Don't bother ordering take-out.

The noodles weren't even cooked - and I mean hard - and the dish was not even close to the quality you get in the restaurant. Delivery time was minimal so there's no excuse.

There is a reason people request cutlery.don't make it an option on the menu if you're not going to send it.

Salad was tiny for a small salad but at least was tasty and edible compared to the pasta.

Save your money - even Boston Pizza is better than this.

Definitely won't be ordering again.

Went here for our 10th wedding anniversary. From our server (Jackie) to thr desert was over all great dinner. The ribs just fell off the bone being so tender and juicy! Thank to the management for giving us our dessert for our 10 year anniversary!

Came here the other day for a nice lunch. Atmosphere and food was good as always, the Ahi Tuna Bowl always a hit. Our waitress Madeline was the sweetest. Always made sure we had everything we needed, checked up on us regularly, and so easy to connect with. Truly a very kind hearted person, she made our night at Earls so much better. Service was very quick and atmosphere was great as usual. Will be coming back again soon.

Every time I come here it’s fantastic service! I have celiac disease and they’ve always been very careful, or at least I’ve never gotten sick!

The meals are amazing. The ambience is always on point. The portions are just right. And the service is a 10/10. Visited 3 times in one week, both the one on the 8 Ave SW and the one on 4 St SW. Worth every penny. This one is on 4th St SW

Womens washroom door has a rail system protectikn on the door that made the door swing open and hit my daughters head. BEWARE!

Very kind and friendly staff. We have made a habit of dining here over the last few years as its close to home. Restaurant is always busy, always clean and we feel right at home. If I had to give one critique it would be that some of the prices on my favourite items have gone up recently. That said you can come in for Happy Hour and get the best deals!

Earls is always great food, and great service! Cajun Blackened Chicken with Warm Potato Salad, my very favourite meal there.

The food is always really good. The ambiance is 5/5…. I do find some of the servers get caught up talking up some of the customer for to long…but I guess they’re being nice…. Usually it’s always great

It's a good restaurant with good food, but with my party of 10 they messed up some orders and then when they messed up the cooking of the Ribeye they just put it back on the grill and the truffle butter was gone! Then they tried to charge us for it but we worked it out. Other than that it has good food. Just try to keep your party below 10 people!

I haven't been to Earls in ages but was pleasantly surprised with the food here the other night. Drinks were good too. In general I usually avoid eating at chain restaurants since the price is generally the same. This location doesn't do late night happy hour which is unfortunate. I found the service pretty slow for the restaurant being mostly empty but I had an enjoyable meal regardless

Pros: atmosphere, location, happy hour menu
Cons: long wait time despite not being busy, staff does not acknowledge your presence.
Would not be back as there are many better restaurants / other Earls locations.

Went there last night around 7 ish
And The whole restaurant is so empty
Like literally not busy
But they asked us to wait there for 15 mins

We were quite impressed with the service and personal care given to our table. We were having a rough day and needed to take a break. Everything was absolutely perfect, the staff were friendly, restaurant looked clean and we had a great time.

Food is decent, but other tables that arrived after us got food before us. Our food took an hour to prepare.

Dined in the lounge with my friend last Thursday and we chose ETP specifically to help celebrate his late August birthday. Food was quite good overall and service was decent (although the server didn’t seem like she actually enjoyed serving us - maybe having an off day?). But what shook me a bit is the prices there now? !? I used to work at Earls not too, too, long ago and I don’t ever remember them charging $19.50 for a Cajun chicken sandwich and THEN adding $2.50 on top of that for house salad or fries? And one menu said a slice of pumpkin pie was $9.00 (which is still a bit ridiculous) and we got
charged $10.50 for that same piece of pie? And a pint of Stella is now $12.50? It’s literally getting to the point where unless you can go at Happy Hour (which most busy parents, like my friend and myself, and busy families cannot do during the week) you get charged an arm and a leg. Just disappointed to be paying so much extra now - even for a basic meal.

Great experience! Staff is super friendly. Highly recommend this location. We would come back for Christina, kiara, Sophie and the restaurant manager Kennedy. Truly superb. My husband and I were blown away with the service. Can’t wait to go back already! Thank you for making our outing at Earls so special:)

Our server encouraged some new menu items we would normally not order and we were pleasantly surprised. Will definitely order next time and recommend to friends.

I was really unhappy with the food. It was cold and it took so long. Also, there was a mouse in the patio. I won't recommend this place for anyone. Definitely, I will never come back. However, I appreciated that the servers came to say sorry.

Edit: So I have come here a few times over the last few years and have realized this place is a hit or miss. Brunch service is great. Dinner service is always a miss. I was here in July, a friend and I walked in, and were put on a list for a table. We were told the wait time of 30 minutes. We said no problem and proceeded to wait outside the restaurant on the bench. We were in clear view of the numerous hostesses. During the 30 minutes we saw multiple guests seated, but we brushed it off thinking they all had reservations. After the 30 minute wait we saw the hostess come outside, talk to another hostess while looking at us, and then went back inside. This happened several times. I walked in after over one hour of waiting and asked why I hadn’t received a call yet. I was told they tried to reach me but that my phone number was incorrect. I then told them that they had seen myself and my friend waiting right outside, and asked why didn’t they come to get us. No one said anything. We were then told they had a table ready for us. I then quickly realized that all of the guests seated before us were non POC. There are some other reviews that are similar when it comes to race so this may be an issue during dinner service.

Once we were seated on the patio we asked for the heater to be turned on and we were told that none of the heaters were working. Why even have them out then? ! I was done at the point.

Won’t be coming back here.

Basically went there with my toddler and my baby. The man at the front ask us if we want Diner or outside, J said Diner she said because we don t have reservation the have to wait 25 minutes " which i get even tough the restaurant was empty. Than my partner said outside the lady said i think the music will be to loud for the kids and i don t know about the stroller. I felt judge for having kids. Basically i can t eat there because i have kids if i can give a 0 start i would have

Staff was great…. Ordered a double hamburger (not on menu) it was all crumbled. Service was great…why did I choose earls? Haven’t been in 20 years…. Still a place that’s poor on food…good on atmosphere. Would I go back? NO THERE are many in this same category…. Milestones makes a ether burger…. Staff was good though.

Taylor is such a good server wow! She got all our orders right, super speedy and sooo sweet. We will deffs be coming back here & requesting her, thanks taylor for making our dinner amazing! & miles you are also amazing, hopefully you get that senior server position soon!

Very tasty vegan options and the staff was wonderful. This restaurant was the first place we hit after our long flight from Ontario. We had heard great things and we were not disappointed.

Husband was served chicken that was not fully cooked. The meal was Hunan Kung Pao. We noticed immediately that the food was different from when we typically order it (less sauce, cold, vegetables not well cooked). The chicken was unedible and clearly undercooked/raw. My husband only ate one bite and discovered the uncooked chicken. The manager offered to refire a new meal, but we declined. The manager removed the meal from the bill. Regardless, my husband is now sick with food poisoning. We loved this location but will not be returning after this incident.

Fantastic patio experience for evening drinks. Great drink selection and delicious food. Must commend our server Natalija on providing very attentive and professional service to our table. Would highly recommend!

My fiancé and I ate here and the food and service was great. We ordered Cajun shrimp, calamari and a steak and it was all perfect. Definitely will be coming back

Have been coming here since high school. The tofu dish was good. Patio is nice. Seats could be cleaned better before seating guests. My low review is due to the forced sanitizer at the front door. They should allow customers to use whatever chemicals they prefer on their skin, or allow hand-washing.bodily autonomy is slowly slipping away from us, due to businesses like this one.

I’ve come to this location 3 times and On all 3 occasions my drink orders were incorrectly made (Moscow mule or a mojito) each time having the drink sent back and then only to taste similar or worse than the previous. The drinks both tasted like soda pop and there was no ginger taste at all in the Moscow mule which is the whole point of that drink. The mojito also tasted like soda pop. On one occasion the server was attentive to have the drink remade without question but still a poor experience when you cant enjoy a drink beside your partner at dinner. Finally just had the drink taken back and asked for a water.

I’ve been to many Earls around the city as they have good food and the atmosphere is nice but this location just continues to disappoint. I’m not a hard customer to satisfy I like my food warm and drinks made correctly.especially when I’m paying for it.

Ill never come to this restaurant again! Mid way through our meal that we are paying for and following covid guidelines we have police and staff harassing us and Discriminating. We were asked to leave for absolute nothing. We were regulars enjoying our business meeting and we spend thousands of dollars here and still they have the abasity to tell us to leave and pay for our meals and drinks we didn't finish. All because they wanted our ID's in the middle of us eating our meals. SHAME ON Earls next time ask for our I'D before we order 10s of ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES NOT AFTER, TOTALLY ILLEGAL. Ill never support a restaurant that discriminates. 0 stars for this restaurant and never again! We try to support local and we get discriminated against!

This is very unfortunate because I used to really enjoy coming to this location. Tonight, from the time we walked in the host quoted us a 25 minute wait which is completely fine until we came back and then she quoted us another 15. In total; we waited for an hour without even any manager coming up to offer us water as the bare minimum.
Finally, we got to the table and Celestin was our server, and she was great, but it doesn’t take away the fact that our experience was absolutely horrible. I normally never make bad reviews as I am also in the industry but this one blows every bad experience out of the water. The manager working (at-least I think he was) didn’t seem very helpful as our server had several tables to tend to, and while she was running around he was on his phone most of the time, and aimlessly walking around looking as if he was avoiding any sort of small tasks that had to be completed. I’d at-least think that we would be compensated for something in our time at this earls after he awkwardly watched us sit in the entrance waiting but he never came up to us, nor said a word as we passed him on the way to our table. Although it was a hockey night and a busy Saturday It’s not an excuse to for poor communication and ignoring proper restaurant standards. Earls used to be so good, and I don’t think the servers, or any new staff should suffer because of poor management.
After such a bad experience I don’t think I will ever be coming back to this location.

Very disappointing last visit. Service was slow didnt offer us drinks had to chase down then one was forgotten.food was cold, two orders were wrong and it was just an overall bad experience.this used to be the best place now not sure if we will ever return which is to bad.

Asked me and my family to wait in separate areas instead of welcoming us into the restaurant we were ask to half stand in different areas, me and my family of 3 were very disrespect. Will not be back.

Due to the COVID restrictions I wasn’t able to dine into Earls, so I decided to order takeout from them. The wait was super quick for my food and it was delicious! Decently priced too. I got the Cajun Chicken and it was so good. Would definitely recommend ordering takeout (and picking up in person, not through Skip the dishes)

Always good food and always excellent service. You can't really go wrong with Earls on 4th, whether it is the food you are eating or the people you are meeting.

Great place for creative cocktails, girl's night out, yummy happy hour delights, and desserts. The dry ribs, regular, baby back ribs, and poke bowl were delicious! The ahi poke bowl was unusually tasty. I had low expectations since having great ones in Hawaii but they really made it happen!

Service was good, and all food was good except for the steak, which was clearly frozen and had a neutral flavour to it.

But aside from the poor steak, the food was on-point.

Good atmosphere, good price range, very official.

I frequent this chain at least once a month and this location is by far superior. Not only is the atmosphere on point, but the kitchen never fails to overcook or undercook my medium rare sirloin steak - a difficult task as I can be very picky. Their clam chowder is one of my favourite sides.

The only issues are that parking can be tricky during peak times and wait times can be long. During dinner service, wait times can be 20 minutes or more. Try and come at 9 pm or later to skip the lines and take advantage of their happy hour menu ($3.50 highballs!) Al fresco dining is also available in the warmer months.

Came in for Happy Hour with some friends. Our bartender, Maddy, absolutely made our stay. Couldn't be happier with the service, food and drinks. Can't wait to come back!

Not like I remember it when the female servers used to only cater to the heavy-drinking male guests.we were bipassed on many occasions.times have changed and so has the Earl's attitude: good for them and us. We will be back! And soon!

Because its earls, this one is very good for that bracket of restaurants but by no means is it a game changer

Lots of things wrong here, both with service and with management. I’ll start by saying the last time we did go the lady manager (who I recognized as a server who had previously been fired for getting drunk on shift) stopped by our table just twice in the last hour we were there, and we had to chase her down just to get the bill. (Though she had lots of time to talk with the bartender.)

But where the problem is is within their incompetent management. They have managers dating eachother (prohibited) and have trouble treating employees fairly. Tips being short, high employee turnover, workers coming in just to get cut after an hour, and a grossly unorganized schedule are some other reasons I wouldnt reccomend working here.

Great location and good service at the bar. But why no happy hour on weekends after 9? Chose earls Stephen Ave over ETP because of this.

Service was great. Food was great. But it was REALLY noisy. We ended up going somewhere else to sip more wine cause we could not hear each other.

BEST EARLS IN THE CITY - Both sides of the restaurant are fun and comfortable to dine in. The staff is always friendly and the food quality is consistently great.

First thing to notice.the atmosphere and decor is amazing. There is one side that is all bar, another side leads to a patio and then a third side that is dining area. As a chain restaurant, this one does a great job with food and service. The happy hour menu here is highly recommended. The regular menu also has a good list of different foods to eat. Very reasonable pricing/portions and delicious food thay tastes just right. A perfect spot even for those with kids. The service is friendly and quick.

Earls is a staple. It's easy to go there and find a place to sit and they have a great happy hour. Unfortunately I find the servers typically struggle to listen and get the orders right, they're willing to switch it out, but it's still quite inconvenient. Sometimes it's also the kitchen, and they admit that too, but it's not always enjoyable to sit and watch you friends eat and then wait for yours.

The former Tin Palace in my 20s still packed on a Friday night. A fun place to be and excellent service. Apparently customers revolted when they removed their Hunan Kung Pao w/ chicken a few years back. Glad it's at Earls to stay. (I recommend it w/ 4 peppers btw). I contemplated removing a star upon noticing that the heavenly braised beef short-rib is off the menu. However, I couldn't do it given I'll attempt to make their buffalo cauliflower tonight.

The staff were cute. However, the chicken in my rice bowl and my date's salad were traumatizinly dry. Like, I literally could not eat them. Fix it.

I really like the look of this location. I've had good experiences here most of the time and I expect I'll be back at some point.

Earls has made some changes that I just am not a fan of, though. Their menu options for vegetarians are really lacking. They got rid of their veggie burger which was actually enjoyable (though a little too salty) and they no longer have noodle dishes for vegetarians (only rice?). They also rarely have any happy hour deals that don't have meat. It seems like they wanted to be more accommodating with the new vegetarian section of the menu but to me it had the opposite effect.

Great happy hour, good attentive service and close to home. Food has been consistent and typical of Earls, never had any issues. Parking can be challenging as street parking can get full depending on the time of day. However, there is a parking lot in the back of the restaurant too.

Rude staff. Went in on a Saturday night and asked if it was still happy hour. Waitress said yes and proceeded to talk about the menu with us and even took our drink orders. I asked for the $3.5 beer, and confirmed with her not once but 3 times if that was the price for the beer and she said yes. She came back with the drinks and then asked if we were ready for food. My friend started ordering food from the happy hour menu and she immediately interrupted her and said it wasn’t happy hour on Saturday nights. We asked her why she even offered us the menu and told us that it was happy hour and her only response was “do you even want your drinks? ” We left angrily because of how misleading she was! Never going there again. Unprofessional and rude at this location.
