Was buying a Daytona Triumph from a guy and had them inspect it first. They must not have bothered cause it had all of its levels low, faulty wiring, and was missing the horn (a necessary part for a bike test I found out). I called them back to ask if they even checked the bike, they said they would call back. Never heard a word back.

Had a pretty good, straight forward experience with Dave and his group, you can tell he has a passion for motorcycles and is willing to discuss whatever questions you have!

Echo Cycle took the headache and worry about selling my bike on sites like kijiji.
No worry of strangers showing up at home asking to test ride and possibly dropping the bike, no worry of scammers and lowball offers, no worry transfering ownership or payment issues.i simply brought the bike to Echo Cycle. They were very professional and helpful. We agreed on a fair selling price and they did all the work selling it.

Their commission was very fair and they sold the bike for likely more than I would have gotten after hagglers and grief.

All I did was pick up a nice cheque when it sold:)

Get job Echo Cycle.this is a much needed service in the Edmonton region for safely selling a motorcycle. Leave it to the professionals.:)

Visited the new Echo Cycle today. My past review indicated I had challenges with their Winterburn Rd location. Whilst the concept and the building itself were great, accessing the location was less than desirable which I believe contributed to them downsizing. I am pleased to see them return to their roots. They are located near where they started in the 90's. I confess to having a soft spot for Echo having bought several bikes, utilized their service department and recommended to friends. I've never been disappointed. Echo is now run by one of the old co-owners-David. They are not an authorized bike dealer for major brands at this time (it may change, who knows). Their current business model: consignment bikes in good condition (their service dept does inspect them and provide a detailed mechanical inspection report to purchasers), bike parts, and Ego power products (electric lawnmowers etc). Tip: if you are looking at buying a bike privately, call them to do an inspection to alleviate any concerns with private purchases. As I said before, nice to see them return to their roots. I highly recommend you check them out.

It is and will always be the best motorcycle dealership plus service I've ever dealt with in over thirty years of riding. You get to deal with owners, not just service personnel and they all have an added interest in making sure you leave as happy as you walked in. To even happier when you leave.
They have changed a fair bit but are still being run by the owner. Dave has had to change the way Echo Cycle works but you still get all the support you need when you go in. They are doing service and parts still and you can order whatever you need he will be able to get.
The store itself has gear too for men and women.
Dave is doing consignments and is doing well and bringing in some amazing bikes. Each bike must go through Echos rigorous testing and if anything is wrong it will be fixed before it hits the floor. They are the only motorcycle consignment shop in Edmonton that I know off and have looked at that offers to finance for personal bikes. Bring your bike in to have it sold or go pick one out. With some of the prices it gives you a chance to hop on a 600cc Supersport and if you don't enjoy it after a few months bring it back to have it sold while you go out on your One Liter Super Sport Bike. Dave does not mess around with the truth. He will tell you all the facts about the bike if the parts are expensive and hard to get or if this other bike would be better based on price power and how she rides. I have learned to listen to him after thirty years of dealing with Echo and riding many different bikes from Sport to Cruisers, then back to SuperSport. AS I am now riding a Kawasaki Ninja ZX10rr, and loving it because these bikes are tanks. I have had Dave put a Power Commander and change my sprockets and other things that I don't want all to know now as it has changed and is faster. Lol
Give it a go and see what you think. He will help you and he will earn your future endeavors with ridding and many other power sports.

Every time I call or go in, I get a tutorial in great detail about everything I can also go through and look at. Not just what I think my issue is on my sled but I'm also helped with other possibilities! Highly recommend anyone (especially an Arctic Cat) to check them out.

Consignment:
I put my bike on kijiji and Facebook market place. Not knocking those platforms but.man I was sick and tired of low ballers, no shows and calls at 1100 at night asking me questions. Too many headachs! The Consignment process at Echo was simple and straightforward. Dave is a very straight shooter and is more than willing to work with you. I was initially concerned with the concept of consignment but a 5 min conversation was all it took to gain my confidence. They do an inspection on the bike and take care of the advertising. As an extra, I've seen the shop and talked to the mechanics and won't hesitate bringing my bike in to be worked on. This place is a Gem! Thanks Dave and the team for your time and efforts.

Ran into some trouble while on an Iron Butt Ride with the GF's Africa Twin. They had the parts and banged it out quickly. Would highly recommend supporting if you're local!

Had great deal on my Harley rear tire installed. Those guys were friendly and awesome to work with service was fast my to go place from that one. They have a dyno as well!

I am usually a pretty easy going person but the finance company Lifestyles that this company goes through is a scam. If I can get financing at a 16.9 % interest rate for a loan over $25,000, a $6,400 bike should have been a walk in the park. Instead I am told I need to put a $3500 down payment down, which is over half of what the bike is even priced for before I can get financing. This company really should look into other fiancing representatives. I will not be going through this company or their financing company ever again.

Great place. They helped me buy a motorcycle in 2008, and then helped me sell it in 2018. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Went in for an oil change today. They were fast and reasonably priced for my Kawasaki Vulcan S Cafe. I would absolutely go back.

Dave is a fair and friendly individual. Great place to leave your bike if looking to sell. The whole process was easy and took the stress off of me.

When I relocated to Edmonton I placed my bike on consignment only to order my dream bike from Echo. In matters of days the bike sold and I received the Bucket List bike.
Years later, relocation yet again and I dropped my bike off only to be told that it sold in less than a week.

If you deal with Rick "wheels", you cant go wrong. The shop is huge buts its the guy that makes the place and the only reason I'd visit for new toys.

Dave and Hector were great walking me through the process of selling my motorcycle on consignment. Not only did they sell if fast they got me more money than anticipated. I highly recommend using their service.

- Started off well, sales guy was knowledgeable and friendly, but everything went downhill FAST!
- Had bike for less than 500 kms, found out that an oil seal was faulty and had to be replaced. Made my bike sit in service waiting for a $30 seal for 3 weeks because they didn’t want to expedite shipping as it was too costly.just handed them almost $20K.summers are short here
- Bike at 2 months old, factory tire is tearing apart due to known manufacturing issue. They tell me to replace the tires as i was out of town when it happened and they would warranty reimburse me for them. After countless non returned calls and almost 3 months I get a email reply to my voicemail saying they will not do anything for me and I would not be reimbursed. They said take it up with the OEM. I told them you're my point of contact, you are the dealer, you should deal with OEM not me.
Never heard from them again.

Be warned, customer service here is atrocious.once the sale is complete and they have your money, you are second rate!

Part counter guy made me feel like I was not good enough to be in the store. Wanted to order a part as I'm a newer street rider and need a Kawasaki place to order from locally, guess it's not Echo. I've been managing retail for 7 years and if my employees act and speak to my customers like that, they get written up or fired. The only reason it's 2 stars is because the girl in the apparel section answered my questions and was very pleasant to deal with. My belief is that if you know bikes and exactly what you need it's probably fine, if you're a rookie that's done some research online and try to get some education here locally as well, it may turn out poorly for you.

Willing to change this rating. Bought my bike from echo 2 years ago. Called to investigate warranty transfer. IVR has no music, so after 5 minutes on hold with dead air, thought I was disconnected. Called back, got parts, on hold for 10 minutes, gave up, called again, got parts again and was they were too busy to take my call so I left a msg. That was 2 days ago. Called again today, left another msg. Worst customer service to date.

Bumped back up to 4 stars, glad to hear things were fixed. It was a terrible experience that would now be much better.

I recently purchased a 2019 Speed Triple RS from Echo Cycle. Prior to the purchase I owned a 2013 Speed Triple and was looking for replacement. The Aprillia Tuono and the Speed Triple RS were on my short list. I had numerous discussions with Aaron Berg and he gave me a very honest run down of the pros and cons of each bike. The deciding factor for me was the back to back test rides Aaron was able to arrange. After the test rides it became very clear which bike to buy, with out that experience I would very likely have made my decision based on spec sheet alone.which would have been wrong.

Once I decided to pull the trigger Aaron quickly handled everything for me, he went above and beyond for sure. The staff at Echo was instrumental in getting my bike ready in just a few short days. I made the decision to buy the bike Monday, rode it home Thursday.

This was my third purchase from Echo, it is very likely that my next purchase will be there as well.

What a joke! I have an 07 Aprilia RXV and i was looking for a general service and asked if they could do a once over on it. These guys straight up refused to even look at my bike, they said these models were "problematic". You're a f***ing Aprilia dealer (and the only one in Edmonton i might add) you are supposed to know how to fix a bike before you sell one, and if you lack the knowledge to fix it then dont be a god damn dealer! I will strongly advise that no one use these guys, i wont be taking any of my bikes to them.

The staff at Echo go above and beyond to help you select the right bike, accessories and apparel. Joe and Rick answered my crazy amount of questions that I had while figuring which bike I wanted. They walked me through multiple bikes, options and configurations that suited me best. Valentina and Andia in apparel hooked me up with the best choices in equipment and clothing for my riding style. Jolene was extremely efficient and straight forward for the financing process which is greatly appreciated. JJ walked me through every inch of the bike ensuring perfection and personally delivered to my house. Overall an incredible buying experience from Echo Cycle for the bike I have wanted for years. I STRONGLY recommend Echo Cycle and their highly trained staff for any motorcycle needs!

Just bought the mv agusta f3 800. Awesome experience with this dealership. Joe in sales was really helpful and worked out a deal that made me happy. Everything was handled pretty well and fast considering I was trading in two bikes. It was my first time at the new location and I love the layout of the place. The yard guy was really careful when he loaded the two bikes in from my place to the dealer. He knew what he was doing and was really friendly so props to that. All in all, really good staff and great location. Definitely recommend anyone to go check them out and give them your business. I'll be back for sure!

Rick who was my salesman was great! He got me the deal I wanted. He also sent the information I requested very quick. Seems like a nice guy. (bought my bike over the phone)

JJ was very easy going he went over the whole bike with me. He also informed me on the service intervals and explained how to break in my bike.

Vanessa in finance administration took care of the paperwork. She was very quick and made the boring part of buying a bike painless.

Valentina in the riding gear section was fantastic she will set you up. She is very knowledgeable and easy to get along with.

I’m looking forward to getting the bike broke in to see how well there service team is.

I am a first time rider, I purchased a Vulcan S and my riding gear from this team and all I can say is that it was an amazing experience. It started with a call to the sales manager, Dave, who had me sit with Joe who made me feel very comfortable talking about this purchase, I was free to browse and did not feel pressured but got exactly the help I needed. I chose my bike and went upstairs where the ladies were quick to assist me and get me what I needed to ride with protection but still look amazing. I dealt with Vanessa in financing who was a dream and then got my walk through with JJ who was extremely thorough and had answers to all my questions. If I could go through that all again, I would in a heart beat. I have a really nice bike to ride now, so I cant sit here and type much more but I will end with the fact that I travel and purchase and deal with people day to day, my experience here is worth the share and the services at Echo Cycle are HIGHLY recommended by yours truly. I had a dream…Now living the Dream

My experience with Echo Cycle was nothing short of amazing.

Sales Team
Whens I first Entered the store in March 0f 2017 I meet with Aaron who told me all about the Triumph 1200 and I was hooked, his passion was nothing short of amazing! Unfortunately at that time it was not in the cards.
Fast forward to 2018. I returned to Echo cycle this time talking to Rick, he patiently listened to my story long-winded as it was and pointed me into the right direction giving me all the options so I could make the final choice for myself when I was ready to pull the trigger…. Well their patients and understanding of my thought process would have driven any normal person insane however everyday I returned and closed the place down (Yes everyday) they continued meet me with patients and understanding. No easy feat I assure you. Never did I feel rushed and was always meet with a smile.

Finance
Once I had decided to make the commitment and take full advantage of the 0% financing that was being offered at the time of my purchase it was Vanesa’s turn to hear my story and do what was needed to make all the paperwork as seamless as possible and even despite some hiccups along the way her stamina to get the job done and in a timely fashion was nothing short of a miracle.

Clothing
I could write a complete chapter on this subject, My worry of Trying to find the right clothing for every occasion that keeps you dry in the rain, warm in the winter and protected in the event of something terrible going wrong for me was nothing short of a miracle…and a miracle happened I shall call her Valentina, What an amazing young lady who knew what she was talking about. Her incredible knowledge on the products in the store combined with ability to tell me the does and don’ts and what was needed was spot on!

Delivery time
JJ you are the man! They way he delivered the bike to me was professional and informative, this what may seem a small step was one of the most import aspects I felt when I was taking possession of my new baby. I will call her Jenny 3 (Like in Forest Gump the love of his life)

Also, to mention…
I had the opportunity with the time I had spent there to meet many others if not all of the Echo Cycle team who are equally as engaging however I would like to make a special Thank you to Dave (Sales Manager) and Jolene (Controller/Marketing). The conversations I have had with the both of you where incredible.

Parts and Service…
In the process of ordering some extra goodies now and once my first service is complete and I have received my parts I will then be able to comment further but so far everyone I have meet follows the same passion I come to expect.

Just talking with the folks here, I know apart from the brand I have made the right choice with this dealership and look forward to a long lasting relationship with you all!

Just order your parts and apparel online and save yourself the hassle. I ordered a Speed and Strength shirt that was supposed to be 3-4 days took 2 weeks and was ordered the wrong color. There were no un-prompted call backs and I’m sure if it wasn’t for me constantly calling in to check the status of my order I probably would still be waiting. I am really dissatisfied with the overall experience and would recommend just ordering from online. I would have rather supported local but this has been such a negative experience I will gladly take my money elsewhere.

We have been dealing with the parts counter at Echo for a couple weeks getting parts for a Teryx and they have been nothing but helpful. They have had everything we need, and offer excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend.

Dave made purchasing our son's first dirt bike a fantastic experience for him. He not only took the time to answer all our questions, but he spent a lot of time with our 11 year old, making sure he is 100% comfortable with the bike itself along with all aspects of maintaining it. All staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend to anyone as the go to ATV dealership!
