I have had great experience at East Village Dental! Their technology is amazing! Their front end staff are so helpful, and Anna thank you for taking the time to align both our appts together, so we needed to only take one car for our appts. Free parking really helps being downtown! All the staff, are proficient, caring and very knowledgeable, their hygenists are professional, thanks Beth, your very good with explanation of my old fillings, and very efficient with chairside work. (as we spoke of, I was an oral surgeon assist, chairside years ago).
Yesterday, I saw Dr Yari, I have always felt the sting of needles for freezing, and to my surprise it was painless. And the freezing did not make my lips, mouth feel swollen, and painful after as usual from past experiences. During procedure of replacing my 3 old fillings, I found it relaxing almost nodding off. Greatest dental experience Ive ever had. I really like their patient care and professionalism! They also offer free teeth whitening kits to use at home, which is a bonus. I would highly recommend East Village Dental. Thank you to all your dentists and staff, and Happy New Year!

This is a great dental office. They were very patient with me for my IV Sedation appointment even though I was terrified. I am not a big fan of the dentist but they worked with me and got the work done that no other office was able to do. The location is great, it includes free parking and they seem to genuinely care about helping people. I would highly recommend East Village Dental and have!

Staff was professional knowledgeable and very friendly. I went for a consultation and left feeling comfortable with all that was discussed. No pressure and 3 options on how to proceed.

My wife and I are new to Calgary. We needed to look for a dentist. After attending East Village Dentist for a check up we knew we found the right dentist office for us. The front desk staff are courteous and friendly. The dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth was amazing.even at 62 I still white knuckle it when I go to the dentist but I’m happy to say that she- Lindsay made me feel relaxed. My wife indicated that the dental equipment used was futuristic.and painless. One of my back teeth cracked which led to a very sensitive situation.any cold water created a lot of pain. The dentist recommended the old silver filling be removed and replaced. I’m happy to say that the whole procedure took less then 30 minutes and was painless.
As much as I hate going to the dentist, East Village will be my dentist.hopefully for many years

Since my first time walking into East Village Dental for a consultation I felt welcome and judgement free. The service provided is second to none I've ever recieved at a dental office. I really appreciate the patience the doctors have towards fearful and anxious patients. I had large work done today and was in no pain, IV sedation did what it should do, although I was quite nervous about the entire procedure I'm happy I went with sedation.

10/10 for Dr. Dhaliwal, assistant Alner, IV tech and all other office staff contribute to make the whole office great.

Every experience that my husband and I have had at East Village Dental has been excellent. We started going to the clinic because I followed my hygienist, Adrian, from a previous clinic. Adrian is simply the best - if you are looking for an amazing hygienist who is friendly, professional, does an excellent job, and makes you feel comfortable, you must book with him! The front desk staff is also the kindest, most helpful group of people. I have had limited interactions with the dentists at this clinic, but they have all been really great as well. We've recommended East Village Dental to many friends and family and look forward to our visits (who can say that about the dentist!?).

My experience here was absolutely amazing. The level of professionalism was extraordinary.

The staff was very nice and the office was very clean. I enjoyed watching Netflix with a set of headphones while laying down on the chair.

The hygienist made sure I was comfortable the entire time, I have anxiety with dental work but I felt extremely comfortable here.

This is a bit of a drive for me, but this will be my life time dental office!

This is a very modern and advanced operation, but the non-stop upselling of unnecessary tools and procedures really put me off.

I went to EV Dental for a standard cleaning. My teeth function and look well, and I have no problems with them whatsoever. First I was sold on a sonic toothbrush, despite the fact my teeth were perfectly maintained and I haven’t had a cavity, or any other issues, for 2 decades. Then I was upsold on an Invisalign consultation, despite the fact I have no worries about the look or functioning of my teeth, and they cause me no problems. Then it was lightly suggested my wisdom teeth could come out, which I’ve had for 40 years with absolutely no problems or concerns.

All of these recommendations came with no official diagnosis of any medical issues with my teeth, meaning they’re nothing short of industry-centric profiteering and enrichment.

Great people. Thorough work. Displays to watch shows/movies and also to show you imagery of your teeth. This place is tops and would highly recommend.

You don’t need good reviews. Your dental office has been perfect in every respect in my personal experience.

East Village dental has surpassed my expectations on cleanliness and absolutely all of the staff are very professional! The whole family used them with the Invisalign and we cannot be happier! It’s a bit of a drive from me but it’s well worth it hands down!

Dentists are good, hygienists are good, but be warned, they'll push for extras. Things like 4 bite wing x-rays per visit when insurance only covers two. Service is good but always paying an extra 80 bucks is kinda exhausting.

Very thorough and painless. Both dentist and hygienist took the time to explain everything. Didn’t feel rushed. Keep up the good work. God bless!

Went in for a consultation. I was very impressed by the way in which thy took the time to explain everything to me. I left feeling I now what to expect and when. I am very ok with the visit.

I have never been a fan of the dentist and put it off for far too long as I needed some major work done on a cracked tooth and a problem wisdom tooth. After a few cleanings and undergoing the sedation dentistry at EV Dental, I have completely changed my attitude on going to the dentist. The sedation was painless and I can hardly recall much of the procedure and with 2 teeth being pulled plus a root canal, I call that a success. The cleanings are great and you can watch Netlfix on the ceiling during the process, which passes the time. The office is clean and the staff are friendly. I would highly recommend this office for as your regular dentist and any major dental surgery needed. They do always offer to pay for parking, I am able to walk but it is good to know that this is offered.

Every time I visit I am a happy client. Wait times are quick, staff are friendly and dentists are knowledgeable and perform very good work. I was booked in same day for a rush appointment and they took great care of me. Highly recommend this office.

Love the service here! The girls at the front are always so nice and I actually like going to the dentist now because of them!

As first time patients, my husband and I were not pleased and will not return to this practice. We booked appointments for cleaning and routine check-up, and indicated that we did not have great concerns about our dental health. Prior to the appointment they send you forms to be filled an returned, and within these forms they address whether or not you have insurance coverage - In our case we did not have coverage. Once we arrived for the appointment, they confirmed the fact that we would take care of all the charges, however at no point did they ask what additional services / procedures we wanted, nor did they present a quote or price list for the services they recommend. Without our consent they went ahead and took several X-rays and 3D images, and also added services to the routine cleaning such as fluoride and polish without checking whether we wanted to add them for an additional charge. At the end we were presented with a whooping bill of $1,400 for cleaning and check up.

The hygienists are trained to do sales throughout the whole cleaning time. They offer night guards, teeth alignment, electric tooth brushes etc. It is a sales pitch that lasts the duration of the appointment. All while putting you through steps which are meant to ramp up the bill.

After addressing out concerns, we were informed that this are the regular steps of their practice and that we should have asked for prices. I regret trusting them as they demonstrated not to have a good business practice and only focus on getting the maximum amount of money out of each patient.

Always so nice and pleasant in this office! The front staff is amazing and so are the dentists and hygienists. Highly recommend for kids or adults

Started taking my kids here recently and was happy they could see us on short notice when one of the kids chipped their tooth. Everything was on time and they were good with the kids. Would recommend.

I really like going to East Village Dentist, I tired other dentist because I moved to the South and came back to them because the other one just messed up 2 of my teeth. At East Village Dentist everyone is super friendly, they are knowledgeable and know what they are doing. I take my 3 year old here too and she loves it. They were so patient the first time she went when she was 2 as well, she loves to pick a gift from the gift box as well when she's done. Really good place if you want things done the right way.

This dental clinic is the best dental clinic I've been to in Calgary. I've been to 3 other dental clinics and non compare to East Village Dental. The hygienist is great and gives you tips on how to clean and prevent cavities. Both dentist that my son and I saw were amazing. I had to get a filling and a crown and both treatments were painless when I left the office usually your mouth is sore and swollen after fillings and I forgot that I got a filling earlier that day because there was no pain afterwards. The Dentist and their assistants are true professionals.

I loved that I could watch Netflix while getting my teeth cleaned and even when I was getting the filling it was a good distraction. They have the TV mounted on the ceiling as well on the smaller monitor so you could watch while you are sitting or laying down.

The front staff were amazing and so friendly and explain the billing process.

They offer to pay for your street parking which is a bonus and the location is great and easy to get to coming into downtown from memorial.

East Village Dental provides excellent services. They offer free teeth whitening once a year and send you away with at at-home teeth whitening kit. The Dental Hygienists are very gentle. They do a great job at regular cleanings and always ensure you have an appointment booked ahead of time. Can't say enough good things about this dental office! Highly recommend to anyone in the downtown Calgary area.

I was in for a dental implant consultation. The front staffs were all very professional and helpful. They do offer free parking for their clients! Dr Greg promptly and thoroughly explained to me the implant procedures and what my options are. Alner the assistant was also able to answer all of my other questions and concerns. I was also impressed by the flexible payment plan and options offered. Overall, I find my first visit as a very pleasant experience and reassuring in every way.

I LOVE this dental office. Honestly, I used to absolutely dread getting any dental work done… but since I’ve found this place I’ve had nothing but good experiences. First off, this is the only place I’ll ever go to get my teeth cleaned. My hygienist is amazing and I’ve never had such thorough cleaning done with so much finesse. The dentists, dental assistance, and receptionists are also all extremely professional and friendly. I always feel welcome and at ease here because I know I can trust these people to take care of me and do a good job.

Even when I move out of downtown, I’m planning to still make the trip to EV for all my dental needs. I’ve literally spent my entire life trying to find a good dental office and THIS IS IT.
