right down the middle, as it looked so good. Low and behold, RARE again. Idk what the chef thought, but not again am I going to Earl's on westside

JUST WOW! It was like Madonna herself was serving us, and Gordon Ramsay cooked the meal himself. The service was far more then exemplary, the restaurant itself is just down right stunning, once I’m walked in I was greeted with nothing but Michelan star service and fed by baby Jesus himself.

This is my first time to Earls, it was a great experience added the lunch is with my team after 2 years. I loved my dish (Oven Roasted Blackened Salmon). Perfectly done and very tasty. Definitely recommend it!

Reasonable quality and quantity of food for the price you pay delivered with the respect that you would expect from a restaurant like this. However, I do not recommend any of the Thai cultural dishes - they are under seasoned, not full bodied, and quite a bit further below the quality line of other dishes.

I was expertly seated and served tonight, however my thai red Curry lacks flavor and my rice was chewy. I was looking forward to this but now all I remember is the off smell in the washroom.

Not a good experiance at all.
The service was bad, thee food was bad. I had the breakfast it came with 2 half pieces of almost burnt bacon, very oily potatoes undercooked eggs. I was very hungry so ate some the sever never came back to check on us. We ordered chicken tenders for 4yr old she came back said there were no bread crumbs to make them. Left came back by now we convinced him on pizza. But she ssaaid tthe cook went to get b.c she could get chicken. We all ordered. Lol the chicken appeard. 5 min later they could not make sushi. Asked iff she wanted something insted chose soup but steak did not come. Ordered tacos, they aarrived well after everyone was finished eating.wouldd not recommend this location, We do not intend to go back.

Staff is very friendly. Food was good and arrived not long after we ordered despite the restaurant being pretty full. My only issue is the paper straws. They dissolve. Paper straws are a very stupid idea and switching from plastic to lumber materials doesn't help the environment at all. There are other options of biodegradable straws that come from plants that grow MUCH faster than trees.

My dad and I went for dinner at this Earl's on a nice Monday night. The staff were incredibly gracious as my dad has special dietary needs. They were very generous and provided excellent service. Food was very good, soup selection is limited but overall we were very happy with the visit.

Staff is social and professional and the patio is lovely. Even when there's a little rain there's an overhang so you can still enjoy the outside and they provide a blanket to keep ya warm. Best happy hour prices in my opinion.

On 09.04.21, we went to our favorite Earls. This one is the best of all in the Edmonton area. There are few places where all members of my family enjoy the same restaurant. The main reason for this are the people who work here. Although we only dine here 1-2 times per month, our server Hannah T remembered us, and we were happy to see familiar smiling eyes behind her mask. Our food was about 25 minutes, but was worth it. Both Hannah and one of the runners kept our glasses full, which not all servers will do.
When our fries arrived somewhat cold, we really didn't care because we were so hungry, but she brought us hot fresh ones even though we said it was fine! One of the managers came by and we related to her how happy we were that there is still a place which can deliver excellent quality food, and have service staff which care enough to make sure everything is perfect. We don't expect perfect, but it says something about the care and attention Hannah, the hostesses, the evening manager who all care enough to deliver a spectacular and personable experience. So while Earls may be somewhat expensive for some hand-held dinner items, it is servers like Hannah who care enough on a personal level about maintaining the rich history of the Earls west end experience, which will keep us coming back for what has always been a consistently wonderful family night out.

Amazing food, amazing service! We went out for a Canada Day date and our waitress Adina gave us the best service, she was kind funny and all around made our date more enjoyable. Highly recommend this Earls!

We often order from a couple of different Earls restaurants in the city. This location was a bit of a disappointment. They projected our order to be ready at a certain time; it was ready 25 minutes later than what was estimated. I understand that many restaurants are feeling a pinch having to balance curbside and in person dining, but we didn’t order anything complex. We both had chicken tenders and side Caesar salads. Initially my husband ordered the warm potato salad but they had called and mentioned it wasn’t available. The tenders were okay, but didn’t seem as crisp as they normally are. The Caesar salad wasn’t very good, as the lettuce didn’t seem very fresh and the dressing was lack luster. Even the croutons were oily which was strange. I did have to call and find out when the order would be ready as I was expecting the usual text, and I asked the nice employee how long the food had been sitting when she delivered the food. She reassured me it was quite fresh and was only packaged a few minutes ago. Overall, we probably won’t order from that location again.

Always something for everyone at Earl's. Had a nice supper 'til the rain chased us away, enjoyed the service. I hadn't been there for ages, they used to have such huge portions that your food was cold by the time you finished it. Nice to see that it's gotten more realistic. Burgers are perfect size!

One of the best patios in the city. It started raining and we were warm under the heaters and covered. Awesome food and so many plant based options including wine. Service was amazing and make sure you get the fries!

I took Thai chicken curry for take out, and wow what a disappointment. I opened the containers and has 1 cup not even properly cooked rice and the Thai chicken and sauce in another container. I wish I could attach my pictures, it was a joke. I paid 20.00 for it. I will not ever go back or get delivery from Earl's again, they should be ashamed serving this small of a portions for the money. Seriously the rice was maybe $ 1.00 worth, they could have at least given 2 cups. I never give a review, but I could not hold back this time.

Exceptional customer service! Connor and his team were so great. We had order food with skip the dishes and after 45 minutes of waiting we called the restaurant to see if the food had been picked up. Connor advised it had and should be on its way to us. 20 minutes later the skip the dishes showed no update and we still had no food. We called the restaurant back Connor and his team went above and beyond. A team member was just finishing his shift so they remade our order and the co worker personally delivered it for us and they even threw in dessert! If we could give more than 5 stars we definitely would. Highly recommended this restaurant food was warm /fresh! As we were SO hungry we didn’t think to tip the gentleman who delivered our food after his shift but THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Partitions up and staff wearing masks. Had a "Bigger Better Burger", it was very good, tasty and perfect size. Definitely recommend if you like burgers.

Staff was great - although they are under dressed. They're all busy, young women, with skirts so short they barely cover their cheeks! Again - they were super friendly and efficient.
The food is over priced for what it is. Not the tastiest and nothing original.

Don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. Had a bad experience and sent in a email to their corporate site about two weeks ago and still haven’t received any sort of correspondence from them. Might not return to the brand period. Times are tough all around and lots of choices out there. If they don’t even have the time or the willingness to address guest concerns I can spend my money else where.

Update: Maybe I missed that email and I apologize. I will take down this review and submit and updated one. I apologize since it looks like I’m the one who made an error here. I do love Earls and will continue to support you. Again sorry for the mistake.

The service is really slow. I went with two other people, the place wasn't even busy yet, but ended up staying a really long time because it took so damn long to get anything you ordered.

Update: Earls invited us back on them and our meal was excellent as it typically is. I’ll consider our poor experience a one off.

Have had fairly consistent food at this Earls until this past order. We received 2 over cooked burgers, dynamite rolls with a super hard avocado, when I bit into it my teeth could barely get through. And two baby orders of French fries with our burgers, which would even be considered a joke if it was off a children’s menu. The amount of money you pay for food and with this quality and quantity, I will be thinking hard about coming back here. All around very disappointing!

Ordered take out a 6oz steak came with mash potatoes and steamed asparagus the steak was supposed to be medium rare but it was more like well done and Crispy and dry the asparagus was over cooked as well pretty much mush. I also ordered the calamari witch turned out to be maybe 10 small pieces of calamari and the rest was deep fried veggies The girlfriend ordered some simple chicken tenders but they seemed to be double fried outside with a close to raw inside. Luckily for us I did enjoy the mashed potatoes and the girlfriend did enjoy the yam fries but ended up paying 71$ for it So much for a nice stay at home dinner date night vary disappointed sadly.

I love the food here at earl's. However last trip was not the best.they don't have any jasmine rice for the ahi tuna bowl that i was looking forward to eat and the oven roasted salmon that my wife and mother-in-law ordered.the ahi tuna bowl is the only dish that i always order at earls.the service was kinda slow that night too, from taking the order and til the food to get preped/served.

This is an edit of a review I wrote 2 weeks ago. My first experience here involved an honest food preparation mistake that was not handled super well by management at the time. Since that experience, my review was followed up by the general manager with an offer to come back and give them a second chance to make things right. I can happily say that tonight, they made up for their mistake and then some!
My wife and I returned and were treated like gold. Our server Cathy (sorry if I spelt that wrong) was genuine, kind, attentive and gracious. She took care of us from the moment we walked in until the time we left. Each cocktail we ordered was made with care and attention and it showed in the taste and presentation. Our appetizers were delicious and my steak was cooked to perfection
We were also taken care of by one of the managers, Connor. Both Connor and Cathy made sure that everything was just right this evening and they went above and beyond to turn the ship around. I couldn't have asked for better service and I want Connor, Cathy, and the GM Hovig to know that all we received tonight was 100% appreciated! Thank you for stepping up to the plate and listening to your customers.
I will recommend this earls to anyone and everyone in the city after tonight's experience.

Waitstaff took over 30 mins to bring drinks then forgot to submit a food order so one party had no meal while everyone else did. I will never return.

Nicole was 10 stars worth! We had a complicated order: dairy sensitivity and gluten free for my husband and keto for me. She was super accommodating and her recommendation for the prawn lobster benny for our 3rd person was spot on! We complimented the coffee asking where to buy it, Nicole said it was Earls brand and she grabbed a small bag for us to take home. My heart bout exploded. Thank you Nicole. You're a superstar worth every possible praise!
