We have been coming here for quite a while, though the food was consistently good, the service today was subpar. We got our drinks and food, but, no quality check, when we wanted more drinks, I ended up having to go to the bar, and we had to ask twice for our bill. Overall the experience was ok
Hello! All four of us were satisfied with the meal we ordered (too bad the Tuna Bites were not available). The ladies enjoyed their steaks, and the men their noodle/rice dishes. I know, right? Breaking all the stereo types as we go along here. Sam, our waitress was friendly and engaging, despite our quirkiness. She seemed very capable and had help from the kitchen. But who was that guy who tried to give our shareable dessert to the table next door!?
I had the chicken lettuce wraps. They were light and tasty, I would get them again but would prob order something else too. I was surprised by the earl grey sonic cocktail, smooth and fresh like a summery iced tea lemonade. Perfection. Earls is reliable. I don't like waiting for a table when u can see that there are many tables empty. It's a little pretentious.
Allow me to start off by saying that this is the first review I've ever taken the time to have written, but I feel it necessary for the exceptional service I received this evening. I came in after a rough day for a quick drink with no intentions of anything more. Natasha, my server, was truly phenomenal and turned my night around. She was kind and attentive, and one of the few servers I've met who seems to genuinely care about her guests. Even on a busy Friday night she gave great service, and I never found myself without something I needed. I will absolutely be returning after my experience tonight. I hope Natasha is appreciated for the wonderful server (and human being) she is!
Man what a gong show. We get in here and we had to sit and wait to be seated when the resturant was maybe 1/3 occupied. We ordered our food then after 2 refills for a drink that should be bottomless refills we were told that we only get 3 refills then they charge for another drink. What a rip! My steak was well done and my partners ribs weren't that great and dry. We were hungry so we just ate it. Spent $129.69 tonight and it wasn't worth it at all. Do yourself a favor and go to moxies around town, at least you get your worth from it!
Been a while since last time we choose Earls. Quality of the food has really dropped a lot. The 24 dollar burger was worse than BK or Wendy’s. The beef patty was obviously frozen patty, just like the ones you can get at Costco.
The host Daniele (I hope I spelt that correctly) we came in Sunday evening and she was just amazing, I cannot say kinder words about her. She sat us in the lounge and made a great recommendation of the seafood platter which is one of my faves and was so personable and kind. Great way to start off the experience!
Food was good, staff was friendly and a very nice ambiance, the food was a bit pricy and the serving size was a bit small apart from that a good overall experience
Clam chowder soup was amazing but found a huge piece of shell in it. At first it looked like a fake nail. No apologies. The service was slow and our drinks were empty. It's a nice pleasing atmosphere and comfortable seating. Clean. On the expensive side but food was tastefull. Plenty of free parking.
Took my wife and my 12-year-old daughter there not like it used to be it has changed quite a bit, it's more of an adult dining than a family dining they don't have a good variety of kids food. But the food that I got and my wife was definitely fantastic high-end meal, and the bill showed. Lol
I don't really believe in reviews or ratings, but I think for the first time in my life I'd like to make an effort and say this place messed up big time. They're selling BIRYANI: (. I get it typical all black decor small city restaurant with TVs Earls/Moxies/Cactus/Keg. This has become like the walmart for ethnic foods. It's like buying Great Value Black white cookies vs Oreo. Just sell your steaks and bland food, why sell and poorly cooked Biryani.
When I was younger, I wanted calories. Now I'm at the point that I want a meal worth eating. Earls is one place that consistently delivers. On my last visit, I shared an order of blackened chicken, dynamite rolls and the yam fries. I had ordered the new smokey strawberry margarita - made with mezcal, natch. The flavour mix was amazing. Each distinct, yet they blended perfectly. The service is friendly but not ingratiating. Earls, please don't hire Bob Iger and screw up a winning experience.
