If you are not from Edmonton and just came for a visit stop here for a bite sure you will not like any other food for a month

My favorite Earls location in the Edmonton area! Service was phenomenal and the ONLY establishment that STILL gives bread with the chicken cesear!

I was with a group of people here for dinner. There was I don’t know how much gratuity add to the bill already and the waitress didn’t even bother to mention it. So I paid tip twice. I’m totally fine with gratuity because a group of people would be harder for a server to serve. But she didn’t even bother to ask how was the dinner. She just put the food on the table and never show up again the whole evening. Will never come back again.

I've enjoyed Earls in the past because they have a certain standard when it comes to their employees and the way they dress and the way they present themselves. My server was lovely, they had some kind of woke creep delivering my food to my table, honestly, I was afraid to eat it not knowing where this critter had been. Definately a genetic Male but severely mentally damaged. Earls should really go back to screening their people again, I don't care about what's politically correct. I won't be going back.

Was there last night with a couple friends, our server was so wonderful, food was good. However, there was an intoxicated man banging at the emergency exit door trying to come into the restaurant. So we kindly let a manager know and the manager we spoke to said to me “well don’t let him in then”, was not expecting such a distasteful response. Everyone else was absolutely lovely though.

Food was very salty. Ordered wine and server brought a different bottle on account of it being "an equivalent substitution", but I wanted that particular bottle, the substitute was not as good despite the higher price. Would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted to pick another wine on the menu instead.

Was greeted beautifully this evening on our girls night out.
Our server “assistant” Anna was amazing, and truly made our night so memorable. Our main server never introduced himself and was rather unknowledgeable… I over heard multiple tables (5) that were on the patio complaining to sweet Anna about how the service was.
Anna engaged with our two children and made them smile and giggle throughout our experience.
Food and atmosphere was incredible as always.

Went during happy hour for a happy hour menu. Margherita pizza was fine. Friends that got the $5 tacos on the happy hour menu got singular tacos that were not impressive.

Loud. Slow service. Nobody checked on our food to see if it was okay.

Waitress came by at the very end to make chit chat so she could get a big tip, but other than that it was the food that got it the higher ratingit was the food that got it the higher rating

We went for a friend's birthday and while the food and drinks were great, I do not recommend ordering any shots as they are extremely expensive. We ordered a shot for the birthday girl and the shot cost $11.50.the same as the cocktail is was supposed to mimic. I tried to ask why the shot cost the same price as the drink but management said this was normal.

Really disappointed I was unable to use my gift cards at this location, as they cited recent gift card fraud as an issue and were unable to get them working on the machine. Food was otherwise solid, but won't be coming back to this location if these issues persist.

Came here for thanksgiving dinner with the family. After being sat and having ordered our drinks we were informed they were out of the turkey dinner and pumpkin pie, so we decided on other food and ordered. The food was great, but the service was very bad. Not once were we asked if we wanted more drinks, had to constantly ask for more water, and our dishes were never cleared. We were going to order dessert at the end of the meal, and were informed that they were also out of the dessert we wanted but it would be taken care of if we waited 20 minutes for them to be made. We opted out as we just wanted to leave. I understand that there is lots of new staff in the restaurant industry and our server may have been new, but no other servers came by, the managment never came by, and no one checked in when we were clearly not happy with the experience. Just an unfortunate night over all.

I have been coming to this Earl's for the past 5 years. Seeing how the restaurant has grown with staff and a large variety of food options, there is no doubt that this is a go to place for any situation.

Food quality, temperature, taste and overall experience is always a 10/10 for me.

A birthday celebration perfectly enjoyed by some of our local family. The dirty Martini was popular the appetizers were large. I had the Sushi it was outstanding. Much fun!

Lots of empty tables and had to wait at the front for almost 30 min.the staff was pleasant but they seemed more interested in the bar patrons then the restaurant.not going out of my way to go back will go to the local instead

The steaks not cooked properly and sent back twice, one person had to wait a very long time where the other two people were already finished their meal, not good. However, the manager was very sympathetic provided free dessert and one meal for free, they will be looking at the grill issues.

Great food and service, and the waitress for our table (Joanna) was amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. Birthday well spent!

Just your typical earls. I find I have good experience at almost any earls chain. Nothing bad to write about. Friendly waitresses and great food. The drinks are always tasty and served just how you like them.

Service is very bad, arrived at 6: 30 PM at 9: 30 PM after ordering a simple steak frite I didn't get it because they informed me one hour after ordering that there's no more steak!

The food is what you expect from Earls and the location is not that bad but the staff is a hit or miss!

Gross. We couldn't even finish our food. Came cold. The lady at the front was very rude. All round horrible experience. But they took the food back and took it off our bill.

Wanted table away from other people (Covid), when large group arrived close to us, server happuly moved us to another quiet table

We came to Earl’s for our 49th anniversary.
The food and service was outstanding. We both ordered the filet steaks and they were both done to perfection. The Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert was amazing.
The friendly and personable staff and the excellent food made this a very memorable occasion. We will be back!

Just care of table guests.i saw one of skip the dishes taker man waiting outside for while.but nobody open the door for him. Give respect every one quietly.

This location made me and my friend wait 10 minutes before we could get a table (it was empty) waited 15 minutes for drinks and 15 minutes for food as I said it was practically empty. The hostess had an attitude and no goodbye. Overall not coming back.

Best Caesar you can get pretty much anywhere. The only place that had a similarly good Caesar was Catch in Calgary but it closed. Every Caesar I ever order gets compared to this. Also, sticky toffee pudding, clam chowder, poke bowl, and Caesar salad are unbeatable. Not bad for a chain restaurant.

I ordered the Steak and Sushi and my steak came ropy. When the server came to ask how everything was, I told her about my disappointment and I showed her the "nerve" on the meat, my knife was having a hard time to cut it. Then she asked me to try to enjoy that one and she was going to provide another one from the kitchen. It came very soft on the second time and for my surprise it wasn't charged on my tab. My sushi was good, not excellent, but it was enjoyable.
I am not giving the 5 stars just because I ate for free, but because of the service that was pretty good, the cleanness and the taste of the food in general was good.

A little slow at the beginning, but they made it up with Great food and giving us the best server thankyou Sheldon

This place employs more 15 year old's then any other restaurant on jasper and it shows. In my experience during the last 2 years at this restaurant, servers roll their eyes at you when you walk in 2 hours before close. The best thing about earls is their happy hour menu, yet at this location they act like they spit in your drink because you walked in when the server was suppose to get cut. Host's and hostess's are so clueless, it feels like I've accidentally walked into a daycare with the caretaker no where in sight. They do an awful job at listening to you or helping you be seated quickly, especially when there are open tables available. I could go on for hours about how terrible this location is but I don't care enough. Started eating at Cactus and Joeys instead and have had way better experiences. In fact any earls that isn't this location is better.

Most pleasant venue. Very friendly staff and impeccable service. Mid range pricing and for those of us on a budget is a good thing. Easy parking. The Margarita Pizza delicious, so were the salads and openings. A place to visit for a special occasion for sure LCA

Came here for lunch and was sat outside in the patio. The seats were covered with crumbs and other people’s leftovers. Not a good first impression. There were even straw wrappers spread across the seats. Who ever is bussing the table needs to consider taking a couple extra seconds to brush off the chairs and not just the tables.

This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a earls across the country. Flynn went out of his way to make sure that all of our needs were met with our food. I will be coming to this location only from now on due to the kindness Flynn showed us today

My family of 6 went to Earls Tin Palace for my sister's birthday dinner and had a great experience! We were served by Wen and she was so incredibly professional and patient with us, even when we were a bit indecisive, unorganized, or demanding. The other staff were really friendly and willing to jump in if we had a question, as well, which is so refreshing! The food and drinks were delicious and came out quickly. Great experience!

Never had a better meal in my life. 120z New York strip, with mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus.to die for, literally.along side with a crisp coke, this meal left all of life's worries behind.will eat again especially here.

I'm not sure if they wanted to be known. My past years and years of experience with Susan (General Manager) and Andrew (Manager) as a customer, has been PHENOMENAL! I have been to this location sparingly in the past because of the lack of leadership and management. The service and servers did the best they could in the past. Nice decor. Attentive service, but couldn't seem to deliver my partners drink. Had to involve three staff, wait, get the drink finally and then, before leaving, had the drink delivered again. Miscommunication at the bar was the explanation? Strange.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful, food was excellent. They made a modification for my 5 year old and he was very happy. We will return for sure.

Don't be deceived from the appearance on the outside, this place is very large on the inside, with a great assortment of dining styles available. An out door patio, a covered indoor/outdoor area and your usual indoor eating spaces, it has a place for everyone! The menu as always is diverse. The staff are very friendly and attentive to you needs. The services was fast and the food was delicious. Right on Jasper Ave.it is easy to find with lots of free parking. What more can you ask? I highly recommend Earl's on Jasper for your dining in Edmonton.

This Earl’s has been my stomping ground for over two years. I’ve eaten here multiple times a week with multiple guests and have tipped generously every time.

After Covid hit, and the restaurant re-opened, they changed their suppliers with some of the groceries. It is understandable when things change. The peppers in their Hunan dish amped up VERY high on the hot meter. Extremely painful to eat even from someone who ate this dish on the regular. Not just spicy. ACTUALLY painfully spicy. It completely ruins your dining experience.

This was brought to their attention at least three times, in person. Every time was ignored until I left a review on their website. After the review, I was called, by a manager where I explained that my experience has nothing to do with the service, but everything to do with the ignorance of what is being served. He told me there was a meeting and they did indeed inform the staff that the supplier has changed and the spice factor was WAY higher than it was and all guests would be informed.

He also told me my name was on file and my next meal was on the house.

Fast forward two weeks: I came in, as soon as they found out who I was, I was ignored for nearly an hour before I got to place my order. Finally complained to place my order, asked for Hunan with two peppers. Asked if they were still the hot peppers (server said they were - didn’t offer the info), dish came out with ZERO peppers, I had to re order. The meal and drink refills were like pulling teeth and the lounge was empty.

I know this review won’t stop this location from doing well, but I was a regular and absolutely loved the staff and location and the fact that they just don’t care made me super disappointed. I will not be back.

Great customer service! Bella was a great server and host she surprised me with a birthday card in our take out bag we went there to grab my birthday lunch. We got exactly what we ordered, I will definitely go back there.

THE WORST RESTAURANT WE'VE EVER BEEN TO
I ordered a cajun blackened sirloin but instead I got a cajun blackened chicken with a STRAND OF HAIR on top of it. And my friend had a sirloin steak with a PACK OF SILICA GEL ON THE TOP OF HER MASHED POTATO. Aside from the terrible food quality, the server kept on rolling her eyes every time we talk to her.

Loved the patio my girlfriend had the surf and turf she loved it i had the chicken & ribs great service drinks always filled very clean relaxing environment we will be back thanks again!

Nice place, good environment, but the service could be a bit better. Was left waiting to order about 20 mins after the hostess seated us. Otherwise it was a pleasant meal.

We were seated and then ignored. My partner and I sat, waiting for service for close to 30 minutes before we decided to leave. The people making food in the kitchen paid more attention to us than the wait staff.

Staff are generally friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food is consistent. You always know what to expect here. Brunch is a competitive price and filling.

Stopped by for the first time at this location, just in time for happy hour. The service was great and food came quickly. Their house beer was super cheap for happy hour. I also love that they now have 6 or 8 items on a vegan menu.

Was our first time here. We waited about 15 minutes before someone came to talk to us. However, manager Brianne came over and was very apologetic. Experience was very positive after this, food was quick and delicious and Brianne bought us round of drinks. Great recovery, everyone we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. I'll be back!

Recently this has become a better destination to go to, food wise. I used to not be a fan of the food served here. The new green menu they have is great. I have tried a couple dishes on it, both were great. I will definitely try the other veggie items on the menu as well. Happy hour prices are also excellent.

Great atmosphere food menu drink menu appeal to all The location is great especially in the summertime the parking is a little bit tight if it's a busy night. Over all it's worth checking out that location is great

I had the Crispy Tofu Zen Bowl which was honestly better than expected, the tofu was cooked perfectly! I found the sauce on the rice was kind of spicy as a warning for any other spice wimps out there.
Also had the white sangria which was nice, and had good flavour.
Only complaint is the service was kind of slow after the meal, other than that they were really nice and checked in on us, but after our meal we sat around for quite some time waiting to ask someone if we could pay.

We dont eat out too often as a couple since we have two young children so this was a birthday lunch treat formy Man. Good Service, fast tasty food at lunch. Had chicken wonton appetizer, taco salad and chicken sandwich with yam fries. Everything was TASTY. Drinks on special Mules yummm! Giving 4 star for two reasons 1) my husband ordered a soda cran then switched it to diet coke but we were charged for two pops (really? Come on! Esp since they're 3.90 each) We're not poor but it's principal I think.this is why the dining industry is making a switch to delivery service. 2) Pretty confident I got food poisoning from my chix salad since anything else thereafter that day I ate was also eaten by my spouse and he was fine - the only thing he didn't eat that i ate was my chicken salad. - really hard taking care of two young kids that sick though.he had to take.time off work to help me: (but I guess sometimes these things are inevitable. ‍️

If you need a delicious and inexpensive brunch spot this is it, food is great and the brunch menu has happy hour which makes the food even more afforable

Good atmosphere. Busy for happy hour on a Friday night, so the server didn't get to is as often as would have been ideal, but that's quite alright! Beer was cold, cold glasses (always nice), and a fairly respectful crowd of people. Love the private bathrooms

We just had my sister’s bday dinner there. Our table and seats were sticky. Food came out pretty quickly but was pretty cold. Drinks took forever to come out, and they charged us for a drink that we didn’t even order or receive. We were there from 6: 45 until 9: 15.solely because we hardly saw our waitress. I mean I’m a patient person and I get it’s Grey Cup weekend so things are busy, but it should not take 30min to get your drinks, and we definitely should not have had to wait for an hour to get our bill.

Great food and excellent service. Our reservation had been taken earlier in the day but when we arrived they could not find it, but still quickly seated us.

Ordered takeout: two brown butter kale salads. Got home and realized the kale wasn’t cooked and there was no dressing on the salad. I’ve had this salad before so I know how it’s supposed to be. Disappointed.

Randomly stubbled into this location while on a trip to Edmonton and I was in awe with the decor and the building design. Everything was so pretty, and reminded me of a posh restaurant in Vancouver. The servers were so pretty and fit, not like that matters, but it just added to my awe of the place. Professional and quick also. The bartenders use Just a little too much ice when ordering drinks. I had the Hunan Kung veg noodle bowl as always and my friend ordered steak. Im sad Earls took away the other vegetable stirfry, because I usually get those veggies on the side of my meal. Totally forgot what its called. Anyways, im looking forward to being here in the summer when its patio season!

I Frequent all of the Earl's locations in edmonton as it's me and my girlfriends overall favorite "go to" spot. However the service in this particular location is not up to the usual Earl's standard. We usually sit in the lounge and the last two times we've visited it's taken 15 min for us to be greeted once we've sat down. Once your order does arrive it takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes just to get condiments ketchup/refills needed to truly enjoy your meal. The food is good no complaints there but the overall dining experience is poor at best compared to the other locations.

We had a group of 14 come in for brunch today and the service was very poor. After promptly taking our drink orders, the drinks did not come for about 45 minutes. No refills on coffee or water, but they did bring us a basket of 4 donuts when we asked for some for the whole table. Our food orders were taken and more donuts were delivered after another 20 min. The food came out after an hour and a half. Some dishes were cold and one woman asked for her plate to be warmed up and still came back cold.
We asked to speak to a manager and waited for another 20 minutes. She mentioned their egg cooker broke down. We asked if there was anything she could do compensate us and she was going to take care of a round of drinks (which were mostly coffees) but ended up showing us a bill that took care of the drinks and comp'd us 10%.

Overall the food was cold and poor, service was almost non-existent so the 2 stars are because they ended up taking care of the bill and letting us go. So sad because I love Earls.

So happy this Earl's rolled out a plant-based menu! Although it would be nice to see some really good comfort food on there, I do think the freshness of everything is awesome! The service at this location was lacking the evening I went, I understood it was late but shouldn't have had to sit for 10 minutes before even getting a menu or a hello, welcome. Our appys took to long for what they were, pan bread and av toast but the food itself was great! I'm still giving a 4 because I'm thrilled about the vegan menu and have always loved Earl's tin palace!

We always come here and everytime we go the service is bad. Don't get me wrong the food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, it takes them sucha long time to take our order, then it takes even way longer time to get our food. I ordered a second drink and my waitress didn't bring it till 5 min before we left. We typically wait for our food for a minimum of 45 min everytime we go. Our waitress does not checkup on us and when they do and you ask for something your food will get cold waiting for it. We always skip dessert cause of the crazy long waiting times. I understand it's busy but it's always busy here and they can just have more people on the floor working. The only reason I did not give 1 star is because when the food eventually comes it's usually good and the happy hour prices are great. I keep coming back hoping that they were just having a bad day and that's why the service was horrible but it keeps happening everytime I go. This happened 5 times already.

Terribly unprofessional waitress who made it feel like we were not welcome at this location. Never had any such problems at the Clareview location, we always felt welcome and always chose Earls as our go-to place to hangout and have a good time. Unfortunately, our waitress was condescending and lacked the skills to remember any of our requests, such as providing us with a glass of water. I believe if you can’t even serve a glass of water properly there is seriously an issue with the whole service provided. Finally, after 20 minutes of waiting for said water (the waitress never once came by to check up on us), our waitress managed to swiftly come by and nonchalantly place the glasses of water as if we weren’t waiting for almost half an hour. However, the unprofessional actions do not stop there. After dropping off the water, she hastily left our table without asking if we wanted to order anything. My apologizes, but we have been waiting for forty minutes at this point just for water and yet you still did not ask for our orders. At this point, the whole table was quite irritated, but we were making up excuses for the waitress such as “oh maybe she’s having a bad day, we can’t be too angry. ” Sadly, the excuses we made for the waitress were quickly forgotten when we had to wait yet ANOTHER twenty minutes just for her to come by and take our orders. My two friends ordered Sangria Wine, and we ordered four dishes. The important dish that finally peaked our astonishment at the lack of professionalism was when we received our Yam Fries. The Yam Fries were cold and burnt, and when we politely asked our waitress if it was possible to take it back to the kitchen to reheat it, she replied “Really? Give it a try, try it first and let me know, I’ll come back. ” We were absolutely shocked. She never came back to check up on the issue, and we were left at the table staring at the cold burnt fries, untouched, yet still having to pay for it. By the time we finished all the food (aside from the Yam Fries), the two Sangria Wines were still missing, and it has been half an hour since we ordered. We saw her helping the table next to us so we patiently waited for her to finish serving them before asking her to come to our table, she walked straight past us so we had to politely call out to her. When she finally came over, my friend asked “excuse me, where is our Sangria wine? ” She acted surprised and started to bring out her notepad to write the order of the two Sangria wines. Unbelievable. I asked for the bill at that point and told her “if the wines are not on their way, then that’s fine it’s not a problem, can we just have the bill please? ” To which she replied “oh.uhhhm are you sure? Are you guys in a rush? ” Perhaps we were in a rush at that point because we have been in a restaurant for an hour and a half being treated like an unwanted customer. Not once throughout the night have we gotten an apology, just condescending answers that implied we were not welcome. I understand if our waitress was having a very bad day, or was having issues that distracted her from providing the service she may usually give, but the service ultimately killed the whole mood of the table when we were just out to have fun. The vibe we got was that the waitress took a short glance at us and decided that she did not like ‘our’ type of people. The date and time are on the receipt as is the waitress’ name.

Love the atmosphere and the food is consistently good. One of my favorite Earls to visit in the city and both Maia and Sam have routinely provided service above and beyond our expectations. Their enthusiasm and energy is infectious and are a huge reason why we return to this establishment.

Absolutely love the Earls on Jasper avenue. Great setting friendly staff and great food. Good place to take your family out for mothers day or fathers day. Good menu (for drinks as well).

There are many special things about Earls Tin Palace and one of them was our beautiful waitress Tanya! We were greeted with an uplifting smile and personality from the get go. This did not change throughout our entire time in the restaurant! The place was packed on a Friday evening, her section appeared to be full, and her customers were obviously thoroughly pleased (this doesn’t surprise me)! She was always on top of everything and made our experience the best.to top it off she surprised my daughter with a toffee cake before we left for doing well on her exams! Can’t wait to see you again Tanya, and thank you to the back of house staff for providing a tasty meal! It’s very comforting and nice to see staff who work from their hearts and not because they have to, what a wonderful face you have to represent ETP.

Katelyn was amazing. She hung out with us and basically made an awkward experience absolutely fun. The food was great too and the happy hour made it awesome.

On a busy road, but no worries about noise.inside is very comfortable and drink, food and service is second to none. If you are on Jasper Ave please pop by
