Spectacular bakery! Beautiful French style items. Coffee and sandwiches too. Tried some croissant, bought a cake, went back later for a beautiful treat.

If you enjoy premium well made French pastry and desserts … look no further. This is my go to shop in the north for chocolate eclairs. It is not too sweet just right

One of the best bakeries in Calgary. We ordered our kids' birthday cakes from them, very delicious and nicely decorated. One of the things I like l, is that you can taste a piece of the cake you order before ordering. They have smaller pieces that you can buy to make sure you love the flavor.

What a ridiculous location. The must get very few customers.they should set up shop on centre street or even Edmonton Trail.

This is a good bakery with various selections to choose from French pastries, they also have big kitchen in the back with see-through doors plus lot of frozen products on the side for take home purchase.
I ordered chocolate cream and pistachio eclairs, didn't feel top quality as you would normally with French pastries but it's good enough for one time try. Out of the two, pistachio eclair was better. Also, had their individual hazelnut chocolate cake which wasn't that delicious as I expected, not sure if it's due to the wafer layer that's inside the cake but didn't quite enjoy that.
The Asian lady behind the counter was friendly and gave good feedback when asked for recommendations on their most popular pastries.
Overall, it's certainly a good spot to stop by and try some French bakery items and pastries.

As of the writing of this review I have to say that the puff pastry here is some of the best I have ever had. You can buy there very tasty baked goods, or if you prefer, take a look at the frozen section and pick up some puff pastry treat or just the pastry to add a little oomph to your own baking. I personally like the danishes and the mushroom savory pockets.

A must visit or go to for dessert pastries craving. They sometimes have the lit fresh made sub station open.

Have been getting desserts from this hidden gem of a pastry place for months, their dedication to quality is admirable, and the consistency is commendable - the desserts do not dip in quality. Really nice staff too, favorites are the tarte tatin, mango cheese cake and the hazelnut chocolate cake.

Best bakery in town. I love the chefs croissant, the Italian sausage rolls and hazelnut moose cake. I try some thing new every time I visit and I’m never let down.

If you want a cake that will definitely ruin your diet you need to try the chocolate hazelnut cake. It's so good you'll keep going back for more. I got one for my mom's birthday and everyone in my family loved it. Also, I emailed the restaurant and they responded promptly and let me know I should reserve one, so as not to miss out. I think we will be back:)

Excellent chocolate croissants and the London fog tea. Desserts have great flavour, not too sweet, kind and efficient staff. Unfortunately they were out of frozen pies and meals but that’s probably because they are so yummy.
Anyhow, they have lots desserts to choose from, my to go is the mango coconut dome and chocolate hazelnut thingy.

I’ll definitely be avoiding this place, I used to frequent and I dropped by on a weekend and a lot of the items were sold out early in the afternoon. I brought someone with me who hadn’t been before and they asked a few questions about the products available and the cashier was extremely rude and dismissive towards them. The pastry and stuff is decent but the customer service this time around was not.

Definitely one of the best pastry places in Calgary, it was super yummy and I would definitely come back again.

As a baker myself I rarely buy cakes & pastries but I picked up some impulse Danish pastries on the way to visit friends. The lemon & strawberry and peach pastries were homemade & delicious, I highly recommend

Very cute French market with Absolutely amazing crème brûlée! All the desserts we bought were Incredible in flavour and we found it was the perfect sweetness! Highly recommend.

Wow. This is one of those places that you walk into and immediately wish you left your fat kid eyes and wallet at home. Incredible attention to detail here! The more you look the more you find! Bunch of additional savory items also available. So a great spot for any time it's open really!

Now let's talk about taste. In the top left of the picture is a mango coconut mouthful of amazing. Top right is a apple caramel of mouth orgasm and last but god damn certainly not least is a raspberry almond blast of the best thing you've ever put in your mouth.

Always the most beautiful pastries! I love the croissants, so many varieties! A definite must if you’re looking for French bakery items. I have a really nice flat white made by Chef himself as well. So glad to have this bakery in my Hood!

Stopped in here after I came out of the butchers that is next door. The contents of pastry case display in this place is gorgeous and delicious to the eye and even more so when you bite into anyone of the pastries and desserts. Go here, try anything - you won’t be disappointed

It hard to find nice bakery and coffee shops in Calgary, but Éclaire de Lune does not disappoint. They have amazing pastries. Their pastry dough is super fluffy, not too greasy and still has the soft bits in the inside. I have been here a few times and they do not disappoint. They also have fair prices and you can get a French baguette for under 3 dollars!

This French bakery is a gem in Greenview Industrial Park!

I haven't tried their bread or Danish pastries so I can't comment on that, but my go-to items are Opera cake, Saint Marc, and raspberry crème brûlée. They are all divine. Added bonus, these delights are gluten-free.

The bakery is clean and tidy. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes you can wait a bit in line for service, but it's still worth it for me.

Their previous location was closer to my house, but I need my Opera cake slice so I'm still willing to drive a little further to get my fix!

Some absolutely slam drink items such as the cakes. Good throughout the lineup but some disappointments considering the hype. Pastries and croissants have great filling, bread is flaky and soft but not the best I've tried in the city.

Maybe discount dry day-old croissants? People can tell when things are fresh.
Most bakeries advertise and discount day olds.
I had an amazing croissant here a year ago, and today had a dry crumbly old croissant. Same price for both. What’s the deal?

Always a great experience! Probably the best take and bake Cinnamon buns in the city! If you love French pastry done right you need to check out!

Decadent and delightful. So many options it’s really hard to choose! Pastries, cakes, macaroons, croissants, etc. In the end made a choice, but it was hard!

Very tasty, but they take forever. I don't have all day to wait for a sausage roll and a chocolate mousse. They've got the baking down, but they really need to improve the front of house.

I've only been here once so I only tried the ice americano and a napoleon but both were really good. It wasn't too sweet, which I like. It's a small place with 3 tables outside on sidewalk. They had a frozen section too in the back but didn't really see what they had for sale. I would definitely come back here.

Always friendly service, fabulous baked goods, desserts and love, love, love that I can support an amazing local small business byy purchasing some of my veggies and other grocery needs here. Best French cafe in town!

The pastries here are out of this world.if you ever have an opportunity to have an éclair de lune cake, you won’t be disappointed

The presentation is great but the taste is lacking to say the very least. A little bit disappointed since they look so good!

The only place in Calgary that I will treat myself to when I’m craving a deliciously fresh, flaky croissant or any other French treat. I highly recommend the eclairs of course! Outstanding. We’ve ordered several cakes as well. We are never disappointed and are always delighted!

One of my favourite places to grab cake! I love places that offer individual slices because I like being able to try a few different flavours at a time. The strawberry vanilla fraisier is so far my top recommendation, followed by their napoleon and lemon meringue tart. I do find the chocolate varieties to be a little too rich. Their new location is smaller than their old shop, but I've noticed that they have more cakes available during the day than before. I look forward to trying out more flavours!

My favourite bakery! Every item amazes me and I love the new location. I use to go to the school near the old location so it was always nice to visit, but now the new location is even closer! My favourite thing is the lemon tart and hazelnut cake:)

Their strawberry short cake is the best I ever ate, they used real dairy cream for their cakes, and cakes & pastries not too sweet. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

We are a regular at this place. Yesterday we visited the new location they have moved to and realized it’s every bigger and better now.
The way chef makes the food here is amazing. I tried the apple tart yesterday and again I was impressed. We never had a bad experience ever here. The best pastry shop in town

I usually purchase chocolates and cookies from Costco to give out at Christmas but decided to use Eclair de Lune instead.
They made up 15 gift boxes full of delicious baking with gift cards and ribbon and I couldn't be happier!
What an incredible way to spoil my neighbors and friends all while supporting a kickass local business!

The quality of baked goods is excellent. No issues at all.

I did experience 3 customer service issues, which should be addressed.

I was greeted by a new customer service representative (CSR), and I began selecting my 10 items along the cooler. I had already asked for 2 peiceals of 1 item, when the next customers in line (behind me) ordered 3 of that same item from the senior CSR at the till. The senior CSR came over, removed the tray, removed 3 items, delivered them to the other customers; leaving only 1 piece on the tray. I reminded the staff that I had already asked for 2 pieces, and was told that there was only 1 remaining and was asked if I wanted that one. I calmly expressed my frustration at this situation, and was initially told there was nothing that could be done. After reconfirming my concern, the senior CSR spoke with the baker, who pointed out that there was another half-tray of that product under the counter. I was given my 2 pieces. The senior CSR did not initially attempt to address my concern, and only by pushing my concern was the solution found. I would have left as a disgruntled customer if I did not push my concern. By not being proactive, the senior CSR caused an uncomfortable situation. This should have been dealt with differently and better.

I then asked for 2 pieces of the next item on my list. I was told that they have not made that item for at least 2 years. I confirmed that I created my order list from their online menu. The senior CSR basically looked blankly at me, offering no response. I reminded the staff that I ordered from their (obviously outdated) online menu. The senior CSR then told me she would inform the owners.

Finally, I informed the senior CSR that the address and map location on their FB Page was incorrect; still showing their previous location. Again, with no demonstrated appreciation, she told me that she would inform the owners.

I did buy 10 items, and look forward to sharing them at a family gathering. I also have a lingering feeling that the service standard was not up to standard. I think some additional training for the CSRs would be helpful.

Been to their new location a few times already. It’s beautiful, bright and spacious. Great place to have dessert and coffee and just hang out. Their desserts, sandwiches, and pastries are all amazing! Can tell they use quality ingredients and put their love into the creations. Highly recommend!

Everything I've ever tried from Éclair de Lune has been INCREDIBLE! My favourite is their raspberry mousse cake! Cookies, sandwiches, merengues, eclairs, cakes - everything worth to try!

The new location is brighter and more spacious; however, the service was super slow and the staffs seemed to be not very well-trained that they didn't know what they're doing had to come back and forth to check which item was which. They also had to look at a hand-written price sheet to check the price one by one that took up too much time and created an unnecessarily long line up as they're just simply serving coffee and pastries (not even any hot food).

I don't mind to pay a little more if the food quality is very food, but in general i think this place is a bit overpriced where i can find similar or better quality pastries in another bakery.

This bakry is not bad, but don't bother to go there if you don't have much time for the long slow line up.

Saw this little hidden gem many times and didn't stop to check it out until today. Wow. It was so good. We tried the chocolate/vanilla-Almond cake and the strawberry short cake. Both were very very good.
We also tried the sausage roll and definitely very different from anywhere else I've had. Real sausage and not the ground up stuff and not greasy. It was very good.
We ordered coffee and he made it fresh! Ground up the beans himself.

Be patient if it's busy, it is worth the wait! They are moving from their current spot by the end of this month August.
