Me and my mother always pass by this store whenever we were at the core. Their gowns on display always looked so elegant and shiny! We really couldn’t take our eyes off of the store and so we finally went in just to browse. We didn’t expect that we would be coming out of that store with 2 gowns in our hands. The service we got was a 10/10! Souad is such a sweetheart! She was the one who helped us through everything from reaching the zippers when fitting the gown to suggesting accessories so that me and my mom’s look would be more stunning. Every gown in the store have such unique and luxurious finishes that I wanted to buy all of them! Not only did we find fabulous fits, we also formed a friendship with Souad (an employee at the store)

This is the best store ever to shop for evening gowns. Souad was an amazing helper and she dedicated her time to make sure she helped us find the dresses we loved. I came with my daughter and other family members and we left extremely happy. If anyone needs a beautiful gown, go to Echo Evenings & Bridal and ask for Souad!

What a place! Amazing service 10/10 staff assistance helped me find the exact dress we was looking for couldn’t have asked for a better store to visit for such a special occasion. Went here to look at some grad dresses for my graduation. I booked an appointment and they barely talked to me the whole time. They gave me all dresses that were way too small to try on. They didn’t care to take my measurements at all. No one was helping me with zipping the dresses up. Basically a diy dress store where you do everything yourself. I would not waste your time and I would go to Oksanas in Crossiron they were lovely there!

Called ahead to see if there were two particular styles in-store. Was told by a guy that they were and in which colours/sizes they had in-store (style 27486 size 8 and 10 grey, style 27473 silver/blush 12 and 14, and m527 14 silver). I asked if we could come the next morning to try them on and if we needed an appointment. He said no appointment needed and we can come whenever to try. We ended up deciding to squeeze in running to the store immediately after getting off the phone. When we got there, the two women working said they didn’t have them but we were welcome to try on other styles…. Ummm no that’s why we called ahead as per the website instructions to see if they had specific gowns available. Glad we wasted money paying to park and our time to go there.

Edit to respond: no we were not told they weren’t in-store, I was given very specific sizes and colours but told if we needed a different size they could be ordered in. - this is a lie to save face. We were told specifically what size and colour you had. This is why I asked when we could come in and try them on. Why would we ask when we could try on if you didn’t have in-store? As a bridal store owner I know the correct procedures to ask to know about in-stock. And with regard to parking, glad to hear you have free parking after 3pm and on weekends- I specifically told you on the phono we were planning on shopping Tuesday morning so your point is void as you knew we weren’t shopping during the free time. In the end we got there at 1: 50 pm the same day we called, after 3pm wasn’t a option as that’s the time to pick kids up from school- it is disappointing yet again to see this as your comeback rather then simply admit you made a mistake rather then putting blame on clients. Not only have you lost our business, I will no longer be referring business your way. It is very shameful to see your lying response

I went today with my mom and sisters and right away they were very welcoming with Amazing customer service. Best dress shop. Found the perfect dress. I would 100% go again and recommend people to go.

Got my grad dress here and couldn't be happier! I was really overwhelmed and nervous about the experience of going dress shopping but when we went the lady that helped us was super helpful and friendly. She gave me and my mom time to walk around the store to look by ourselves first and was there to take any dresses I had picked to the change room for when I was ready to try them on. She also showed me some dresses that she wanted to suggest to me and I was able to share my thoughts on them without feeling any pressure to try them on. Walked out with the perfect dress. Lovely experience, I would reccomend anyone going dress shopping to come here.

On a whim while visiting from the East Coast we stopped into Echo Evenings. Even with no appointment we felt welcomed from the start. Truth be told I didn’t have any intentions of buying a dress for my daughter that day. But my mind was quickly changed after our wonderful experience! The staff were truly accommodating and knowledgeable. So many lovely dresses to choose from. Echo Evenings made choosing a prom dress so easy and fun!

Had an appointment for grad dress shopping - they were so finicky with 5 dress limit and had very few dresses in the color we wanted.fuschia - almost seemed like they were going out of business not many dresses and had to order and wait. We did not walk out with a dress and they were no where to be found when we were done with trying on dresses

This shop is amazing! 10/10 recommend to anyone, they had loads of options and I called ahead to see if they had a particular dress and they held it for me till the next day! I didn’t end up going with that one but a whole different one but still, they were a great help to finding my perfect dress and perfect measurements! I left the store 100% happy and I’m recommending all of my friends go here for their dress shopping

This place is awesome. The staff went above and beyond and looked for answers to my questions. I was looking for a particular colour and hoping to match Mr with Mrs colour. Even though they don’t sell for Mr the lady (Diba) phoned around to see what options I had and where I could match the colour of Mrs with Mr. Just absolutely above and beyond. For this company to help me out knowing my services will not attain for them and all they cared about was helping me period. I am at loss for words very rare highly recommended. Customer service like this you just can’t find anywhere. Excellence.

I was so impressed by the number of dresses they had in stock at the store. Lots of grad, prom, evening, etc dresses. No doubt one of the best stores for excellent quality and actual inventory in Calgary. I was looking for a particular designer and style of dress as I want to actually try a dress on and not have to order online. Unfortunately they did not have it in stock. The gal who helped me was very pleasant and worked hard at showing me all kinds of long gowns. Service was impeccable at this store.

Incredible store with incredible dresses! They have a huge selection, I never saw so many beautiful dresses for sale in one place, every girl is sure to find her perfect dress. Coming with an idea of the style dress I wanted, and having certain dresses picked out online from their boutique made the process so much easier. Workers are extremely friendly and helpful. I visited Echo Evenings & Bridal on Wednesday July, 21st 2021. I read all the amazing reviews and thought yes I will spend my only day off and go to this lovely store to select my graduation dress. I Arrived in the afternoon and I was the only customer in the store. I then received no help or attention I waited about 15 minutes. I left. I walked around the mall for 20 minutes and made my way back. I walked around looking for my size and still I got no help, let alone I wasn’t even being acknowledged at all. There was free employees that definitely noticed me but acted like they had better things to do. My plan was to spend a minimum of $600 on my graduation dress but I guess that doesn’t matter at all and for nobody to even simply greet or acknowledge my presence was unbelievably unacceptable. I just hope this store improves before turning future customers away. As a supervisor of a store who works in a environment involving a lot of customer service, I expected way better then this.

Unethical business and terrible unprofessional customer service. I was shopping for a dress for a family wedding, and I found a dress that I liked and I was told by the person working there that it was "designed" by the owner of the store and gave me the impression it's one of a kind. They even had their own name on the tag. Very convincing! I made the purchase based on that I'll be wearing a dress without having to worry that someone else will be also be wearing it. A week after purchasing it, I found the same exact dress (design, colour, etc.it was a replica) at another store, with a different designer name on the tag (not store name), AND it was for $200 cheaper (not on sale, that's the regular price)! Echo deceived me and when I complained and wanted a refund (the dress was unworn, tag was still on it, not altered, it was the same condition it was sold to me) they said their store policy doesn't allow it. I talked to the store owner and she kept repeating herself that the factory sells the design to multiple stores and they're allowed to put their own tag on it. But that's not the point. I would understand that but in this case I was specifically told that the owner designed it which means they specifically tailored that dress for their own store, has nothing to do with a factory selling their design to various stores, let alone the factory selling the "owner's design" to other stores and designers. THEN the owner who couldn't address my concerns and had no answers to them, abruptly says that she has a meeting to go to and hangs up on me! Extremely rude and unprofessional! This is not how a business deals with their client issues. I know many formal wear stores don't allow for a refund and I understand the reasoning behind it, but in this case, since the store lied to me and sold me a dress based on wrong information, they should've stepped up and made an exception and refunded the dress that was still in the same condition. I will ensure everyone I know hears about this story and the unethical behaviour from this store owner.
UPDATE: Since I can't respond to the owner's comment, I will do so here. We went to the store to understand why we were lied to and find a solution. No one harassed anyone. The employee and owner were both unwilling to help. Not sure what offer they are mentioning below. Also, after the owner hung up on us, the employee was trying to call her back and also texted her, but the owner didn't respond back to her. The owner left her own employee on her own and didn't help her out (which may has caused the employee to feel that way as she had no backup from her manager and left on her own to deal with the situation). It's interesting how the owner is trying to divert the issue as she still did not address the fact that they lied about the design of the dress. Why were we told the dress was designed by the owner when in fact it's a factory design that's sold to multiple stores? It's a shame this store owner doesn't know how to deal with customers nor does she have her employees back. Poor decisions of this store owner led to the escalation of this issue when she could've simply handled it much better!

We bought our daughter's grad dress at Echo and had an amazing shopping experience. They had the best selection of dresses in Calgary and amazing customer service. They accommodated us for last minute appointments and their seamstress was amazing at completing the alterations to make everything perfect. Loved the customer service, As we walked in we were greeted and Felt very comfortable in talking to the staff. The girls there were very helpful in getting the right size and helping us get variety of dresses for a wedding. The girls took their time to help each customer especially when helping me since I am a little picky I was able to find the best dress. The price Was really good overall I had an excellent experience At the store and will always be going there to shop for any dresses.

The store was very clean and organized and the appointment went very well as well. They did not waste my time and help me try many different kinds of dresses to help me get the perfect one it felt really good having such a good customer service where are you feel comfortable to tell them about your likes. I loved shopping here wonderful experience!

Used to be a really great place to go. But both the last times I have visited (within the past 3 weeks), the employee was not helpful at all and was super disinterested. The 2nd time she didnt even greet us and only said 1 word to us right before we left. The first time she took 2 personal phone calls and ordered pizza while on shift. Not good customer service.
Edit: For the first time we were there we had an appointment booked and the employee still was disinterested and took personal calls. The second time there was no oje else in the store, and she still failed to greet us or offer any help.

Nice dresses, ran into a glitch with the order, manufacturer issue. Good communication throughout. Worked out in the end for the most part.

I was at the TD square location & all the girls were WONDERFUL! Susu helped us out so so sooo much and I found my engagement dress in under AN HOUR! I ended buying two beautiful dresses. Once I told her one of them was for my engagement, she went to the back of the store and gave me the cutest pink teddy bear as a gift! The sweetest soul!

Just wow! Fast fulfillment and shipping even during this pandemic. They had the exact dress, color, and size my daughter had tried on in another store just before everything shut down, but for about $125 less and free shipping! I wasn't going to buy a prom dress as it was officially canceled, but all of her friends are doing a virtual get together and she wanted pictures and the memory, and I didn't want her to feel left out. So happy that I found Echoevenings online!

This is my first time buying a grad dress for one of 3 girls. We called at noon on our way up to Calgary from Med hat and explained that we were short notice but really wanted to take a look. We hadn’t heard back from the stores in another city. They fit us in at 3 pm. We tried on a handful of dresses but only needed the second one. And the lady was so helpful and amazing. She stood by waiting for my daughter,
Helping her in and out of the dressing room.

I have visited multiple places in search of the perfect graduation dress and this store was by far the most well stocked place for dresses ive been to! The prices range from low to high and the workers are so kind and helpful as soon as you enter the door!

Woman who owns the place is rude and follows you around (like, how am I going to shove a ball gown into my small and already full to the max purse?) Lol.the dresses are not well cared for, often falling off hangers & smelling of body odour Dresses with glitter decal that snag & tear any soft material are hung side by side to any old dress, regardless if the material is fragile, so that the dresses get pulled, snagged and have a worn look about them. Clearly they do not care about how their store looks or their merchandise.very sad because they have some of the most beautiful and unique gowns at more than reasonable prices!

My daughter and I came from Red Deer to find her a grad dress. We had been to many stores in Calgary Red Deer and Edmonton and by far we had the best experience here. The store was beautiful and the staff was very helpful and kind especially Souad who helped my daughter find her dream dress. It was definitely worth the drive!

Terrible customer service. You walk in to the store and you feel like you're being ignored. Employees avoid looking at you and no one says anything to you even if the store is completely empty. I've been in there twice now and had the same experience. Did not feel welcome or like i was being taken seriously at all.

Went looking for a grad dress, daughter didn't know what she really wanted. The store was well stocked and the lady helping us was very patient and kind to our daughter. We spent over and hour and a half there and tried on countess dresses but we did find the dress! Store was clean and had comfy chairs to sit in while we waited.

We’ve been to almost all the dress stores in Edmonton as well as a few in Calgary and this was by far our best experience. Izzy helped up a ton with finding the perfect dress. We tried on many dresses of different shapes and sizes and she was very good at picking dresses that flattered my body type. She also gave honest opinions which we much appreciated. It felt that she wasn’t trying to sell me a dress, but rather helping me find the perfect one for me. They have a huge selection of dresses and no limit to trying them on. All the employees were very accommodating.

Ordered daughter’s grad dress from Echo Bridal. They measured my daughter and allegedly ordered according to her measurements. However, the dress that arrived was easily 2 sizes too big. The clerk that helped my daughter try the dress on suggested that she must have lost a lot of weight since she ordered the dress! I assured the clerk that my daughter was the same size on pick up day as she was when we ordered the dress. The clerk at Echo Bridal that originally measured my daughter and ordered the dress, ordered the wrong size. With daughter’s grad looming, I had no faith that Echo would get an alteration right, so I chose to take the dress to our own seamstress for alterations. Our seamstress was apologetic about the extra expense (we had to pay over $350 for alterations - half of the price of the dress), but given the style of dress - tight bodice and full skirt and crinoline, the seamstress had to pull the entire dress apart in order to cut it down 2 sizes. I expected to pay to have the dress hemmed, however I did not anticipate having to pay to have the dress rebuilt. I gave Echo an opportunity to accept responsibility for the incorrect order they placed by requesting that they pay for half the cost of the alterations. Echo declined to share in the cost of these alterations. Very disappointed in our experience with Echo Bridal.

Pretty dresses but expensive. I ordered my dress payed for it and all, then one week later a very disrespectful lady called me saying that they didn't have the dress anymore and if I wanned another one I had to make sure that they had it.not going there ever again

Im mean they are really nice there. But i didnt find anything that i liked. Prices are over 100 to over a thousand So.normal.

They have no accessories and told me to go to some million dollar? Crystal store? For veils and accessories. Yea.they didnt have accessories but over priced rocks.i think this store is dumb for suggesting that and dumb for not haveing veils.

I never wrote a review before but I had such an amazing experience with echo evening I felt like I needed to let people know what a great place this is. I know how hard it is to find the perfect dress, they have such a huge selection and they can also order. I’m from Montreal and ordered my dress from here and I will definitely be ordering again. I wish I knew about this place sooner.

Very personalized shopping experience and although there were hundreds of people in the store at once the wait for a fitting room wasn't very long at all! I told them my budget and they stayed exactly at it, would recommend this boutique for dress shopping. All negatives reviews must be because the people had own anger issues.

This is one of the most incredible stores in Canada, me and my wife bought her dream dress from Echo Evenings and we were thinking to go to Istanbul (we are originally from there), because the Turkey is well none for evening dresses, but what we fund here you can not compare even with Istanbul, one of the most beautiful stores with biggest selection and the most beautiful styles.
