Earls Kitchen + Bar

I came here on 14th of january at 9: 45 pm, the restaurant was almost empty. I came with my girlfriend for our anniversary date to enjoy some time together but it turned out to be a horrible night after choosing this restaurant to eat, the service was really terrible there was one server who didn’t care enough to talk through us about the menu as it was our first time their and barely even checked on us and served a lame remade lemonade when i asked for no ice the glass was all dripping with lemonade and sugar stickiness on outside and when we didn’t like the service and decided not to tip her she decided to serve us some complimentary attitude as well and the pizza we ordered was way too greasy. The food was 1 star but the service was -5 star.

Earls used to be one of my go-to places. My last visit has changed that. $25 for a burger and fries just seems a little little much, considering it's nothing special. Fries were cold as well. To top it off, my glass of Corona was $13.25. Let that sink in. $13.25 for one beer. Will not be going back at those prices for average food.

It was my first time eating at this location and I was very impressed. The service was impeccable my server kiana was very patient and up beat, helping us out with drink and food suggestions that she thought would be great for us. I was very pleased with the food it came out hot and in a timely matter to say I was impressed is an understatement. 100% would come back to this establishment very impressed with the quality of service and food.

I went to this location 2 days ago with family at lunch time, there were 5 of us at our table. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. However, myself and another guest had steaks with vegetables and potatoes and when our plates came out the veggies were cold and the "garlic" mashed potatoes didn't taste like garlic and they had a nest of what I thought were onions on top but they tasted like potatoes. Also, two guests had the clam chowder which was also cold. So by this point, we had sent back the veggies and the soup to get it warmed up. Then after all that, we ordered two pumpkin pies for dessert which were stone cold and usually are served warm, along with a separate bowl of two scoops of vanilla ice cream which didnt come out with the pies. I had to ask our waitress for the ice cream and when it came out it was partially melted. We did get a discount for the cold food we had but the bill still turned out to be over $280. When you pay $57 for a steak and some veggies and potatoes, you expect the quality to be high and not to have cold food. I'm not sure where the disconnect is and if the food was just sitting too long or it wasn't cooked properly but cold food at a high end restaurant is unacceptable. You either need to increase the quality of your food or lower your prices to match your standards. I have seen some of the other reviews and it seems as though this may be a trend at this location which is unfortunate because Earl's used to be very good. I sincerely hope these problems get fixed as I don't think I will return to this location if they don't. I hope this review is used as a tool to improve as it is intended for only that and not to be rude or hurtful.

Had our anniversary dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. Our server Pardeep gave us the best experience we have had in a while. Give this man a raise!

Tonight is the very last time we will order takeout/pick up from this location. It never fails (over the last 3 years) that there has been an item missing from the order. $40 'rare' steak that we are having to re-cook. Have previously raised concerns with management but no improvement. Delivery drivers are not to blame; this is solely on the restaurant. Do not order from this location unless you want to be disappointed.

The food was great and the service was amazing! Kiahna was our server she was so kind and very personable, it felt like talking to an old friend. Will definitely be coming back to sit in her section!

A glass of pop is now $5.25, will not be returning after years of loving Earls. The Keg has better value for money and it’s not much more expensive.

We love coming to this location, it’s our favourite setup. Our server Hayley was so lovely and made us feel very welcome!

The food was excellent and the wait staff (Anna) was very personable and professional. We did ask the shift manager (Asia) why the local sports (hockey) was not being displayed and the answer was totally understandable. However, upon being questioned, the Team took it upon themselves to overcome the obstacle (new AV system) and fixed it for all to follow. Job very well done all!

The music was to loud, which made it hard to have a decent conversation with your table company and even tough to understand the waiting staff.

I ordered dinner online, menu is very informative and prices were reasonable. The system works great, fast and efficient, responses are immediate. Great food and excellent customer service. Thank you.

Food was very good and the sangria is my favourite… Trevor the manager was fantastic! He was super attentive and personable, definitely made our night!

I'm re-doing my score from a 4 start to a 3. The past 3 times I've been there haven't been super great. Cold food meh service. And recently I realized on wing night they have changed it up. So now you only get 6 wings. And pay basically the same price for wings. Big rip off super sad lived going every wensday

Im not the type to write reviews but EVERY time I have dined in at this location the hostesses and staff have been unorganized and unpleasant to deal with, or atleast the ones I’ve encountered. They tend to hire the teenage/early 20s crowd for front of house, servers, managers etc.and despite greeting them with a friendly demeanour and making polite and “normal” restaurant requests, I’m met with attitude and excessive wait times with zero acknowledgement. The managers I’ve dealt with are no exception with their poor customer service on full display. Again this is not an all encompassing review as I’m sure there are SOME employees there that are friendly and conscientious. Do better Earls Dalhousie.

We recently celebrated a family birthday at Earls Dalhousie. Excellent food and great service. However, we were seated close to the entrance and, on a chilly day in Calgary, the cold air repeatedly coming in from the door overshadowed a great meal. Given this experience, we are unlikely to dine at this location again.

We had a GREAT experience at this Earls tonight. Right from the incredibly friendly host who said he worked there for "two years and loved his job" to our great server, amazing food and topped off with the manager Cody who came and talked to our table, ensured everything went perfectly and took care of us due to a minor past mistake they made. Everyone made our night out perfect. Highly recommend!

I visited here for dinner with my family for the first time. We ordered food similar to the usual menu at Keg, so naturally we can't compare it to Keg

The quality, freshness, and decoration of the food were all good overall compared to Keg. It was just disappointing that the amount of food and the size of the plates were small.

The whole family was satisfied with the dinner, and I'm going to visit again next time to enjoy other menus.

My chicken Alfredo was terrible, the noodles were hard and dry from being left under the heat lamp forever because it took forever to get our meals. Service was non-existent. My two kids had 25 dollar burgers that looked over cooked. I can't see myself ever going back, very disappointed. The loud music was also terrible.

Our server name Adam was great and sweet guy with his beautiful smile.
We loved the food here and the atmosphere was amazing.
Busy place too.

The food was excellent we had some happy hour items pizza wraps etc. Server was attentive and polite. All and all very good experience.
