Earls Kitchen + Bar

Went for dinner with my husband and mother on Tuesday. My mother and I ordered the 9 ounce sirloin with peppercorn sauce. The steaks were ordered medium, but arrived well done and they tasted old. In hindsight we really should have sent them back. We did mention it to our server after we had already eaten half, so she discounted our steaks 10% and brought one dessert to the table for sharing afterwards. The veggies however were delicious and my husband’s meal (chicken breast with risotto and arugula) was also very good. Couldn’t help but feel that we overpaid since the steaks were quite expensive and really not good at all.

We were greeted by lovely ladies at the front, walked us in right away, sat us down and even offered to draw the blinds if the sun was in our eyes, all before sitting down.

We had the pleasure of our waitress Sophie today for lunch, she was very prompt, very professional and extremely nice. She did a fantastic job! Finding quality customer service these days is hard to come by. Sophie did a fantastic job! Food was delicious, drinks were great and overall a wonderful lunch date with my sister and mom.

This is by far the best Earls in Calgary! Atmosphere is inviting and comfy and we always return to this establishment.

Our server, Ashley, was very condescending when I asked for a mod. I’ve been a server for about 10 years and this is definitely in my top 10 worst experiences receiving service. When we asked for the bill, she prioritized all her other tables when we had to leave. We ended up having to ask the manager for the bill as our server was quite slow. From this experience, I would definitely come back but would never want Ashley as our server again. I didn’t want to tip her as much as I did, but the only reason I did is because my sister insisted.

Never been a big fan of their menu - ever. But, I managed to find a couple things I liked. But, they have taken those OFF the menu (Calamari, Truffle Fries and the Focaccia - that bread has been a staple since Earl's first came to Calgary back in the Parrot Theme days). I ended up having the tuna sushi tacos, basically 6 SMALL bites of food for almost $20. Tasted good, but.sorry. Wont be back anytime soon.

Absolutely appalling! We just got back from a long road trip and thought we’d spoil ourselves and order in from earls tonight. Boy was I wrong we both ordered lettuce wraps and after the first bite I just about gagged. The chicken was old and nasty. Boarder line rancid.
I wouldn’t feed chicken that looked like this to my dog let alone consume it. Extremely pissed this was in my mouth disgusting.

Over charged us for a appetiser we didn't order and sides that came with the dish. No fries left on the day and no crab tail. It's was super hot in the room and my drink was always empty because no one came around. Decent food.

A friend and I came here for some dinner and drinks and our server Angelina was absolutely phenomenal. She was attentive, engaged, friendly and overall made the night. It’s so nice having great servers that really make the experience.
The food was also really good. We ordered a 6oz sirloin and I’m not used to sirloin cuts being as tender as this one was. It was cooked perfectly.

Don't sit in the enclosed patio in the Winter. We had dinner there on Dec 9/23 and were sat in the enclosed outdoor patio. We were told it was warm and it is warm if you're directly under one of the heating vents. However, if you're near the widows, there's a 1/8" gap between each of them that the winter air pours in. We ate while wearing our winter jackets and left as quickly as they could bring the bill.

Argin and Shelby delivered a great customer experience. This is the greatest experience in the world next to following Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
They always ask questions and help us with our order. The entire world could learn how to deliver customer experience in this store.

Sohila and spencer were our servers for tonight, best service I’ve had in any Earls location. They will be the two severs i ask for every time i come to this location, as well as the two servers who I know will give me the experience im searching for each time I do go out to dinner.they shower amazing hospitality to us and made my experience so much fun!

Food was good but almost got shot. Was the scariest experience of my life. Will never be back. Why they let these wanna be gangsters in their restaurant baffles me. This place has turned into a hangout for them. Stay away.

Not at good as expected. Had a dinner for 6, including two children under 10, and were seated at a table for four and a table for two that could not be put together. The kids sat separately and our location was noisy so they were not able to participate in much of conversation. It was their only grandmother's birthday and no seating arrangement seemed to work for us. In addition there was no childrens menu so they had very limited options. The reservation was made reflecting two younger children and had they informed me there was no childrens menu I would have booked another restaurant.

The meals were good but nothing exceptional for the price.

The atmosphere here is so pleasing and the food was delicious. The service is really nice and welcoming from the staff.
The location is so convenient and has lively surroundings.

Ordered something that was supposed to have warm potato salad which is the best part and they sent me just mashed potatoes. If you are out of something the courtesy thing to do would be call the customer not just put in a substitution that you think is suitable. Won't order from here again.

Have been going here for years! Great atmosphere! Food is very yummy.but unfortunately have noticed their portion sizes decreasing at least on their happy hour brunch menu.

I haven't been to Earl's in a very long time and never to this location. What a beautiful spot! I was shocked by how much seating there was, especially on the lounge side. I ordered the Hunan Kung Pao as I remember ordering that all the time back in the late '90s when I used to go with my family to the MacLeod Trail location. It was extremely tasty, presented really well, and the portion was perfect. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks again guys! Thanks for making our evening lovely!

Came in for a business meeting, Alyssa was very friendly and they were able to accommodate my colleagues allergies. The chicken wraps were 10/10
