I go to this place as convenient location and most of the time is a good place and the old ladies are really nice and efficient. This one star rating goes for the young girl who lack customer service and after making mistakes doesnt even apologise after charging extra and is very rude in explanation. Thankfully i realised later and got
She should learn a thing or 2 from the older ladies.

My boyfriend accidentally left a TV I had in the truck for my daughter at ECCO in the electronic recycling pile.
When I learned he left the TV at ECCO, I went back there to retrieve it.
I was just leaving ECCO when an employee approached my vehicle, who very rudely accused me of stealing the t.v, demanding I put it back into the recycling pile.
Even though it was my TV, I have bad anxiety and his overall demeanor and demands made me feel so uncomfortable I ended up leaving it behind.
I feel like every time I go there, if he is there he is creeping on me, staring at me, and now hes confronting me, accusing me of stealing my own things.
He's accusing me of taking things, when the previous time I was here he was actually looking through the recycling himself, putting things to the side of the bin.
The TV I was pressured into leaving there was a nice TV, maybe he wanted it himself or maybe he is just a bad creep. Or both.
At any rate if you're a woman, beware of ECCOs employee BARRY because he's a super disrespectful rude creep
Other than that it's a good place to recycle electronics, cardboard, plastic etc. If Barry wasn't there, I would rate better than 1 star forsure.

I had some issues with a junk remover company and I was helped by a person on-site. I forgot to get her name but she was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me try and locate my stuff. The staff were so friendly there as well. The area was clean and maintained!

Don’t waste your money here. This is a privately owned dump, and they have a $55 minimum charge which is over double the city of Calgary rate of $25. I dropped off a couple hundred pounds of particleboard, and the bill was 56.19 after-tax. Ridiculous.

Never had a problem here. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. My favourite dump in Calgary.

This place is a industrial recycling operation; such as building renovations; electric recycling (tv's. Stereosmicrowaves, fridges) and the like, also cardboard, wood, steel. A fine professional operation to recycle! Come on down.
